Project - MIND

Description

Description (EN): In Germany as well as in the Netherlands, "Liefe Science & Health" is an innovative sector with enormous growth potential for the future and thus one of the most important pillars of the economy in both countries. The whole area of health care is particularly a challenge for companies, for example, aging and new disease pictures can be mentioned here. In the German-Dutch border region, there is a high competence in the field of innovations for the health & life science sector. In both countries, it provides various initiatives that stimulate innovation in this field. However, these initiatives are often not cross-border. The promotion of German-Dutch cooperation is intended to increase the potential for growth and the economic value of these initiatives. The MIND project promotes cross-border cooperation as well as the development of innovative products, which can answer the economic and social challenges, especially in the care sector. MIND serves the development of innovative products, processes and services in the Areas: 1. Home care, self-management and telemedicine, 2. Medical products, 3. Prevention On the one hand, the MIND project supports six consortia in the development of new products and, on the other hand, supports further consortia in the development of new projects. The project is thus divided into two main activities (see scheme in Annex 1): 1. Realization of six innovation projects, including support for business support, 2. Development of 18 new market-oriented cross-border innovation projects, a. Inventory of project ideas in the border area, b. Preparation and development of promising projects by realization of potential analyzes, c. Involvement of an expert committee.
