Im Programmgebiet mangelt es an technisch ausgebildeten Fachleuten mit guten Sprachkenntnissen. Es sind daher eine höhere Anknüpfung der Bildung auf den Arbeitsmarkt und eine Qualitätserhöhung der fachlichen Sprachkenntnisse notwendig. Dieses Projekt reagiert auf diesen Mangel. Das Hauptziel ist die effektive Implementierung der CLIL-Methode an Fachhochschulen mit technischen Studiengängen, mit dem Ziel den Einsatz von Fachexpert_innen mit entsprechenden Fremdsprachkenntnissen und für den Arbeitsmarkt benötigten Kompetenzen in der grenzüberschreit.Region zu erhöhen. Die Erfüllung des Projektzieles wird zur Erweiterung eines gemeinsamen Bildungsangebotes in technischen Studiengängen beitragen, wobei die Fachkenntnisse und Kompetenzen der Absolvent_innen den Anforderungen konkreter Firmen in der Region, denen es an Fachkräften mit geeigneten Fremdsprachenkenntnissen mangelt, entsprechen werden. Schließlich kann das Projekt auch zu besseren Chancen der Absolventen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt, zu vermehrten Mobilitäten und zur Harmonisierung der Ausbildungssysteme in beiden Ländern beitragen. Das Projekt zielt auf Studierende und Lehrpersonal der Hochschulen, Unternehmen in der Region und deren Mitarbeiter ab. Die Hauptergebnisse sind Module von fachspezifischen Fächern technischer Fachrichtungen (Maschinenbau, Bauwesen, Logistik, Informatik), die mithilfe von CLIL in Deutsch, Tschechisch und English erarbeitet werden, weiter auch Fachbücher und Publikationen, die in der Lehre und Praxis genutzt werden. Bestandteil sind auch gemeinsame Veranstaltungen sowie Realisation eines Pilotprojekts, das die Ergebnisse des Projekts in Praxis überprüfen soll. Im Projekt soll Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) - integrierte bilinguale Sachfachlehre - als Lehr/Lernstrategie etabliert werden. Es geht um integriertes Lernen von Inhalten und Sprache,d.h. Unterricht eines nicht sprachlichen Faches mithilfe einer Fremdsprache zum Vermitteln des Inhalts. Das Projekt bemüht sich ausgewählte Fächer und Studiengänge, die an beiden Hochschulen unterrichtet werden, zumindest teilweise zu harmonisieren, damit ihr Inhalt den Bedürfnissen der Praxis auf beiden Seiten der Grenze entspricht. Aus diesem Grund ist eine grenzüberschreit.Zusammenarbeit notwendig, denn es müssen Besonderheiten der beiden Seiten berücksichtigt werden. Die Abstimmung der Ergebnisse mit Praxis sollte auch die Einbeziehung von relevanten Institutionen aus AT und CZ in Form von strategischen Partnern garantieren. Im Projekt überschneidet sich die Ebene der territorialen Sprachkenntnis (D,CZ) und Lingua Franca Kenntnis (E). Deswegen werden alle Ergebnisse auf Deutsch und Tschechisch und einTeil auch auf Englisch sein, was auch die Anforderung der Praxis ist. Als innovativ sehen wir die Implementation von CLIL im grenzüberschreit.Kontext und das Interesse an den Interventionsprogrammen für die Erhöhung der fachlichen und sozialen Persönlichkeitskompetenzen in den Fremdsprachen (D,CZ,E).

Description (EN):

There is a lack of technically trained professionals with good language skills in the programme area. Therefore, a better link between education and the labour market and an increase in the quality of professional language skills are necessary. This project responds to this shortfall. The main goal is the effective implementation of the CLIL method at universities of applied sciences that offer technical study programmes, with the aim of increasing the deployment of field experts with corresponding foreign language skills and skills needed for the labour market in the cross-border region. Achieving the project objective will contribute to the expansion of a common educational offer in technical study programmes, whereby the skills and competencies of the graduates will correspond to the requirements of specific companies in the region, which lack specialists with corresponding foreign language skills. Finally, the project can also contribute to better opportunities for graduates on the labour market, increased mobility and the harmonisation of the education systems in both countries. The project is geared to students and teachers at universities of applied sciences, companies in the region and their employees. The main results will be modules of specialist courses and technical disciplines (mechanical engineering, construction, logistics, computer science) that are developed in German, Czech and English using CLIL, as well as specialist books and publications used in teaching and practice. It also includes joint events as well as the realisation of a pilot project to review the results of the project in practice. The project aims to establish Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) - integrated bilingual teaching theory - as a teaching/learning strategy. It is about integrated learning of content and language, that is, teaching a non-linguistic subject using a foreign language to convey the content. The project endeavours to, at least in part, harmonise selected subjects and study programmes that are taught at both universities of applied sciences, so that their content meets the needs of the practice on both sides of the border. For this reason, cross-border cooperation is necessary, since peculiarities on both sides of the border must be considered. Coordination of the results with the practice should also guarantee the inclusion of relevant institutions from Austria and the Czech Republic in the form of strategic partners. In the project, the level of territorial linguistic knowledge (D, CZ) and Lingua Franca knowledge (E) overlap. For this reason, all results will be in German and Czech and a part in English, which is also the requirement of the professional practice. We see the implementation of CLIL in the cross-border context and the interest in the intervention programmes for increasing professional and social competencies in the foreign languages (D, CZ, E) as beneficial innovations.

V programovém území je řešena otázka technicky vzdělaných odborníků s kvalitní cizojazyčnou výbavou. Je potřeba zajistit větší návaznost vzdělávání na trh práce a z přeshraničního hlediska zkvalitnit i odborné jazykové znalosti. Předkládaný projekt na tento nedostatek reaguje. Hlavním cílem projektu je efektivní implementace metody CLIL v technickém vysokoškolském vzdělávání za účelem zvýšení využití odborníků s odpovídajícími cizojazyčnými znalostmi a dovednostmi na pracovním trhu v přeshraničním regionu. Naplnění cíle projektu přispěje k rozšíření společné nabídky vzdělávání v technických oborech v obou sledovaných regionech, přičemž odborné znalosti a dovednosti absolventů budou korespondovat s požadavky konkrétních firem v přeshraničním regionu, které se dlouhodobě potýkají s nedostatkem technicky vzdělaných odborníků s cizojazyčnou výbavou. Ve výsledku může projekt přispět též k lepšímu uplatnění absolventů na trhu práce, k intenzivnějším výměnám a k harmonizaci systému odborného vzdělávání v obou zemích. Projekt je zaměřen studenty a pedagogický personál vysokých škol, podniky v předmětném regionu a jejich zaměstnance. Hlavními výsledky projektu jsou moduly odborných předmětů technických oborů (Strojírenství, Stavebnictví, Logistika a Informatika), které budou zpracované pomocí metody CLIL v německém, českém a anglickém jazyce. Výsledkem budou též odborné knihy a další publikace, které budou využívány ve výuce i praxi. Součástí projektu je též organizace několika společných akcí a realizace pilotního projektu, který by měl ověřit výstupy projektu v praxi. V rámci projektu má být využívána metoda Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) – tzn. integrovaná bilinguální odborná výuka jako výuková strategie. Jedná se o obsahově a jazykově integrovanou výuku, tedy výuku nejazykového předmětu s využitím cizího jazyka ke zprostředkování obsahu. Projekt se snaží alespoň dílčím způsobem harmonizovat vybrané předměty a obory vyučované na obou školách tak, aby jejich náplň odpovídala potřebám praxe na obou stranách hranice. Z tohoto důvodu je nutná přeshraniční spolupráce, neboť je potřeba zohlednit specifika na obou stranách hranice. Soulad výstupů s praxí by mělo navíc zajistit zapojení relevantních institucí z Rakouska i Čech ve formě strategických partnerů. V projektu se překrývá úroveň teritoriální jazykové znalosti (němčina, čeština) a znalosti lingua franca (angličtina). Z tohoto důvodu budou veškeré výstupy v němčině a češtině a většina z nich též v agličtině, což je i požadavek praxe. Jako inovativní spatřujeme implementaci CLIL v přeshraničním kontextu a také zájem o intervenční programy zaměřené na zvýšení odborných a sociálních osobnostních kompetencí v cizích jazycích (NJ,ČJ,AJ).

Achievements (DE):

Im Rahmen des dreijährigen Interreg-Projekts CLIL (Content and Language-Integrated Learning), mit dem Ziel interaktives Lehr-/Lernmaterial in Deutsch, Englisch und Tschechisch für die Bereiche Informatik, Logistik, Bauingenieurwesen und Maschinenbau aufzubereiten, wurde ein Pilotprojekt durchgeführt, um die im Projekt entwickelten Module und Materialien zu testen und entsprechend zu evaluieren. Im Zuge dessen wurden zwei Studienaufenthalte realisiert: Die erste Pilotprojektwoche fand von 01.04.2019 – 12.04.2019 an der VSTE in Budweis statt und wurde in eine Präsenz- und Online-Testphase unterteilt. Dabei nahmen 9 Personen der FH OÖ und 16 Personen der VSTE Budweis teil. Die Teilnehmenden Studierenden, Lehrenden und Expert/innen kamen aus den Bereichen Logistik, Informatik, E-Learning, Didaktik und Pädagogik sowie der Hochschulforschung. Die zweite Pilotwoche fand von 13.05.2019 – 17.05.2019 an der FH Oberösterreich, Campus Steyr statt. 10 Personen der FH OÖ und 11 Personen der VSTE Budweis nahmen daran teil. Auch in dieser Pilotwoche waren Teilnehmende aus den Bereichen Logistik, Informatik, Maschinenbau, Bauwesen, Didaktik und Hochschulforschung vertreten. Durch weitreichende Expertise und der unterschiedlichen Disziplinen der Teilnehmenden konnten die Module und E-Learning-Materialien von verschiedenen Perspektiven aus betrachtet und evaluiert werden. Dies brachte für das Projekt einen großen Mehrwert mit sich, da sowohl die Meinungen der Studierenden und Lehrenden als auch jene der Expert/innen eingeholt werden konnte. Das Pilotprojekt zielte auf den Austausch und die Zusammenarbeit von Studierenden, Lehrenden und Expert/innen beider Partnerhochschulen ab. Im Zuge des Pilotprojektes wurden zwei gemeinsame Aufenthalte und Lehr-/Lernwochen in Österreich und der Tschechischen Republik realisiert. Dabei wurden ausgewählte Studierende und Lehrende aus den Bereichen Logistik, Informatik, Maschinenbau, Bauwesen, Didaktik, E-Learning und der Hochschulforschung adressiert, welche im Zuge des Projektes die ausgewählte Quzilet-Module und E-Learning-Materialien testeten und evaluierten. Dabei orientierte sich das Projekt an der praktischen Implementierung des Projektoutputs. Die Teilnehmer/innen konnten zudem an fachspezifischen Seminaren, Ex-kursionen und Veranstaltungen teilnehmen. Die Vorträge und Lehrveranstaltungen fanden in Tschechisch, Deutsch und/oder Englisch statt. Da sich das Projekt CLIL vorwiegend mit der Aufbereitung von E-Learning-Modulen und Online-Materialen beschäftigt, fand die erste Pilotprojektwoche weitgehend online statt. Im Zuge dessen sollte herausgefunden werden, ob die Module von den Studierenden und Lehrenden im Selbststudium verstanden werden und ob sich die Darstellung der Inhalte für die jeweiligen Vorlesungen eignet. Die zweite Woche des Pilotprojektes wurde teilweise in das Format der Cross-Cultural Business Conference in Steyr eingebettet, um einerseits der Dissemination des Projekts gerecht zu werden und anderseits möglichst viel Input von Expert/innen zu erhalten. Dadurch erhielten die Teilnehmenden auch die Möglichkeit an unterschiedlichen Exkursionen (z.B.: BMW-Werke Steyr), Veranstaltungen (z.B.: International Fair) sowie der Konferenz selbst teilzunehmen. Alle Teilnehmenden konnten sich dadurch mit Lehrenden und Studierenden aller vier adressierten Fachdisziplinen austauschen und darüber hinaus noch (inter)kulturelle Einblicke in weitere Kulturen und Disziplinen erhalten.

Achievements (EN):

As part of the three-year Interreg project CLIL (Content and Language-Integrated Learning), with the aim of preparing interactive teaching/learning material in German, English and Czech for the fields of computer science, logistics, civil engineering and mechanical engineering, a pilot project was carried out to test and evaluate the modules and materials developed in the project. In the course of this, two study visits were realised: The first pilot week took place from 01.04.2019-12.04.2019 at VSTE in Budweis and was divided into a presence and online testing phase. 9 people from the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences and 16 of the VSTE Budweis participated. The participants came from the fields of logistics, computer science, e-learning, didactics and pedagogy as well as university research. The project was based on the practical implementation of the project output. The participants were also able to take part in specialised seminars, excursions and events. The lectures and courses took place in Czech, German and/or English. Since the CLIL project mainly deals with the preparation of e-learning modules and online materials, the first pilot week took place largely online. In the course of this, it should be determined whether the modules are understood by the students and teachers in self-study and whether the presentation of the content is suitable for the respective lectures. The second week of the pilot project was partly embedded in the format of the Cross-Cultural Business Conference in Steyr in order to meet the dissemination of the project and, on the other hand, to receive as much input as possible from experts. This also gave participants the possibility of different excursions (e.g.: BMW-Werke Steyr), events (e.g.: International Fair) and the conference itself. All participants were thus able to exchange views with teachers and students from all four disciplines addressed and also (inter)cultural insights into other cultures and disciplines.

Module von fachspezifischen Fächern technischer Bereiche in Deutsch, Tschechisch und English, die die Hochschullehrer beider Schulen in Zusammenarbeit mit professionellen Didaktikern, Sprachwissenschaftlern und vor allem Vertretern des Anwendungssektors erschaffen werden. Es handelt sich um Schlüsselfächer der Fachrichtungen Maschinenbau, Bauwesen, Logistik, Informatik. Interaktive E-Learning-Erarbeitung der Module garantiert die Nutzbarkeit sowohl in der Lehre als auch im Selbststudium. Das Ergebnis werden auch Fachbücher und weitere Publikationen, die in der Lehre und in der Praxis genutzt werden. Das Ergebnis des Projektes ist gleichzeitig die Vorbereitung von Akkreditierungen für die Harmonisierung und Anerkennung einzelner Fächer im Rahmen der jeweiligen Fachrichtung, die Vorbereitung der Dokumente für duale Ausbildung und Möglichkeiten für Austausche. Schliesslich kommt es zur Erweiterung des gemeinsamen des Bildungs- und Qualifizierungsangebots in der grenzüberschreit. Region.

Expected Outputs (CS):

Moduly odborných předmětů technických oborů zpracované v německém, českém a anglickém jazyce, které vytvoří ve spolupráci s odbornými didaktiky, jazykovědci a především zástupci aplikační sféry vysokoškolští učitelé obou škol. Jedná se o klíčové předměty oborů Strojírenství, Stavebnictví, Logistika a Informatika. Interaktivní e-learningové zpracování modulů zaručuje využitelnost jak v přímé výuce, tak v samostudiu. Výsledkem budou též odborné knihy a další publikace, které budou využívány ve výuce i praxi. Výsledkem projektu je zároveň i příprava akreditací pro harmonizaci a uznávání jednotlivých předmětů v rámci daného oboru či příprava dokumentů pro duální vzdělávání a dále možnosti studentských výměn. Ve výsledku dojde k rozšíření společné nabídky vzdělávání a kvalifikace v přeshraničním regionu.
