Description (EN):

The future development of the economy, prosperity and quality of life in Europe will strongly depend on the following factors. Modern processes and methods are crucial for competitive products on a global scale. Smart production as the interplay of robotics, computer science and artificial intelligence (AI) will become more and more important. Furthermore, novel and innovative products and services will be necessary to develop the economy sustainably. In order to enable such products young people with knowledge and skills in robotics and AI will be needed. An appropriate developed labour market will significantly contribute to the strategic goals (smart, sustainable, inclusive growth) given by the underlying cooperation programme. Novel ideas and improved human capital enable companies to generate qualitative jobs in the project region. All this will contribute to the strategic goals as well as the operative goal of strengthening the labour market. In order to achieve this we propose to establish a standardized training and certification system for young people in the areas of robotics and AI. The training will be on a high professional level allowing the young people to develop an exceptional and satisfying career. A professional certification system similar to the ECDL as well as the involvement of stakeholders (educational institutions, public institutions, companies, …) in the project development will foster a great acceptance of the provided training system and will also allow companies and educational institutions to recognize the obtained skills of young people. The "train the trainer" approach will allow to roll out the system in the entire project region. Because the above problems exist in all areas of the project region such a project needs to be developed in a cross-border fashion.

Die zukünftige Entwicklung von Wirtschaft, Wohlstand und Lebensqualität in Europa hängt stark von nachfolgenden Faktoren ab. Moderne Prozesse und Methoden sind essentiell für global wettbewerbsfähige Produkte. Moderne Produktion als Zusammenspiel von Robotik und Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) werden immer bedeutender. Darüber hinaus werden neue, innovative Produkte und Services notwendig sein, um eine nachhaltige Wirtschaftsentwicklung zu gewährleisten. Um solche Produktentwicklungen zu ermöglichen, werden junge Menschen mit fundiertem Wissen und entsprechenden Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Robotik und KI benötigt. Ein entsprechend entwickelter Arbeitsmarkt trägt daher zu den strategischen Zielen des Kooperationsprogrammes (intelligentes, nachhaltiges, integratives Wachstum) entscheidend bei. Neue Ideen und verbessertes Humankapital ermöglichen es aber auch Unternehmen qualitative Arbeitsplätze in der Region zu schaffen. All dies trägt schließlich sowohl zur Erfüllung der strategischen Ziele als auch des operativen Programmziels (Stärkung des Arbeitsmarktes) bei. Um dies zu erreichen, planen wir die Einführung eines standardisierten Ausbildungssystems für junge Menschen in den Bereichen Robotik und KI. Die Ausbildung erfolgt auf hohem Niveau, um jungen Menschen eine außergewöhnliche und befriedigende Karriere zu ermöglichen. Ein professionelles Zertifizierungssystem, ähnlich dem des ECDL, sowie die Einbindung von Stakeholdern (Bildungseinrichtungen, öffentliche Institutionen, Unternehmen) in die Projektentwicklung sollen die Akzeptanz des Ausbildungssystems und der erworbenen Fähigkeiten der jungen Menschen vonseiten der Unternehmen und weiterer Bildungseinrichtungen gewährleisten. Das Konzept „Train the Trainer“ ermöglicht es, das System in der gesamten Projektregion einzuführen. Da die oben beschriebenen Herausforderungen das gesamte Programmgebiet betreffen, ist es unumgänglich dieses Projekt in einer grenzüberschreitenden Weise umzusetzen.

Az európai gazdaság jövőbeni fejlődése, az életminőség javulása nagymértékben függ a következő tényezőktől. A versenyképes termékek előállításához globális szinten korszerű folyamatokra és módszerekre van szükség, amelyben az intelligens megoldások, mint a robotika, a számítógép-tudomány és a mesterséges intelligencia fontos és meghatározó szerepet játszanak. A fenntartható gazdasági fejlődéshez új, innovatív termékekre és szolgáltatásokra van szükség. Ezeknek a céloknak az eléréséhez olyan fiatal szekemberekre van szükség, akik jártasak a robotikában és rendelkeznek a mesterséges intelligencia ismereteivel. Az ilyen, igények szerinti, közös munkával kifejlesztett munkaerőpiac jelentősen járul hozzá a stratégiai célok (intelligens, fenntartható növekedés) eléréséhez. Az új ötletek és a korszerű ismeretekkel rendelkező emberi tőke képessé teszi a régió vállalatait, hogy minőségi munkahelyeket hozzanak létre. Mindez nemcsak a stratégiai célok megvalósításához járulk hozzá, de a munkaerőpiac operatív céljait is megvalósítja. Ezen célok eléréséhez a robotika és a mesterséges intelligencia területére egy szabványos oktatási és vizsgáztatási rendszert dolgozunk ki a fiatalok számára. A magas szakmai színvonalú képzéssel a fiatalok előtt egy kivételes karrier áll. Az ECDL-vizsgarendszerhez hasonló képzési és vizsgáztatási rendszer kkidolgozása nemcsak a projektben érdekelt képzési intézmények számára fointos, de a fiatalok által megszerzett ismeretek iránti komoly elvárásokra és elfogadásra számítunk a vállalkozások részéről is. A "tanítsd az oktatót" elv lehetzővé teszi, hogy a rendszert az egész régió területére kiterjesszük. Tekintettel arra, hogy a fentiekben leírt problémák a projekt teljes területére kiterjednek, ezért indokolt egy határokon átnyúló projekt indítása.

Achievements (EN):

Within the scope of project EDLRIS (European Driving License for Robots and Intelligent Systems) a standardized, cross-border training and certification system for trainers (teachers, mentors, lectures) and trainees (school students from 15 years of age, students and bachelor level, young people) in the areas of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been developed. The system comprises curricula and teaching material and is structured in four modules, which can be completed independently of each other: Robotics Basic and Advanced as well as Artificial Intelligence Basic and Advanced. The modules are integrated into a unified learning management system (LMS) and are designed as blended-learning units, comprising face-to-face and online timeslots. Each module concludes with a certification exam comprising comprehension questions and practical tasks. The certification system is integrated into the LMS. A number of trainings and certifications for trainers and trainees has been conducted in Austria and Hungary. As planned, further EDLRIS courses have been conducted by certified trainers directly in schools. In accordance with the project specific goals - the development, the broad distribution and a high acceptance of the EDLRIS training and certification system - in total 570 persons have been trained in one or more modules and 308 have been certified within the project duration (as of May 2020). In sum 44 courses were held at different locations and institutions in Austria and Hungary, where 245 trainers and 325 trainees have been trained in one or more modules. By utilizing a train-the-trainer approach and by the active integration of an advisory board - comprising representatives of industry, politics, research and education (AVL, Knapp, Magna, IGM, Nemak, SMC, Audi HU, PIA Automation, incubedIT, Node RED, KML Vision, Federal Ministry of Education Austria, Digital Pedagogical Methodology Center, Edutus College, ECDL Foundation, VHS Mariahilf, DaVinic Lab, Acodemie, Council for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien) - a broad dissemination and high acceptance of the EDLRIS training and certification system has been achieved. In addition, further companies, small and medium enterprises and institutions have acknowledged the EDLRIS training and certification system (proven by letters of acknowledgement from ARTI Robotics, Bit Media, Bravogroup, Clearvision, DXC, LieberLieber, SSI Schaefer, PIA, Knapp, Sparx, Wals, Ministry of Education). A number of specific communication activities ensured a sufficiently high level of awareness among the target groups and stakeholder (just to name a few communication events: annual RoboCupJunior and FLL Robotics Events in Austria and Hungary, annual InfoEra Teacher Conferences in Hungary and Interpädagogica Teaching Fairs in Austria, European Robotics Forum 2019 + 2020, International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2019, World Robotics Olympiad 2019 in Hungary, Frontiers in Education Conference 2019, etc.). The large number of participants as well as the demand for further trainings highlight these aspects. Ultimately, the project therefore contributes to the strategic goals as well as the operative goal (strengthening the labour market) of the cooperation programme. The general challenge, that young people will need new skills and qualifications, is not limited to local areas, but must be viewed in a European context. In order to generate a significant impact on the human capital and the labour market, this challenge has to be addressed by a cooperation between different regions and countries. Since it is planned to implement the EDLRIS training and certification system in further program areas and European regions after project end, a cross-border development and evaluation was vital. The necessity of a cross-border cooperation was also given by the complementary competences of the project partner. On the one hand the partners provided expertise in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, didactics, development of online teaching material as well as certification of skills. On the other hand, the partners are responsible for the implementation of the ECDL in Austria and Hungary for many years. Based on these experiences, the development of a cross-border accepted certification was facilitated. The training and certification is acknowledged in both countries. This leads to an increased mobility and job prospect of young people in IT, engineering and information management. In the context of sustainability and due to the high demand, the project partners will continue to conduct trainer trainings as well as certifications for trainers and trainees.

Achievements (DE):

Im Rahmen des Projekts EDLRIS (European Driving License for Robots and Intelligent Systems) wurde ein standardisiertes, grenzüberschreitendes Ausbildungs- und Zertifizierungssystem für Trainer (LehrerInnen, MentorInnen, Lehrende) und Trainees (SchülerInnen ab 15 Jahren, Studierende, junge Menschen) für die Bereiche Robotik und Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) entwickelt. Das System umfasst Curricula und Lernmaterial und gliedert sich grundsätzlich in 4 Module, welche unabhängig voneinander absolviert werden können: Robotics Basic und Advanced sowie Artificial Intelligence Basic und Advanced. Die Module sind als blended-learning Einheiten konzipiert und umfassen sowohl Präsenz- als auch Online-Einheiten, integriert in ein einheitliches Learning Management System (LMS). Jedes Modul wird mit einer Zertifikatsprüfung, welche Verständnisfragen und praktische Aufgaben umfasst, und in das LMS eingegliedert ist, abgeschlossen. In der Projektlaufzeit wurde eine Reihe von Trainings und Zertifizierungen für Trainer und Trainees in Österreich und Ungarn durchgeführt. Wie geplant wurden EDLRIS Kurse in weiterer Folge von zertifizierten Trainern bereits direkt an Schulen umgesetzt. Im Sinne der Projektziele - der Entwicklung, der weiten Verbreitung und der hohen Akzeptanz des EDLRIS Ausbildungs- und Zertifizierungssystems - wurden in der Projektlaufzeit, mit Stand Mai 2020, in Summe 570 Personen in einem oder mehreren Modulen trainiert, wovon schließlich 308 zertifiziert wurden. In 44 Kursen an verschiedenen Standorten und an verschiedenen Institutionen in Österreich und Ungarn wurden somit 245 Trainer und 325 Trainees in einem oder mehreren Modulen ausgebildet. Durch die Implementierung des Train-the-Trainer Ansatzes im Projekt EDLRIS und die aktive Einbindung des Advisory Boards - mit Vertretern aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Forschung und Bildung (AVL, Knapp, Magna, IGM, Nemak, SMC, Audi HU, PIA Automation, incubedIT, Node RED, KML Vision, Federal Ministry of Education Austria, Digital Pedagogical Methodology Center, Edutus College, ECDL Foundation, VHS Mariahilf, DaVinic Lab, Acodemie, Council for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien) - wurde eine weite Verbreitung und große Akzeptanz des Ausbildungssystems erwirkt. Zusätzlich haben weitere Firmen, KMUs und Institutionen ihre Akzeptanz des EDLRIS Training und Zertifizierungssystems mittels eines Letter of Acknowledgement bestätigt (ARTI Robotics, Bit Media, Bravogroup, Clearvision, DXC, LieberLieber, SSI Schaefer, PIA, Knapp, Sparx, Wals, Ministry of Education). Eine Reihe von gezielten Kommunikationsmaßnahmen sorgte für einen angemessen hohen Bekanntheitsgrad innerhalb der Zielgruppen und Stakeholder (darunter unter anderem Kommunikationsevents: jährliche RoboCupJunior and FLL Robotics Events in AT und HU, jährliche InfoEra Teacher Conferences in HU and Interpädagogica Teaching Fairs in AT, European Robotics Forum 2019 + 2020, International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2019, World Robotics Olympiad 2019 in HU, Frontiers in Education Conference 2019, etc.). Die hohen Teilnehmerzahlen und Nachfragen nach weiteren Trainings unterstreichen diese Aspekte. In Summe trägt das Projekt somit sowohl zur Erfüllung der strategischen Ziele als auch des operativen Programmziels, u.a. der Stärkung des Arbeitsmarktes, bei. Das grundsätzliche Problem, dass junge Menschen künftig neue Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen benötigen, beschränkt sich nicht auf lokale Gebiete, sondern muss europaweit betrachtet werden. Um einen entscheidenden Einfluss auf das Humankapital und den Arbeitsmarkt zu generieren, muss das Problem durch die Zusammenarbeit verschiedener Regionen in Angriff genommen werden. Da das EDLRIS Trainings- und Zertifizierungssystem nach dem Projektende auch in weiteren Programmgebieten bzw. in weiteren Regionen Europas eingeführt werden soll (einige erste Implementierungen außerhalb des Programgebiets bzw. international wurden bereits vorgenommen), war es unumgänglich das System bereits in einer grenzüberschreitenden Weise zu entwickeln und zu testen. Die Notwendigkeit einer grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit ergab sich zudem aus den sich ergänzenden Expertisen und Schwerpunkten der Projektpartner. So wiesen die Partner einerseits spezielle Expertisen in den Bereichen Robotik, Künstliche Intelligenz, Didaktik, Erstellung von Online-Lehrmaterial sowie Zertifizierung von Kompetenzen auf. Andererseits zeichneten die Partner bereits seit vielen Jahren für die Abwicklung der ECDL-Zertifizierungen in Österreich und Ungarn verantwortlich. Auf Basis dieser Erfahrung war es im Rahmen des Projekts möglich, eine grenzüberschreitend anerkannte Zertifizierung zu entwickeln. Diese in beiden Ländern akzeptierte Ausbildung und Zertifizierung wird in weiterer Folge zur Mobilität und Erhöhung der Jobchancen junger Menschen beitragen. Dies ist vor allem auch hinsichtlich der bereits gesteigerten Mobilität junger Menschen in den Bereichen IT, Engineering und Informationsmanagement zwischen Österreich und Ungarn von enormer Bedeutung. In Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit und aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage werden die Projektpartner an den Standorten weiterhin Trainings für Trainer sowie Zertifizierungen für Trainer und Trainees anbieten und durchführen.

Az EDLRIS (European Driving License for Robots and Intelligent Systems = európai jogosítvány robot és intelligens rendszerekre) projekt keretében egy szabványosított, több országra érvényes képzési és minősítési rendszer került kialakításra mind a képzést végzők (tanárok, mentorok, oktatók), mind a képzésben résztvevők (tanulók 15 éves kortól, középiskolások, egyetemisták és érdeklődő fiatalok) a robotika és a mesterséges intelligencia témakörében. A rendszer tantervet és részletes tréning anyagot foglal magába négy modulba szervezve: Robotika Alap/Haladó, Mesterséges Intelligencia Alap/Haladó (Robotics Basic/Advanced, Artificial Intelligence Basic/Advanced), s ezek a részek egymástól függetlenül tanulhatók. A modulok egy egységes tanítást kezelő rendszerbe (Learning Management System = LMS) integráltak, és vegyes, tantermi és online szakaszokat is magukban foglaló tanítási modellre tervezettek. A modulok minősítő vizsgával záródnak, ami összetett kérdések és gyakorlati feladatok megoldását igényli. A minősítő vizsga is az LMS-be integrált. A projekt során Ausztriában és Magyarországon számos tréningre került sor, és a további képzéseket elvégezni tudó tanárok egy csoportjának a minősítése is megtörtén. A tervek szerint további EDLRIS tanfolyamok valósulhatnak a már minősített tanárok által vezetve. A projekt céljainak megfelelően a fejlesztést az EDLRIS tréning és minősítés magas széleskörű terítése és elfogadtatása követte, így 570 személy vett részt egy vagy több modulos képzésen, 308-an szereztek minősítést a projekt időtartama alatt (2020 májusig bezárólag). Összesen 44 tanfolyamra került sor különböző helyszíneken, intézményekben Ausztriában és Magyarországon 245 tanát és 325 tanult elérve. Az alapoktatók képzésén (train-the-trainer) alapuló megközelítéssel, akik további oktatókat tudnak betanítani, és a - ipar, politika, kutatás és oktatás képviselőiből álló (AVL, Knapp, Magna, IGM, Nemak, SMC, Audi HU, PIA Automation, incubedIT, Node RED, KML Vision, Federal Ministry of Education Austria, Digital Pedagogical Methodology Center, Edutus College, ECDL Foundation, VHS Mariahilf, DaVinic Lab, Acodemie, Council for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien) - tanácsadó testület aktív bevonásával az EDLRIS tréning és minősítési rendszer széles elterjesztését és magas szintű elfogadottságát sikerült elérni. Ezen kívül más vállalatok, kis- és középvállalkozások és intézmények is megismerték az EDLRIS képzési és minősítési rendszert (ARTI Robotics, Bit Media, Bravogroup, Clearvision, DXC, LieberLieber, SSI Schaefer, PIA, Knapp, Sparx, Wals, Ministry of Education). Az ismertséget növelte a kiterjedt kommunikációs tevékenység is. A média megjelenéseken túl az érintettek körének bővítését szélesítették következő a célcsoportba tartozó résztvevőket elérő szakmai eseményeken és való megjelenések: RoboCupJunior, FLL Robotics Events (AT, HU), InfoEra Teacher Conferences (HU), Interpädagogica Teaching Fairs (AT), European Robotics Forum 2019 + 2020, International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2019, World Robotics Olympiad 2019 (HU), Frontiers in Education Conference 2019, etc. Az eseményeket látogató nagyszámú résztvevő és a további tréning igények is alátámasztják a széleskörű ismertséget és elismertséget. Összeségében a projekt hozzájárul a kooperációs program mind a stratégiai mind az operatív (a munkaerő piac megerősítése) céljaihoz. Az az általános kihívás, hogy az ifjúság számára új készségek és kvalifikációk szükségesek, nem korlátozódik csak a projekt lokalitására, hanem azt egész európai kontextusban kell ezt szemlélnünk. Az, hogy szélesebb körű hatást gyakoroljunk az emberi erőforrásfejlesztésre és a munkaerő piacra, azt a kihívást is jelenti, hogy különböző régiókban, országok együttműködésében megjelenjenek ezek az felismerések és eredmények. Az EDLRIS tréning és minősítő rendszert kezdetektől úgy terveztük, hogy a kialakított módszer és gyakorlat további programokban és Európa más régióiban is megvalósulhassanak, s ehhez a határokon átnyúló fejlesztés és értékelés példája alapvető fontosságú. A határokon átnyúló kooperáció adott és szükséges volt a projekt résztvevők egymást kiegészítő kompetenciái miatt. Egyrészt a két országbeli partnerek megosztva biztosították a robotika, mesterséges intelligencia, didaktika, online tanítási anyagok fejlesztésével és a minősítésekkel kapcsolatos tudásokat. Másrészt a projektben levő partnerek végzik sok éve az ECDL képzést valamint a minősítést rendszerének fenntartását és működtetését Ausztriában és Magyarországon. Ezek a tapasztalatok megkönnyítették a több országban egyaránt elfogadható tréning és minősítési rendszer kialakítását és elfogadtatását. Az ily módon bevezetett minősítés segítheti az ezt megszerző az infokommunikációs vagy a mérnöki és informatikai menedzsment területeken dolgozó fiatalok nagyobb, akár országok közti mobilitását és szabadabb munkahely választását. A program fenntarthatóságát biztosítja, hogy az igények tükrében a projekt résztvevői folytatják a tanfolyamok tartását, valamint a tanárok és hallgatók minősítését.
