Description
Description (EN): Both partners of the project are working in field of resocialization of addicts with different addictions into their communitities. As this sensitive issue is continuously changing expecially looking at the international spread of the drug addiction issues and its systems, it is necessary to continuously learn, follow and develop the therapeutic techniques and develop international cooperation of institution in this field, so they can present each other the best practices and the most efficient ways how to work with their clients to ensure their long term and succesfull recovery. As the major problem their stated „A lack of legal claim of therapeutic care on both sides of the border”, which results from the fact, that the re-integraction o f the addicts into the society is not supported by a traditional health or drug treatment, their reintegration can be achieved by different therapeutic techniques oriented on personal development or creation of a new lifestyle. Within this main progr am they also stated 3 main groups: lack of cooperation in this field; lack of therapeutic infrastructure resp. an overload of the professionals involved. There is a major lack of cooperation among the organization from Slovakia and Hungary dealing wi th reintegration of addicts, as well as lack of ways of familiariziation of the therapeutic techniques used in the organizations in these two countries. Within the lack of cooperation we can mention a need of a creation of a short video presenting di fferent techniques used within different organization, as well as a need of common meetings, competitions, programs as well as a lack of applications of the latest drug addiction treatment techniques. In order to reach a more effective cooperation it is necessary to develop the infrastructure, first of all because of the shortages and limitations within the therapeutic toolbar. The project offers solutions for these problems.
Read more Description (SK): Obaja partneri projektu pracujú v odbore resocializácie ľudí s rôznymi závislosťami do spoločnosti. V záujme zefektívnenia práce je nevyhnutné tiež rozvíjanie terapeutickej infraštruktúry a to hlavne z dôvodu súčasnej absencie technologického prostredia potrebného k úspešnej terapii. Projekt ponúka riešenie práve na tieto problémy.
Read more Description (HU): Mindkét projekt partner különböző függőségű (szenvedély beteg) közösségben dolgozik az emberek társadalmi visszailleszkedésének terén. Mivel e kényes probléma folyton változik, különösen, ami a drogfüggőségi problémák nemzetközi terjesztését illeti, szükséges folyamatosan tanulni, követni/figyelni, terápiás módszereket fejleszteni és az intézmények nemzetközi együttműködését kiépíteni e téren, hogy egymással ismertessék a legjobb és legsikeresebb munkamódszerek a kliensekkel a hosszú és sikeres gyógyulás érdekében.
Fő problémaként a "terápiás kezelés létjogosultságának hiányát" jelölték meg, melyet az a tény indokol, hogy a szenvedélybetegek reintegrációja elsősorban nem egészségügyi, ill. gyógyszeres kezelést igényel, hanem személyiségfejlesztést, új életforma kialakítását, ami terápiás módszerek segítségével valósítható meg. A legsúlyosabb problémán belül három fő csoportot jelöltek meg: az együttműködés hiányát e szakterületen; a terápiás infrastruktúra hiányosságát, valamint a segítők túlterheltségét. A szlovákiai és a magyarországi szenvedélybetegek reszocializációjával foglalkozó intézmények közötti együttmüködés hiányt szenved, ebből kifolyólag a két ország intézményeiben alkalmazott terápiás módszerek megismerése is. Az együttmüködés hiányán belül megemlítendő a több szervezet több módszerét bemutató közös film hiánya, közös találkozók, versenyek, programok hiánya, valamint az újonnan megjelenő drogok kezelési módszereinek hiánya. A hatékony munka érdekében a terápiás infrastruktúra is fejlesztésre szorul, elsősorban a terápiás eszköztár hiányosságai miatt. A projekt ezen nevesített problémákra alkalmas megoldást nyújtani.

This project is the biggest cross-border cooperation of the Slovakian Hope non-profit organization and the Hungarian Stop Group Foundation. We live in completely different environments, but for common mission: resocialization of addicted people. After more than 20 years we gathered a lot of experience to change and share.
As the main goal we have defined the legal claim of therapeutic community, because after medical care addicted people need for their recovery a long-term personal development in a supporting group. The second objective was to strengthen the cooperation in this special field, develop the therapeutic infrastructure and reduce the overload of professionals.
To reach these sustainable objectives we have made firstly a 5-day study visit for experts and a 2-day study visit for our clients - people addicted to alcohol, drugs, gambling and their family – to experience the partners life and change good practice.
We have introduced 8 courses for our target group on the both sides of the border: English, Hungarian and Slovak language course, cooking course, rural works, office assistant, law and undertaking, conflict management and self-knowledge course. Our goal was to raise chances of our clients for their recovery and reintegration.
In our preventive campaign we have involved experts and institutions working on the field of drug prevention and treatment of addicted people on 5 - 5 expert roundtable discussions furthermore teachers and students on 20 - 20 preventive lectures in grammar and high schools. We combined the competency of our experts and the personal experience of our recovering addicted clients.
From the project budget we have significantly developed our infrastructure: we have bought musical instruments, work safety equipment, office and education equipment, electronic equipment, books, sports equipment and a small tractor. We have produced a new website, 2 information brochures and a documentary film titled “Our mission”.
As the most expensive activity we have reconstructed and old 367 sq m boiler house into a multipurpose sports and leisure centre creating space for sport, prevention and therapeutic events. The centre will be available for the students and residents of the town.
A total of 58 professional events involving 193 organisations took place under the project. In all, 2 232 people took part in the events, of whom 1 062 were women and 93 were from marginalised groups.
“I think the main message of our project is that together is everything possible. For two civil organizations was the implementation and the financing a hard nut, but we constantly had to be focused on our goal and our mission. The slogan Building partnership is also true for our project. We established valuable relationships with experts, schools, civil organizations, recovering addicts and their family as well we could share and learn useful know-how. It was a really colorful project.” - dr. David Szőcs, project coordinator of Nádej - Reménység, n.o.
