Project - Telework House – Elaboration of interregional concept and pilot implementation

Description

Description: As a result of cooperation between the Municipality of Örkény, the Hungarian Telework Association and the Slovakian Dvory nad Žitavou (Udvard), a telework house was established in autumn 2007. The project enabled the establishment of a telework house with 22 computer workstations in Örkény. Within the project a labour market study, an analysis of telework patterns, and e-learning telework training materials were prepared under the aegis of the Hungarian Telework Association. Both electronic and printed brochures were made with the purpose of informing potential employers of teleworkers. The project also had a favourable effect on the cohesion between the settlements. Potential teleworkers attended a jointly organized training on the concept and possibilities of teleworking.
