Project - Transnational network for research and training in viticulture

Description

Description (EN): The future of the wine industry in the Upper Rhine region will be secured by sustainable viticulture without pesticide residues. Thanks to transnational research and innovation, the aim of the VITIFUTUR project is to strengthen the wine industry in the region by bringing together different institutional players, academics and winegrowers to meet the new challenges of viticulture. Several tasks will be carried out to this end: - A study of resistant varieties of economically important pathogens - Strategies to prevent the spread of viruses - An analysis of the aetiology of grapevine trunk diseases and evaluation of the effectiveness of new treatments
