Description (EN): The presented project addresses main problems identified in the municipalities of Bolesławiec and Zittau, including the degradation of important cultural buildings and the lack of space for organizing large-scale cultural events. The above mentioned problems cause a number of adverse effects, inter alia, the insufficient use of the cultural potential of both municipalities, the impossibility to undertake common, cross-border cultural events in the municipalities of Bolesławiec and Zittau, the insufficient promotion of the cultural heritage of the area, the reduced social, cultural and tourist attractiveness of the area.
Tasks to be performed under the project:
1. Renovation and extension of cultural buildings in Bolesławiec and Zittau.
2. Performance of common cultural events in Bolesławiec.
3. The performance of common cultural events in Zittau will make it possible to address the identified problems and to attain the assumed objective of the investment to strengthen the cultural infrastructure of the cross-border area and use it to perform common projects and to promote the Polish and Saxon borderland region.
Products of the project comprise: a rebuilt amphitheatre and stage in Bolesławiec, a rebuilt and extended amphitheatre in Zittau, Polish and German singing workshops, “Voices of Cities” concerts, an international photographic competition “Two Cities - Creative Photography”, music workshops for the youth, presentation of traditional handicrafts of the region: pottery and fabrics, and film workshops “Young Eyes For Neighbours”.
The performance of the project will enable to achieve the following values of the indexes:
Number of cultural objects supported - 2.
Number of persons using cultural buildings supported - 16 370 persons.
Number of cultural events organized - 6.
Read more Description (PL): Przedstawiany projekt stanowi odpowiedź na główne zdiagnozowane problemy na terenie gmin Bolesławiec i Zittau w postaci degradacji ważnych obiektów kultury oraz braku przestrzeni dostosowanych do organizacji wydarzeń kulturalnych na szerszą skalę. Ww. problemy powodują szereg negatywnych oddziaływań, m.in.: niedostateczne wykorzystanie potencjału kulturalnego obu gmin; brak możliwości realizacji wspólnych, transgranicznych przedsięwzięć kulturalnych gmin Bolesławiec i Zittau; niedostateczną promocję dziedzictwa kulturalnego obszaru; zaniżenie atrakcyjności społecznej, kulturalnej i turystycznej obszaru. 2. Realizacji wspólnych wydarzeń kulturalnych w Bolesławcu;

Realizacji wspólnych wydarzeń kulturalnych w Zittau; umożliwi odpowiedź na zdefiniowane problemy oraz osiągnięcie założonego celu inwestycji, określonego jako: wzmocnienie infrastruktury kultury obszaru transgranicznego oraz wykorzystanie jej do realizacji wspólnych przedsięwzięć i promocji regionu pogranicza polsko-saksońskiego. Produkty projektu obejmują: -Przebudowany amfiteatr i scena w Bolesławcu. -Przebudowany i rozbudowany amfiteatr w Zittau. -Zorganizowane polsko-niemieckie warsztaty wokalne. -Zorganizowane koncerty „Głosy miast". -Zorganizowany międzynarodowy konkurs fotograficzny „Dwa miasta - fotografia kreatywna". -Zorganizowane warsztaty muzyczne dla młodzieży. -Prezentację tradycyjnego rzemiosła regionu: ceramiki i tkanin. -Zorganizowane warsztaty filmowe „Młode oczy dla sąsiadów". W wyniku realizacji projektu zostaną osiągnięte następujące wartości wskaźników: Liczba obiektów zasobów kultury objętych wsparciem-2 szt. Liczba osób korzystających z obiektów zasobów kultury objętych wsparciem - 16 370 osób. Liczba zrealizowanych imprez kulturalnych - 6 szt.
Read more Description (DE): Das präsentierte Projekt ist eine Antwort auf die auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinden Bolesławiec und Zittau festgestellten Probleme. Gemeint werden hier die sanierungsbedürftigen wichtigen Kulturobjekte und der Mangel an Räumen, die an die Veranstaltung von größeren Kulturvorhaben angepasst wären. Die o.g. Probleme bilden eine Reihe negativer Auswirkungen u.a.unzureichende Nutzung des Kulturpotentials der Gemeinden; Unfähigkeit zur Organisation der gemeinsamen grenzübergreifenden Kulturveranstaltungen der Gemeinde Bolesławiec und Zittau; die unzureichende Promotion des Kulturerbes des Raums; die Senkung der sozialen,kulturellen und touristischen Attraktivität des Gebiets.
Die Umsetzung der Aufgaben im Rahmen des Projekts:
1.Renovierung und Erweiterung von Kulturobjekten in Bolesławiec und Zittau
2.Umsetzung gemeinsamer Kulturveranstaltungen in Bolesławiec
3.Umsetzung gemeinsamer Kulturveranstaltungen in Zittau beantwortet die festgestellten Probleme und ermöglicht,den angenommenen Zweck des Investition zu erreichender folgend formuliert wurde: die Stärkung der Kulturinfrastruktur des grenzübergreifenden Gebiets,sowie deren Nutzung zur Umsetzung gemeinsamer Vorhaben und für die Promotion des polnisch-sächsischen Grenzraums.
Die Produkte des Projekts umfassen:
-Das umgebaute Amphitheater und die Bühne in Bolesławiec -Das umgebaute und erweiterte Amphitheater in Zittau -Die veranstalteten polnisch-deutschen Gesangworkshops -Die veranstalteten Konzerte die „Stimmen der Städte" -Den veranstalteten internationalen photographische Wettbewerb „Zwei Städte-kreative Photographie"
-Die veranstalteten Musik-Workshops für Jugend
-Die Präsentation des traditionellen Handwerks der Region: Keramik und Gewebe -Die veranstalteten Film-Workshops „Junge Augen für Nachbarn"

Read more Achievements (EN): The project was an answer to the problems identified in the municipalities of Bolesławiec and Zittau. This refers to the important cultural objects in need of renovation and the lack of objects that would be adapted to the organisation of larger cultural projects. As part of the project, Amphitheater and the stage were rebuilt in Bolesławiec and Amphitheater in Zittau. The joint events were a good occasion for meetings of young people and residents from both sides of the border. The following events took place:
