Die gemeinsamen Herausforderungen der Programmregion ergeben sich aus der Analyse der aktuellen Situation im Bereich der Interpretation des Kultur- und Naturerbes als Mittel zur Verankerung und Entwicklung der grundlegenden gemeinsamen Idee. Die gemeinsame Idee ist, dass der wirklich effektive und nachhaltige Weg, wie kann man Kultur- und Naturerbe bewahren kann, nicht Befehle, Verbote und Beschränkungen, aber Veränderung von Einstellungen und Denken der Bevölkerung und der Besucher dieses gemeinsamen Gebietes sind. Unsere Idee ist es, dass sich der Weg zu dieser Änderung aus der Anerkennung dieses Erbes ergibt, dadurch die grundlegenden Kontexte zu verstehen sind, aus denen das Erbe gekommen ist bis zur bewussten Ausnutzung dieses Erbe, was für die nachhaltige Entwicklung unseren Region wichtig ist und das beeinflusst die Stärkung der sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Stabilität der Bevölkerung, die hier lebt. Dieser Zugang ist derzeit nur in einzelnen Lokalitäten und häufiger im österreichischen Teil des Programmregions als in der tschechischen möglich. Die gemeinsame Herausforderung besteht darin, diesen Zugang in der ganzen Region möglich zu machen und die positiven Beispiele, gute Praxis und Erfahrung der Menschen zu verwenden. Das vorgelegte Projekt setzt sich zum Ziel, in Abstimmung und Kooperation mit verschiedensten Partnern grenzüberschreitende Informationen und Dienstleistungen zu entwickeln und anzubieten, die dazu beitragen sollen, das Natur- und Kulturerbe in Südböhmen, dem Mühlviertel und auch dem Waldviertel noch stärker zu positionieren. Ziel ist es, die Einstellungen und das Denken der jungen Generation zu beeinflussen. Das wichtigste Ergebnis des Projekts wird die Bewerbung und die Erschließung des Kultur- und Naturerbes in der gemeinsamen Region in verschiedenen Formen (Publikationen, interaktive Naturlehrpfade, Außen- und Innen Expositionen, Vermittlungsprogramme für Jugendliche) sein. Für die Erschließung werden mehrere Infrastrukturmaßnahmen notwendig sein. Das Ergebnis wird auch die Schaffung einer gemeinsamen Informations- und Organisationsplattform sein, die nicht nur einen koordinierenden Ansatz für das Projekt hat, sondern auch für die spätere Verwendung der Outputs und ihre Nachhaltigkeit zu gewährleisten. Unser Ziel ist, das umfangreiche Know-how unterschiedlicher professioneller Natur- und Kulturanbieter grenzüberschreitend zu vernetzen und so einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung und sanften Erschließung des „Grünen Band Europa“.. Durchgängig zweisprachige Informationen sind ein Teil des Projekts. Der wesentliche Grund für den grenzüberschreitenden Ansatz ist die Tatsache, dass das Kultur- und Naturerbe auf beiden Seiten der Grenze weitgehend auf der Grundlage einer meist gemeinsamen Geschichte basiert. Das Grüne Band Europa wird durch das Projekt „GrenzRad“ in das Bewusstsein der Bevölkerung in Österreich und Tschechien gerückt.

The common challenges of the programme region result from the analysis of the current situation in terms of interpreting the cultural and natural heritage as a means for anchoring and developing the shared foundational idea. The common idea is that the truly effective and sustainable way of preserving cultural and natural heritage is not by issuing commands, prohibitions and restrictions, but rather changing the attitudes and thinking of the residential population of and visitors to this shared area. Our idea is that the path to this change starts with the recognition of this heritage, thereby understanding the basic contexts from which the heritage has originated and the conscious exploitation of this heritage, which is crucial for the sustainable development of our region and which impacts the strengthening of the social and economic stability of the population living here. This access is currently only possible in individual locations and more frequently in the Austrian part of the programme region than in the Czech Republic. The common challenge is to make this access possible throughout the entire region and use the positive examples, good practice and experience of the people. The aim of the presented project is to develop and offer cross-border information and services in coordination and cooperation with a wide range of partners, which should help to position the natural and cultural heritage in South Bohemia, the Mühlviertel and especially the Waldviertel. The goal is to influence the attitudes and the thinking of the young generation. The most important result of the project will be the application and development of the cultural and natural heritage in the common region in various forms (publications, interactive nature trails, internal and external expositions, mediation programmes for young people, etc). Several infrastructure measures will be necessary for the development. The result will also be the creation of a shared information and organisational platform, which not only takes a coordinating role to the project, but also ensures the later use of the outputs and their sustainability. Our aim is to network the extensive know-how of different professional nature and culture providers across borders and thus make an important contribution to the further development and gentle incorporation of the "Green Belt of Europe". Consistent provision of bilingual information is part of the project. The main reason for the cross-border approach is the fact that the cultural and natural heritage on both sides of the border is largely based on a shared history. The Green Belt of Europe is being brought to the attention of the population in Austria and the Czech Republic through the "Grenzrad" project.

Společné výzvy programového území vyplývají z analýzy současné situace v oblasti interpretace kulturního a přírodního dědictví jako nástroje pro zakotvení a rozvoj základní společné myšlenky. Tato společná myšlenka spočívá v tom, že opravdu účinnou a udržitelnou cestou k uchování kulturního a přírodního dědictví nejsou příkazy, zákazy a různá omezení, ale změna postojů a myšlení obyvatelstva a návštěvníků tohoto společného území. Naše představa je, že cesta k této změně vede od poznání tohoto dědictví přes pochopení základních souvislostí, z kterých toto dědictví vyšlo až k uvědomělému šetrnému využívání tohoto dědictví ve prospěch udržitelného rozvoje našeho společného území a tím k posílení socio ekonomické stability obyvatelstva, které zde žije. Tento přístup lze v současnosti pozorovat pouze v dílčích lokalitách a častěji v rakouské části programového území než v části české. Společnou výzvou je rozšířit tento přístup do celého společného území a využít k tomu pozitivní příklady dobré praxe a zkušenosti lidí, kteří za těmito příklady stojí. Předkládaný projekt má za cíl v koordinaci a spolupráci s různými partnery přispět k rozšíření přeshraniční nabídky informací a služeb, které posílí pozitivní využití přírodní a kulturní dědictví v jižních Čechách, Mühlviertelu a Waldviertelu k poznání, pochopení a šetrnému chování obyvatel a návštěvníků v tomto území. Cílem je ovlivňovat postoje a myšlení především mladé generace. Hlavním výstupem projektu bude prezentace a zpřístupnění kulturního a přírodního dědictví společné oblasti, která bude mít různé formy (publikace, interaktivní naučné trasy, venkovní i vnitřní expozice, terénní výukové programy pro mládež). Zpřístupnění pak bude řešeno několika nezbytnými infrastrukturními řešeními. Výstupem bude i vznik společné informační a organizační platformy, která zajistí koordinovaný přístup nejen k realizaci projektu, ale především k následnému využívání výstupů a zajištění jejich udržitelnosti. Způsob řešení a tedy naplnění cíle projektu vede přes příhraniční propojení rozsáhlého know-how různých aktérů činných, jak v kultuře, tak ochranně přírody - od turistických svazů, přes cestovní kanceláře, odborné časopisy, odborné organizace, odborná vydavatelství, nová média, poskytovatele služeb pro návštěvníky, muzea – k vytvoření společné prezentace kulturního a přírodního dědictví naší části Zeleného pásu Evropy a k využití různých interaktivních forem představení této prezentace místnímu obyvatelstvu i návštěvníkům. Všechny formy prezentace budou řešeny důsledně dvojjazyčně. Zásadním důvodem pro přeshraniční přístup je skutečnost, že i kulturní a přírodní dědictví na obou stranách hranice je do značné míry společné a vychází ze společné historie. Díky měkkým přírodě blízkým aktivitám zaměřených na návštěvníky, projekt „GrenzRad“ dostane Zelený pás Evropy do širšího povědomí obyvatel Rakouska a České republiky.

EC-Day: Fahrradtour in die Vergangenheit! Erkunden Sie das unberührte Gebiet entlang des ehemaligen Eisernen Vorhangs in Oberösterreich und Südböhmen. Der Eiserne Vorhang hat lange die Nachbarländer Österreich und Tschechien voneinander getrennt. Seit seinem Fall ist das Grenzgebiet nicht nur wieder zugänglich sondern aufgrund seiner Unberührtheit auch ein besonderes Naturerlebnis. Im Projekt Grenzrad wurde die Geschichte der beiden Länder aufgearbeitet und wird nun mittels Ausstellungen und Informationstafeln entlang von touristischen Strecken der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert. Das Wegenetz entlang des Eisernen Vorhangs in Oberösterreich und Südböhmen wurde außerdem besser beschildert und um touristische Infrastruktur ergänzt.

EC-Day: Bike tour in the past! Explore the pristine area along the former Iron Curtain in Upper Austria and South Bohemia. The Iron Curtain has long separated neighbouring Austria and the Czech Republic. Since its fall, the border area has not only been accessible again, but also a special nature experience due to its untouchedness. In the Grenzrad project, the history of the two countries has been elaborated and is now presented to the public by means of exhibitions and information boards along tourist routes. The network of paths along the Iron Curtain in Upper Austria and South Bohemia was also better signposted and supplemented with tourist infrastructure.

Expected Outputs (DE):

a) Das Kultur- und Naturerbe wird für eine bessere Kenntnis bzw.Verständnis und als Kontext für die Zielgruppen verwendet. Damit wird die wesentliche Voraussetzung für den Schutz und die Erhaltung des Kultur- und Naturerbes nachhaltig erfühlt. b) Das Ergebnis wird ein aktualisiertes Angebot mit neuen Themen und neuen Elementen in Orten bieten, die dies bisher vernachlässigt haben. Zur gleichen Zeit wird es zu einer verbesserten Zugänglichkeit bestehender Elemente des Natur- und Kulturerbes führen. c) Das Ergebnis wird die Gründung und Entwicklung von gemeinsamen strategischen Ansätze zur Erhaltung, Entwicklung und Bewerbung des kulturellen Erbes sein, um damit die Nachhaltigkeit der Projektergebnisse sicherzustellen. d) Das Ergebnis wird verbessertes Potential für sanften Tourismus sein. Diese Ergebnisse führen zu der Erweiterung des Angebotes von Tourismuszielen und unterstützt auch deren Bewerbung, was zu einer erhöhten Anzahl von Besuchern in der Region führt.

Expected Outputs (CS):

Realizací projektu bude dosaženo následujících výsledků: a) Kulturní a přírodní dědictví (KPD) společného území bude využito ve prospěch hlubšího poznání a pochopení souvislostí od cílových skupin projektu. Tím bude splněna základní podmínka pro trvalou ochranu a zachování KPD. b) Výsledkem bude obohacení nabídky interpretace KPD o nová témata a o nové prvky lokalizované v místech, která byla dosud opomíjena. Současně dojde i k lepšímu zpřístupněné stávajících prvků KPD c) Výsledkem bude vznik a rozvoj společných strategických přístupů k ochraně, rozvoji a propagaci dědictví, což zajistí udržitelnost všech výstupů projektu d) Výsledkem bude zlepšený potenciál pro měkkou turistiku, která je postavená na šetrném a udržitelném zhodnocení KPD. Tyto výsledky povedou k rozšíření nabídky cílů a k jejich větší propagaci, což se odrazí ve zvýšeném počtu návštěvníků v oblasti a logicky i ve zvýšeném počtu přenocování, protože zde bude existovat programová nabídka na více dní pobytu.
