The Taste2Seas clusters will work on food-related themes, and more specifically:
- Process Innovation: towards more sustainable production methods, guaranteeing food and nutrition security, delivering fresher, healthier and tastier local produce to consumers.
- Supporting local economies: Giving consumers access to local produce and meanwhile reducing the carbon footprint. Producing locally is also an important asset in a regional branding context.
- Food waste reduction: Innovative ways of handling food waste and by-products. Various environmental benefits can be gained by developing appropriate sensitizing actions.
