« DAMAGE » s’intéresse à l’évaluation de dégâts causés par un sinistre et vise la mise en place d’une méthodologie commune. Pour cette raison, le projet propose la construction d’un instrument méthodologique d’application pratique et immédiate. Destiné aux agences de protection civile et aux gouvernements locaux, régionaux et nationaux, cet instrument permettra d’évaluer les dommages depuis une perspective multidimensionnelle, en incluant les aspects économiques, environnementaux, sociaux et d’infrastructures. La réalisation du projet mènera à la standardisation des méthodes d’évaluation des dommages dérivant de catastrophes naturelles ou technologiques, permettant une valorisation objective multidimensionnelle des conséquences d’un sinistre. Le projet propose donc d’aborder le procédé d’évaluation des dommages à partir de la connaissance du patrimoine territorial, de l’analyse des risques et des vulnérabilités existantes.

Expected Results (FR):

Séminaires, ateliers de travail et activités formatives pour promouvoir l’application à l’échelle européenne des données et résultats obtenus. Construction d’un système d’information géographique (SIG) incluant les aspects socio-économiques, environnementaux et d‘infrastructures de vulnérabilité du territoire, les ressources pour ire face aux risques. • Diffusion d’un catalogue de données spatiales, géographiques pour analyser les dommages post-sinistres à l’échelle européenne.
