El proyecto EXPORT FOOD SUDOE tiene por objetivo mejorar la competitividad y promover la internacionalización de las PYME del sector agroalimentario del Espacio SUDOE mediante el desarrollo de acciones de cooperación entre empresas, principalmente a través de la creación de consorcios de exportación. Las acciones de formación, asesoramiento y apoyo técnico y comercial previstas en el proyecto pretenden ayudar a las PYME a superar los principales obstáculos para su internacionalización: su pequeño tamaño, su debilidad estructural o su falta de recursos. Ello permitirá incrementar sus exportaciones y mejorar su posicionamiento internacional a largo plazo. El proyecto beneficiará directamente al menos a 100 empresas que participarán en las actividades de información, formación y asesoramiento para mejorar su posicionamiento internacional, incluyendo la elaboración de respectivos planes estratégicos de internacionalización. Los resultados del proyecto serán más visibles en el caso de las empresas que avancen en los procesos de cooperación empresarial. Se prevé que al menos 50 de ellas puedan estar en disposición de explorar la oportunidad de crear consorcios de exportación y eso permitirá alcanzar el objetivo de constituir al menos 5 consorcios de exportación, con la participación de al menos 20 empresas.

Le projet EXPORT FOOD SUDOE vise à améliorer la compétitivité et promouvoir l'internationalisation des PME du secteur agro-alimentaire de l'espace SUDOE par la mise en oeuvre d'actions de coopération inter entreprise, à travers des consortiums d'exportation. Les actions de formation, conseil et appui technique et commercial prévues dans le projet visent à aider les PME à surmonter les obstacles à leur internationalisation, qui découlent de leur petite taille, de la faiblesse de leurs structures ou leur manque de ressources. Ce qui contribuera à accroître leur exportations et améliorer leur positionnement international à long terme. Le projet bénéficiera directement à au moins 100 entreprises qui participeront aux activités d'information, de formation et de conseil pour l'amélioration de leur positionnement international, y compris l'élaboration de leurs plans stratégiques d'internationalisation respectifs. Les résultats de cette démarche seront plus pertinents dans le cas des entreprises disposant d'un potentiel et d'une volonté d'intégration à des initiatives de coopération inter entreprises. Il est envisagé qu'au moins 50 sociétés, puissent être en mesure d'explorer l'opportunité de la création de consortiums d'exportation pour arriver à l'objectif de constituer au moins 5 consortiums d'exportation, avec la participation d'au moins 20 entreprises.

Description (EN):

EXPORT FOOD SUDOE aims at improving the competitiveness and promoting SMEs internationalization of agro-food sector within Sudoe area through the development of cooperation actions between enterprises, mainly through export partnerships building. Trainings, assistance and commercial and technical support are foreseen to help SME to face the internationalization’s obstacles: their small size, their structural weakness and the lack of resources. This will increase their exportations and improve their international position at long term. The project will directly benefit at least 100 enterprises, which will participate, to information activities, trainings and assistance to improve their international position, including the drafting of international strategic plans. The results of the project will be more visible in the case of enterprises, which are leading with business cooperation. At least 50 participating enterprises will have the possibility to create export partnerships, which will lead to the building of 5 export partnerships with at least 20 participating enterprises.

Achievements (EN):

the project has technically selected and prepared 86 SMEs in the sector for their participation in the project. 100% of the participating companies have found possibilities for cooperation with other companies and 85% were or are in cooperation processes. The results of the project include: - The drafting of strategic internationalization plans for 86 SMEs in the agro-food sector. These plans include internationalization objectives and specific actions to develop. - 3 business meetings (Lisbon 2017, Seville 2017, Bordeaux 2018) with the participation of 60 companies to enable meetings and cooperation between companies. During the latter, companies benefited from advice and training and were able to meet market actors and experts. - Organization of 5 trade missions (United Kingdom with the participation of 7 companies, Ireland with the participation of 4 companies, Belgium with the participation of 7 companies, Sweden with the participation of 9 companies and Germany with the participation of 5 companies). Following these missions, a support service was created for companies interested in developing joint internationalization actions. - The inclusion of company products on the website www.saludables.com and the creation of a promotional catalogue. Thanks to EXPORT FOOD SUDOE, the mentalities of the participating companies were changed from focusing exclusively on the commercial nature of the exchanges to a more collaborative approach. The project has been highlighted as the 3rd best performance of the national cluster in Spain.
