L’obiettivo del progetto ALPMEDITERR è di dare luce alla meta turistica delle Alpi del Mediterraneo attraverso la strutturazione della sua governance all’interno del Parco Europeo, ma anche alla definizione di una strategia territoriale di turismo sostenibile che valorizzi la diversità e la particolarità di questo vasto spazio protetto, in particolare per quanto riguarda le escursioni a piedi. Il presente progetto è un progetto di transizione che ha la vocazione di donare capacità operazionale al raggruppamento europeo di cooperazione territoriale (GECT) che unisce il parco del Mercantour e quello delle Alpi Marittime. Quest’ultimo già coordina dei partner che partecipano al progetto Patrimonio Mondiale, alla cui conclusione ambiscono a proseguire l’esperienza di cooperazione attraverso la costruzione di una Iniziativa Territoriale Integrata per una migliore definizione di sviluppo integrato multisettoriale.

L'objectif du projet ALPMEDITERR est de donner naissance à la destination touristique des Alpes de la Méditerranée, à travers la structuration de sa gouvernance au sein du Parc européen, mais aussi la définition d'une stratégie territoriale de tourisme durable mettant en valeur la diversité et les particularités de ce vaste espace protégé, notamment sur le versant de la randonnée pédestre. Le présent projet est un projet de transition qui a vocation à donner une capacité opérationnelle au groupement européen de coopération territoriale (GECT) qui unit le parc du Mercantour à celui des Alpi Marittime. Ce dernier, coordonne déjà les partenaires qui participent au projet Patrimoine Mondial. A terme, ils ambitionnent de pouvoir poursuivre l'expérience de coopération à travers la constitution d'une Initiative Territoriale Intégrée pour une meilleure définition de la stratégie de développement intégrée multisectorielle.

The objective of ALPMEDITERR is to create the touristic destination of Mediterranean Alps, through the structuration of its governance in the European Park, but also through the definition of a territorial strategy of sustainable tourism, capable to give value to the diversity and the peculiarity of this protected site, in particular regarding trekking. The project is conceived as a transition that has the goal to give operational capacities to the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation, that unites Mercantour Park and Maritime Alps Park. The latter is already in coordination with some project partners who are participating to the project World Heritage; at the end of this project they want to continue this cooperation experience through the construction of an integrated territorial initiative for a better definition of multi-sector integrated development.

Expected Results (IT):

Il primo risultato del progetto è definizione di una strategia che caratterizzi la destinazione turistica «Alpi del Mediterraneo» che valuti il potenziale del territorio e che definisca le linee direttrici per il suo utilizzo e valorizzazione. In stretta connessione con la definizione della strategia, i partner fissano come sotto-obiettivi la struttuazione di una rete di sentieri per creare itinerario coerente. Il terzo risutato riguarda la continuazione del processo comune inaugurato dalla Carta Europea del Turismo Sostenibile (CETS). I due Parchi per il 2017 prevedono il rinnovamento congiungo della Carta come Parco Europeo. Il progetto permetterà ugualmente di organizzare delle sessioni di formazione destinate agli operatori turistici, e un’attenzione particolare sarà destinata alla comunicazione.

Expected Results (FR):

Le premier résultat du projet est la définition d'une stratégie caractérisant la destination touristique « Les Alpes de la Méditerranée ». Cette stratégie évalue le potentiel du territoire et définit les lignes directrices pour son utilisation et sa valorisation. En lien étroit avec la définition de la stratégie, les partenaires se fixent comme sous-objectif, la structuration d’un maillage de sentiers afin de créer une stratégie d'itinérance. Le troisième résultat concerne la poursuite du processus commun entamé avec la Charte Européenne du Tourisme Durable (CETD). Les deux Parcs prévoient en 2017 le renouvellement conjoint de la Charte en tant que Parc européen. Le projet permettra également d'organiser des sessions de formation à destination des opérateurs touristiques et une attention particulière sera accordée à la communication

Expected Results (EN):

The first result of the project is the definition of a strategy that will characterize the touristic destination of the "Mediterranean Alps". This strategy will evaluate the potential of the territory and will define the best ways to exploit and promote it. In tight connection with the definition of this strategy, the partners will fix as sub-objectives the creation of a network of trails, to arrange a coherent itinerary. The third result is to continue the common process launched with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS). In 2017, the two parks have planned to renew the Charter as European Park. The project will enable the organization of training sessions for touristic operators, and a particular attention will be given to communication.
