Description (DE): Das Projekt bereitet die Schüler auf die Herausforderungen des grenzüberschreitend zusammenwachsenden Arbeitsmarktes in den Bereichen Kulturmanagement und Management des regionalen Tourismus vor. Um den Schüler- und Lehreraustausch und den Erwerb beruflicher Qualifikationen zu fördern, werden in den vom Steuerungsteam ausgewählten Schulen Schülerreiseagenturen (SRA), bestehend aus 15 Schülern und 2 Lehrern, gegründet. Deren Mitglieder wirken als „Botschafter der Region“ bei der Entwicklung einer gemeinsamen Marke der Region mit. Zu ihren Aufgaben gehört neben der Bewerbung der Region die Erarbeitung eines Kultur- und Tourismusangebotes zur nachhaltigen Nutzung des gemeinsamen Kultur- und Naturerbes für alle im Fördergebiet gelegenen Schulen. Im Rahmen des Projektes wird den SRAs die notwendige Ausstattung (u. a. Möbel, Hard- und Software, Fachliteratur) finanziert und im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit des Projektes nach dessen Beendigung den Schulen zur weiteren Verwendung im Rahmen der SRAs kostenfrei überlassen. Schüler wie Lehrer nehmen sowohl an den von Fachleuten geleiteten (u. a. Workshops, Schulungen) als auch von den SRAs organisierten MaBnahmen (u.a. JugendKulturFestival; Schülertourismusmesse) teil. Neben den o.g. beruflichen Qualifikationen erwerben und vertiefen die Schüler ihre sprachlichen und landeskundlichen Kenntnisse zum Nachbarland. Die als Betreuer tätigen Lehrer unterstützen die Umsetzung der ProjektmaBnahmen. Ihre Honorare und diejenigen der Kultur- und Touristikfachleute, die als Mentoren der zwischenschulischen Zusammenarbeit im jeweiligen Land (jeweils eine Person) agieren, werden aus den Projektmitteln bezahlt. Das Projekt sieht MaBnahmen auBerhalb des Fördergebiets vor. Die Schüler lernen die neuesten Trends und Strategien bei der Bewerbung einer Region kennen und nutzen die erworbenen Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen anschlieBend für die Entwicklung eines modernen Tourismus- und Kulturangebotes in der Grenzregion und zur effektiven Bewerbung dieser.
Read more Description (EN): Under the project, it is planned to prepare pupils to face new challenges related to the development of the cross-border labour market in the following areas:
Manager of Regional Tourism and Manager of Culture. In order to enhance the exchange, gain new professional qualifications, create Polish and German tourist networks, and to enhance the attractiveness of the support area, i.e. the preparation of a tourist offer by making use of the common cultural and natural heritage, Pupils’ Tourist Agencies (PTAs) will be created in four higher secondary schools in Poland and in three lower secondary schools in Saxony. Under the PTAs, it is expected that there will be 15 pupils ambassadors of the region and 2 teachers in each schools, whose task will be to jointly prepare, present and promote the cultural and tourist offer of the region for other schools within the support area. To do that, pupils and teachers will participate in educational activities carried out by Polish and German experts, which will make them possible to gain professional competences in the field of regional tourism and cultural management, to improve their knowledge of their neighbour’s language, as well as to deepen their knowledge of social realities of the neighbourhood country and the borderland region. Teachers acting as subject tutors of pupils’ groups will support the performance of activities and logistic processes of the PTAs. Project resources will enable to appoint regional experts in culture and tourism to act as mentors, with one person in Poland and one person in Saxony. Pupils will learn the newest trends and strategies to promote culture and tourism, as well as will gain skills and practical experiences they will be able to use in order to elaborate a modern and effective cultural and tourist offer of the borderland under the activity of the

menedżer turystyki regionalnej i menedżer kultury. W celu zwiększania wymiany, zdobywania kwalifikacji zawodowych,
tworzenia polskoniemieckich sieci turystycznych oraz zwiększania atrakcyjności obszaru wsparcia tj. opracowanie przez

sąsiedniego kraju i regionu przygranicznego. Nauczyciele pełniący rolę opiekunów merytorycznych grup uczniowskich
wspierają realizację działań oraz procesy logistyczne w UAT. W ramach środków projektowych zatrudnieni zostaną
regionalni eksperci ds. kultury i turystyki jako mentorzy, jedna osoba w Polsce i jedna w Saksonii. Uczniowie zapoznają się z
najnowszymi trendami i strategiami promocji kultury i turystyki oraz zdobędą umiejętności i praktyczne doświadczenia, które

Read more Achievements (DE): Im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Landesamt für Schule und Bildung und vier polnischen Landkreisen wurde ein grenzübergreifendes Kooperationsnetzwerk von SuS und Lehrer:innen aus vier polnischen und drei sächsischen Gymnasien gebildet. Im Rahmen des Projekts erwarben die SuS berufsbezogene Kompetenzen im Bereich Tourismus- und Kulturmanagement. Darüber hinaus diente es der Förderung schulischer und beruflicher Mobilität der SuS, in dem die Nachbarsprache erlernt, interkulturelle Kompetenzen erworben sowie Wissen über das gemeinsame sächsisch-polnische Kulturerbe vermittelt wurden.
Im Rahmen der Umsetzung des Projekts wurden in sieben Schulen SchülerReiseAgenturen (SRA) gegründet. Ihre Aufgabe bestand darin, ein zweisprachiges Tourismusangebot zu erstellen, in dem das kulturelle und touristische Potenzial der Region ausgewiesen wird; die Zielgruppe bildeten vor allem junge Menschen. In zahlreichen Workshops und Treffen mit Experten aus Polen und Deutschland sowie Studienbesuchen in den attraktivsten Orten der Region lernten die SuS, warum es so wichtig ist, Marketing für seine Stadt und Region zu betreiben. Sie lernten, wie man SRAs gründet und betreibt und ein kulturelles und touristisches Angebot der jeweiligen Heimatorte erstellt. Ebenso erfuhren sie, wie man Kulturveranstaltungen in der Schule, in der Stadt oder Region veranstaltet und vermarktet.
Im Ergebnis wurden von den SRAs Regionale Tourismusmessen in Żary, Görlitz und Hoyerswerda, ein Jugendkulturfestival in der Europastadt Görlitz/Zgorzelec sowie eine Polnisch-Sächsische Konferenz junger Kultur- und Tourismusmanager in Bolesławiec veranstaltet.
Im Rahmen dieser gezielten Förderung des Austausches von SuS und Lehrer:innen sowie der Bildungsmaßnahmen im Rahmen des Projekts erwarben die SuS umfassende Kompetenzen im Kultur- und Tourismusmanagement. Sie wurden damit zu „Botschafter der Region“ und zählen zum Kern der gemeinsamen regionalen Marke: eine moderne und innovationsfreundliche Wirtschaft und Bildung. Die SRAs leisten einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Vielfalt des kulturellen und touristischen Angebots in der Region und erhöhen damit ihre Attraktivität und ihren Wiedererkennungswert.
Read more Achievements (EN): As part of the cooperation between the State Office for Schools and Education and four Polish counties, a cross-border cooperation network between SuS and teachers was formed: females from four Polish and three Saxon high schools. As part of the project, the SuS acquired professional skills in the field of tourism and cultural management. In addition, it served to promote school and professional mobility of the SuS, in which the neighbouring language was learned, intercultural competences were acquired and knowledge about the common Saxon-Polish cultural heritage was taught.
As part of the implementation of the project, student travel agencies (SRAs) were established in seven schools. Its task was to create a bilingual tourism offering that identifies the region’s cultural and tourist potential; the target group was above all young people. In numerous workshops and meetings with experts from Poland and Germany as well as study visits to the most attractive places in the region, the SuS learned why it is so important to do marketing for its city and region. They learned how to establish and operate SRAs and create a cultural and tourist offer of the respective hometowns. They also learned how to organise and market cultural events at school, in the city or in the region.
As a result, the SRAs Regional Tourism Fairs in Żary, Görlitz and Hoyerswerda, a youth culture festival in the European city of Görlitz/Zgorzelec and a Polish-Saxon conference of young cultural and tourism managers in Bolesławiec were organised.
As part of this targeted promotion of the exchange of SuS and teachers, as well as the educational activities within the framework of the project, the SuS acquired comprehensive competences in cultural and tourism management. They have become “Ambassadors of the Region” and are at the heart of the common regional brand: a modern and innovation-friendly economy and education. SRAs make a decisive contribution to the diversity of cultural and tourist offers in the region, thereby increasing their attractiveness and recognition value.
