Description (EN):

The aim of the project is the building of local LRED main players’ entrepreneurial and administrative capacities to enhance social, information, trade and other links to local level, as well as between partner countries hence encouraging national governments to scale-up cooperation opportunities and synergize efforts towards better life in the Black Sea Basin.

Achievements (EN):

Acc. to Final narrative report, project's achievements are: - PACA Manuals for practitioners published. PACA Manual elaborated/translated into partners' native languages /published 5x 100 pcs./partner and disseminated among target groups as alternative method to evaluate; - 15 PACA/LRED Exercises conducted in 15 communities / 3 regions per partner countries as follows: 1. Armenia – Noratus, Sarukhan and Noyemberyan 2. Greece – Litohoro, Dion and Petra-Pieria 3. Moldova – Chishkareni, Sipka and Dolmujeni 4. Georgia – Martvilli, Samtredia and Dmanisi 5. Bulgaria – Obshchina Dobrichka, Staro Oryahovo and Dolni Chiflik LRED/PACA Methodology/exercise applied in these selected regions contributed to local competencies enhancement process; - Experts in PACA/LED coaching group (12) has been established and provided support for 5 cross-border initiatives.Coaching provided for 250 entreprenors for SMEs and local start-ups; - 1 Investment Forum orgainized in Greece (2 days, 50 participants); - 5 National workshopes organized in partner country (1 workshop/country with 35 participants); consolidated results of PACA Exercises presented and booklets disseminated tothe project's stakholders (project partners, local administrations, regional development agencies, private sector etc.). Official statement signed between project partners; - Networking Workshop (2 days) organized; - LRED Network (LRED NET) created during project lifetime. Mid-term Implementation Plans and Action Plan for 12 months elaborated by partners for sustainability purposes. - PACA Joint Booklets published – 15 booklets created and printed in 1,500 copies; booklets distributed to the stakeholders in 15 pilot areas; it contains PACA's exercises results (findings and initiatives) and cross-border opportunities. - PACA Joint Brochures published - 500 copies, distributed to the interested parties; - 40 newsletters prepared & published for about 5,500 recipients; - 60 press-releases; - Leaflet of project published - 1,800 copies, distributed to all interested parties, - 2 Banners produced and used during events; - 6 final press conferences organized in partner countries; - 1 common website established - http://lred-net.smednc.am/ - Project folders, pens, USB memory sticks, notebooks, Map of PACA Area created/ distributted.

Expected Results (EN):

1. Project Partners are equipped with innovative LRED promotion tools and disseminate them through local level measures. 2. Local administrations and other important stakeholders are implementing local economic development initiatives and activating new types of services or new ways of providing existing services. 3. Permanent economic and social relations are set-up between local stakeholders from different countries involved in the project through an LRED network. 4. Entrepreneurs adopting innovations and starting new production. 5. Entrepreneurs / economic agents achieving new skills and competencies.
