Les 5 régions du projet MarittimoTech partagent 4 filières prioritaires qui sont autant d’opportunités pour stimuler leur économie marquée par la crise et pour atteindre les objectifs de croissance intelligente, inclusive et durable : le nautisme – chantier naval, le tourisme durable, les biotechnologies et les énergies renouvelables « bleues » et « vertes ». Le développement et la recherche de l’excellence de ces secteurs représentent des tremplins pour de jeunes entreprises créatives, innovantes, à fort potentiel et hautes ambitions économiques et géographiques. Mais le succès durable de ces entreprises (faibles taux de survie à 3 ans et chiffres d’affaires comparés aux moyennes nationales) se heurte à la faiblesse des liens collaboratifs et des synergies entre les différentes forces en présence (entrepreneurs, industries, universités,…) et au manque de financements. C’est pourquoi les 7 partenaires de MarittimoTech proposent de concevoir, développer, expérimenter puis pérenniser un Accélérateur transfrontalier de startups spécialisées dans les filières prioritaires. MarittimoTech fournira aux startups sélectionnées (objectif de 45 startups sur 2017-2018) un accompagnement intensif d’une durée de 4 mois comportant : - Appuis individuels et ateliers collectifs (services de formation, outils juridiques, comptables, marketing,…) - Mentorat, assorti de mises en réseau et de possibilités de synergies (Masterclass) - Accès aux financements (Roadshows transfrontaliers) L’Accélérateur sera physique (sur chaque territoire du projet) et virtuel (via une plateforme collaborative franco-italienne). Il sera aussi un laboratoire d’innovation pour tous les acteurs impliqués qui collaboreront et mettront en lumière de nouveaux marchés ou solutions technologiques. Ainsi, MarittimoTech offre à la zone de coopération un maillage transfrontalier des expertises et spécialités, favorisant la complémentarité transfrontalière des spécialisations intelligentes régionales.

The 5 regions of the MarittimoTech project share 4 priority supply chains that are opportunities to stimulate their economy marked by the crisis and reach smart, inclusive and lasting growth objectives: leisure boating, shipyard, sustainable tourism, biotechnology and "blue" and "green" renewable energy. The development and pursuit of excellence of these sectors are springboards for young, innovative, high-potential companies with significant economic and geographical ambitions. However, the lasting success of these companies (low 3-year survival rates and turnover compared to the national averages) clashes with scarce collaborative ties and synergies between the various forces (entrepreneurs, industries and universities) and lack of funding. For this reason, the 8 MarittimoTech partners propose to design, develop, test and maintain a cross- border accelerator of startups specialised in the priority supply chains. MarittimoTech will provide selected startups (with a target of 45 startups in 2017-2018) with an intense 4-month support as follows: - Individual support and community workshops (training services, legal instruments, accountants and marketing) - Consultancy, webinars and possible synergies (Masterclasses) - Access to financing (cross-border Roadshows). The Accelerator will be both physical (for each project area) and virtual (by way of a Franco-Italian collaborative platform). It will also be an innovation laboratory with all the actors involved collaborating to single out new markets and technological solutions. In this way, MarittimoTech offers to the cooperation area a cross-border fabric of knowledge and specialities and fosters the cross-border complementarity of smart regional specialisations.

Le 5 regioni del progetto MarittimoTech condividono 4 filiere prioritarire che sono delle opportunità per stimolare la loro economia segnata dalla crisi e raggiungere obiettivi di crescita intelligente, inclusiva e durevole : il nautismo – cantiere navale, il turismo sostenibile, le biotecnologie e le energie rinnovabili « blu » e « verdi ». Lo sviluppo e la ricerca dell’eccellenza di questi settori rappresentano dei trampolini di lancio per le giovani imprese creatrici, innovative, a forte potenziale e con grandi ambizioni economiche e geografiche. Ma il successo durevole di queste imprese (bassi tassi di sopravvivenza a 3 anni e fatturati paragonati alle medie nazionali) si urta alla scarsità dei legami collaborativi e sinergie tra le diverse forze presenti (imprenditori, industrie, università…) e alla mancanza di finanziamenti. Per questo motivo gli 8 partner di MarittimoTech propogono di progettare, sviluppare, sperimentare e mantenere in vita un Acceleratore tranfrontaliero di startup specializzate nelle filiere prioritarie. MarittimoTech fornirà alle startup selezionate (obiettivo di 45 startup nel 2017-2018) un accompagnemento intenso di una durata di 4 mesi che comporta : - Sostegni individuali e workshop collettivi (servizi di formazione, strumenti giuridici, commercialisti, marketing,…) - Consulenza, accompagnata da collegamenti in rete e possibilità di sinergie (Masterclass) - Accesso ai finanziamenti (Roadshow transfrontalieri) L’Acceleratore sarà fisico (su ogni territorio del progetto) e virtuale (via una piattaforma collaborativa franco-italiana) Sarà anche un laboratorio d’innovazione con tutti gli attori coinvolti che collaboreranno e metteranno in luce nuovi mercati o soluzioni tecnologiche… In tal modo, MarittimoTech offre all’area di cooperazione una maglia transfrontaliera di conoscenze e specialità favorendo la complementarità tranfrontaliera delle specializzazioni regionali intelligenti.

Achievements (FR):

Activités réalisées ou en cours: Cartographie du territoire et définition des compétences-clés pour l’Accélérateur. Étude des èxperiences / compétences sur tous les territoires de la coopération au support de l'accélérateur; création d'une base de données transfrontalière (voir extrait). Création de 4 groupes de travail transfrontaliers pour la conception de l'Accélérateur transfrontalier de Startup: Gouvernance: Structure et phases de réalisation de l’accélérateur; Définition et répartition des responsabilités entre les partenaires et les experts pour les activités d’animation; Modalités de animation; Durabilité; Plateforme: Le groupe de travail prévoit les fonctions de la plateforme et les spécifications techniques. Formation: le travail du groupe vise à définir le parcours de formation et l'assistance technique qui sera fournie par l'accélérateur; Sélection: le groupe définit les critères de sélection des idées entrepreneuriales et des startups qui bénéficieront des services accélérateurs Promotion du projet et animation de l'accélérateur sur le territoire: Création du matériel de communication (Brochure MarittimoTech), de le portail web de l’Accélérateur et les social network (Facebook et Twitter); rencontres avec les parties intéressées et participation aux événements promotionnels (Visité les pages Evènements et Actualités). Publication de l'avis et sélection des startups participantes au programme: La sélection concernait futurs chefs d’entreprise, startup innovants,: tous ceux qui ont une idée d'entreprise innovante à n'importe quel niveau de développement, prototype ou simple idée de projet, dans les filières prioritaires. A été publié le classement final sur l’appel à candidature de projets d’entreprise innovantes et startups qui bénéficieront des services de l’Accélérateur Transfrontalier. Un classement final a été établi pour chaque région, avec les candidats admis et non admis à l'Accélérateur. À la suite de la publication du classement pour l’accés à l’Accélérateur Marittimotech, a commencé le programme d'accélération pour 45 projets d’entreprise innovantes et startup divisé en cours individuels et séances collectives. Le programme examinera en détail les thèmes stratégiques fondamentaux pour la naissance et le soutien de startup de succés: Comment créer une startup innovante; Business model e business plan; Environnement & Concurrence sur chacune des filieres bleue et verte dans la zone de cooperation IT-FR Maritime (avec une attention particulière vers les secteurs liés à la nautisme, tourisme durable, biotechnologies et energies renouvelabes); Le plan commercial; Minimum viable product; Storitelling et stratégies de communication pour les entreprises; Fundraising, crowdfunding e crowdsourcing; Gestion financière et présentation final du business plan; Le programme d'accélération conçu et implémenté par le projet Marittimotech, a été divisé en parcours individuels et en séances collectives, pour une durée totale de 4 mois. Les partenaires ont défini les modalités de mise en œuvre et les enjeux à aborder dans ce processus, afin de construire un modus operandi partagé au niveau transfrontalier pour promouvoir l'intégration trans-territoriale, mais adapté sur chaque territoire en fonction des besoins des " projets accélérés ". La première partie du cours s'est concentrée sur des sessions collectives, divisées en leçons méthodologiques et ateliers, pour renforcer les "projets accélérés" (création/développement) grâce à des outils techniques et opérationnels. L'objectif de cette première phase du programme d'accélération était de renforcer le modèle économique du projet d'entreprise et de réussir son entrée sur le marché et de faire face à la concurrence. La deuxième partie du programme d'accélération s'est concentrée sur le rapport 1:1 entre les start-up ou les porteurs de projet et les experts/professionnels d'un secteur donné. Les bénéficiaires ont ensuite pu bénéficier d'un cours individuel d'une durée maximale de 28 heures, pour les start-up, et de 8 heures, pour les aspirants entrepreneurs, afin d'approfondir les questions d'intérêt pour le développement de leur projet d'entreprise. La durée était évidemment proportionnelle aux besoins réels des participants au parcours d'accélération. L'Accélérateur Marittimotech s’est distingué par son caractère trans-territorial non seulement dans la définition du cadre opérationnel (méthodes et thèmes du parcours d'accompagnement) mais aussi par les moments de partage - physique et virtuel - entre les participants. Au cours du processus d'accélération, deux rencontres transfrontalières ont été organisées pour sensibiliser les start-up et les porteurs de projet sélectionnés : un ice breaking event (au début) et un transnational pitch (à la fin) (Téléchargez le programme de l'évènement), où les bénéficiaires ont eu l'occasion de présenter leurs idées au territoire de la coopération. De plus, les participants ont eu accès à une section de la plateforme Marittimotech pour échanger de l'information et activer des collaborations. Enfin, pour les bénéficiaires sélectionnés par les commissions locales et transnationales, se sont ouvertes les portes du South Summit, un événement dédié à la rencontre entre innovation, créativité et entrepreneuriat où 10 "projets accélérés" ont eu l'occasion de rencontrer des investisseurs internationaux et d'entamer un dialogue avec les start-up et entreprises présentes au salon. Ces moments se sont révélés importants pour promouvoir l'intégration et le développement trans-territorial des idées d’entreprise. En conclusion, le 5 février dernier, au Palais des Congrès d’Ajaccio, a été réalisé l’événement final du projet et il est possible de voir tous les détails sur le lien Final Event.

Study of èxperiences/competencies in all territories of cooperation in support of the accelerator; creation of a cross-border database (see extract). Creation of 4 cross-border working groups for the design of the Startup Cross-Border Accelerator: Governance: Structure and phases of realisation of the accelerator; Definition and division of responsibilities between partners and experts for animation activities; Mode of animation; Sustainability; Platform: The working group shall provide for the functions of the platform and the technical specifications. Training: the group’s work aims to define the training path and technical assistance to be provided by the accelerator; Selection: the group defines the criteria for selecting entrepreneurial ideas and startups that will benefit from accelerator services Promotion of the project and animation of the accelerator in the territory: Creation of communication material (Brochure MARITTIMOTECH), the Accelerator web portal and the social network (Facebook and Twitter); meetings with interested parties and participation in promotional events (Visit the Events and News pages). Publication of the notice and selection of startups participating in the program: The selection concerned future business leaders, innovative startups: all those who have an innovative business idea at any level of development, prototype or simple project idea, in priority sectors. The final ranking was published on the call for innovative business projects and startups that will benefit from the services of the Transfrontalier Accelerator. A final ranking was established for each region, with candidates admitted and not admitted to the Accelerator. Following the publication of the MARITTIMOTECH Accelerator Accelerator ranking, began the acceleration program for 45 innovative business projects and startup divided into individual courses and group sessions. The program will examine in detail the key strategic themes for the birth and support of successful startups: How to create an innovative startup; Business model and business plan; Environment & Competition on each of the blue and green lines in the IT-FR Maritime cooperation zone (with special attention to sectors related to boating, sustainable tourism, biotechnologies and renewable energies); The business plan; Minimum viable product; Storitelling and communication strategies for businesses; Funding, crowdfunding and crowdsourcing; Financial management and final presentation of the business plan; The acceleration program designed and implemented by the MARITTIMOTECH project has been divided into individual courses and collective sessions, for a total duration of 4 months. The partners defined the modalities of implementation and the challenges to be addressed in this process, in order to build a modus operandi shared at cross-border level to promote trans-territorial integration, but adapted in each territory according to the needs of the “accelerated projects”. The first part of the course focused on collective sessions, divided into methodological lessons and workshops, to strengthen “accelerated projects” (creation/development) through technical and operational tools. The objective of this first phase of the acceleration programme was to strengthen the business model of the business project and to successfully enter the market and face competition. The second part of the acceleration programme focused on the 1:1 ratio between start-ups or project leaders and experts/professionals in a given sector. The beneficiaries were then able to benefit from an individual course of up to 28 hours, for start-ups, and 8 hours, for aspiring entrepreneurs, in order to deepen the issues of interest for the development of their business project. The duration was obviously proportional to the actual needs of the participants in the acceleration journey. The MARITTIMOTECH Accelerator has distinguished itself by its trans-territorial character not only in the definition of the operational framework (methods and themes of the accompanying journey) but also by the moments of sharing — physical and virtual — between the participants. During the acceleration process, two cross-border meetings were organised to raise awareness among selected start-ups and project leaders: an ice breaking event (at the beginning) and a transnational pitch (at the end) (Download the programme of the event), where the beneficiaries had the opportunity to present their ideas to the territory of the cooperation. In addition, participants had access to a section of the MARITTIMOTECH platform to exchange information and activate collaborations. Finally, for the beneficiaries selected by the local and transnational commissions, the doors of the South Summit were opened, an event dedicated to the meeting between innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship where 10 “accelerated projects” had the opportunity to meet international investors and start a dialogue with the start-ups and companies present at the show. These moments proved to be important in promoting the integration and trans-territorial development of business ideas.
