Description (EN):

The project aimed to integrate and consolidate regional academic capacities into a network of excellence for the management of chronic diseases; To bridge the knowledge – practice gap in the management of chronic diseases through capacity building focused on multidisciplinary and integration in research and development, education and medical practice.

Achievements (EN):

Created and developed CHRONEX-RD, 60 Partnership agreements with primary and community medicine practices in Iasi, Odessa and Chisinau, 17 Partnership agreements with clinical institutions in Iasi, Odessa and Chisinau, research cores of CHRONEX-RD developed, 30 researchers able to pursue independent research once returned in their home institutions, Increased capacity to provide clinical training for health care professionals in the cross-border area, 240 health care professionals followed the online modules, 60 research projects developed by training participants, 360 health care professionals followed trainings

Expected Results (EN):

Coordination system for CHRONEX-RD in the first 8 months of the project; Biomedical Research Core (Romania) in the first year of the project; Primary and Community Medicine (PCM) research core (all three countries) in the first year of the project; Quality Management System for PCM by the end of the project; Clinical Research Core (all three countries) in the first year of the project; Community Engagement with CHRONEX-RD activities by the end of the project; Simulation Center in Chisinau (SCC) (infrastructure); Research Management Training Program (RMTP) (Romania, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine); Chronic Diseases Management Training Program (CDMTP) (Romania, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine); Training of Trainers Training Program (TOTTP) (Romania, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine).
