Der Eiserne Vorhang teilte Europa für annähernd 40 Jahre in Ost und West. Entlang des ehemaligen Grenzstreifens entstand ein grünes Band. Seit einigen Jahren besteht die Initiative, das Europäische Grüne Band durch den 10.400 km langen Iron Curtain Trail zu erschließen. Zwischen Gmünd/Mor.Svätý Ján führt der 329 km lange beschilderte Abschnitt des Eurovelo 13 durch Österreich (Weinviertel und Waldviertel) und Tschechien (durch Kreis Südböhmen, Vysočina und Südmähren). Der Radweg erschließt Biotope der früheren Sperrzonen, die durch jahrzehntelange Nutzungsruhe und Abgeschiedenheit entstanden sind. Mit Ausnahme des UNESCO Weltkulturerbes Lednice/Valtice ist die Vielfalt an kulturellen und landschaftlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten noch nicht entsprechend entwickelt, genutzt und vermarktet. Mit der nachhaltigen und integrativen Inwertsetzung und Vernetzung des Kultur- und Naturerbes sowie die tourist. Aufbereitung für die umweltschonende Mobilitätsform Radfahren soll das Nächtigungsaufkommen in den betroffenen Regionen um 2 % erhöht werden (auf Basis 2015). Durch Storytelling soll europäische Geschichte, Politik, Natur und Kultur erlebbar gemacht werden. Touristische Leistungsträger in beiden Ländern sollen qualifiziert und vernetzt werden. Der daraus erzielte Marketing-Vorteil soll mit umfangreichen Marketingmaßnahmen für mehr Bekanntheit sorgen. So sollen 20 Mio. potenz. Gäste vom Radwegangebote erfahren, 40 Journalisten den Radweg besuchen, 200 Berichte in Medien über den Radweg erscheinen und 400.000 Zugriffe in 3 Jahren auf der Webseite erzielt werden. Zugänglichkeit und tourist. Aufbereitung des bestehenden Kultur- und Naturerbe wird verbessert. Das führt zur Belebung der Grenzregion, nachhaltigen Nutzung der Kultur- und Naturstätten, dem Aufbau von grenzüberschreitenden Partnerschaften samt Etablierung von Kommunikations- und Arbeitsstrukturen, Förderung einer gemeinsamen reg. Identität, Qualitätssteigerung durch einheitliche Standards bei Dienstleistungen für Radtouristen, Schaffung einer durchgehenden Dienstleistungskette (min. 200 Betriebe), Entwicklung von min. 10 grenzüberschreitenden Angeboten, Erhöhung der Besucherfrequenz am Radweg um 20 % und bei tourist. Leistungsträgern. Nur durch eine grenzüberschreitende Umsetzung wird für den Gast ein einheitliches Angebot gewährleistet. Der Radweg wechselt mehrmals zwischen Ö und CZ und erzählt die Geschichte der gleichen Region. Daher erfolgen Planung und Umsetzung (3 sprachig) gemeinsam und wird ein wesentlicher Teil vom Marketing als gemeinsam finanzierte Maßnahme umgesetzt. Zusätzlich gibt es Abstimmungen mit Partnern im Vorfeld und Anschluss des Abschnittes (OÖ, SK). Das grenzüberschreitende Storytelling wird zum ersten Mal in Ö und CZ als Kommunikationsmethode konsequent verwendet. Bei Navigation/Kommunikation werden modernsten Technologien für die digitatale Erlebbarkeit eingesetzt.

The Iron Curtain divided Europe for about 40 years into “East” and “West”. Along the former border arose the “Green Belt”. Since a couple of years there is the initiative to make the European Green Belt accessible through the 10.400 km long Iron Curtain Trail. Between Gmünd/Č.Velenice und Hohenau/Mor.Svätý Ján there leads the 329 km long signposted part of the Eurovelo 13 through Austria (Weinviertel and Waldviertel) and the Czech Republic (through South Bohemia, Vysočina and South Moravia). The cycle path makes biotops of the former restricted zones accessible, which appeared through the lack of usage and the isolation throughout decades. The diversity of cultural and natural sights is not yet developed, utilised and merchandised with the exception of the UNESCO word cultural heritage of Lednice/Valtice. With a sustainable and integrative valorisation and cross-linking of the cultural and natural heritage, as well as the touristic preparation for the environmentally friendly mobility form of cycling, the overnight stays are to be increased by 2% (based on 2015). The method of “storytelling” shall lead to an actual experience of the European history, politics, nature and culture. Touristic service providers in both countries are to be qualified and cross-linked. Through the achieved marketing advantage the knowledge of the trail shall be improved through other marketing initiatives. Through this, 20 million potential visitors shall learn about the cycle path, 40 journalists shall visit the path, 200 articles shall be published in the media and 400.000 website accesses shall be achieved. The accessibility and the touristic preparation of the existing cultural and natural heritage will be improved. This leads to a stimulation of the cross-border region, to a sustainable usage of the places of cultural and natural heritage, to the development of cross-border partnerships through the establishment of communication and working structures, the support of a mutual regional identity, an improvement in quality through unified standards in the sector of services for cycle tourists, the establishing of a continuous provision of services (200 businesses), the development of a minimum of 10 cross-border offers and the increasing of the number of visitors at the cycle path and service providers with about 20%. Through a cross-border realisation there is to be ensured, that the offers for the visitors have consistent quality. The cycle path alters between Austria and the Czech Republic and tells the story of one and the same region. Because of this, the planning and realisation will be undertaken together (in three languages) and a large part of the marketing will be realised as a mutual financed initiative. Also, there are already coordinations with partners and the connection of the trail in Lower Austria and Slowakia. The cross-border method of storytelling will be used in Austria and the Czech Republic for the first time as a consequent method of communication. For the digital experience there will be used the most modern technologies for navigation and communication.

Železná opona dělila Evropu přibližně 40 let na východní a západní část. Podél tohoto tehdejšího pohraničního pásma vznikl tzv. Zelený pás. Již několik let vznikají iniciativy zpřístupnit tento Zelený pás prostřednictvím 10.400 km trasy Iron Curtail Trail. Mezi Gmündem/Č. Velenicemi a Hohenau/Mor. Svätým Jánom vede označený úsek EuroVelo 13 o délce 329 km územím Rakouska (regionem Weinviertel a Waldviertel) a ČR (přes kraj Jihočeský, Vysočina a Jihomoravský). Stezka odkrývá biotopy, procházející dřívější uzavřenou zónou, vzniklé díky desetiletí vynuceného klidu a odloučenosti. S výjimkou míst, patřících ke světovému kult. dědictví UNESCO (Lednice či Valtice), není rozmanitost kult. a krajinných pamětihodností a pozoruhodností této oblasti doposud odpovídajícím způsobem odhalena, užívána a uvedena na trh. Propojení a zhodnocení kult. a přír. dědictví společného regionu udržitelným způsobem prostřednictvím cykloturistiky, šetrné k životnímu prostředí, má za cíl přinést zvýšení počtu přenocování v obcích dotčeného regionu o 2% (srov. s 2015). Podél jednotl. tras mají být díky Storytellingu (vyprávění příběhů) přiblíženy dějiny evrop. historie, politiky, přírody a kultury. Poskytovatelé služeb v oboru turismus z obou zemí získají označení kvality a budou navzájem propojeni. Takto získaná marketingová výhoda bude využita v rámci obsáhlých market. opatření za účelem dosažení vyššího povědomí. Nabídka cyklostezky zasáhne 20 mil. potenc. hostů, stezku navštíví 40 žurnalistů, 200 příspěvků bude zveřejněno v médiích, předpokládá se 400.000 přístupů na web během 3 let. Vytvořením společných systémových propag. aktivit na podporu lokalit kult. a přír. dědictví podél cyklostezky EuroVelo 13 v území společného přeshraničního regionu s využitím potenciálu stezky Železné opony, dojde k oživení, zatraktivnění, rozvoji a dlouhodobému využívání tohoto území, k vytvoření přeshraničního parterství, pozvolnému zřízení komunikačních a pracovních struktur, podpoře společné regionální identity, zvýšení kvality díky jednot. standardům služeb cykloturistům, dosažených prostřed. řetězce poskyt. služeb (200 podniků). Dále pak rozvoj min. 10 přeshranič. nabídek, zvýšení frekvence na cyklostezce o 20 %. Vzhledem k tomu, že cyklostezka několikrát střídá trasu mezi Rakouskem a ČR a vypráví příběhy stejného regionu, může být návštěvníkům poskytnuta nabídka pouze prostř. přeshraniční spolupráce. Z toho důvodu bude prováděno spol. plánování a realizace zamýšlených kroků trojjazyčně. Společně bude realizována podstatná část market. nákladů v rámci společně financovaných opatření. Navíc mezi partnery existuje souhlas v rámci do budoucna zamýšlených kroků a také stran otázky připojení jednotlivých úseků. Přeshraniční Storytelling bude v AT a ČR jako komunikační metoda použit vůbec poprvé. Prostřednictvím emocionalizování nabídky vznikne výhradní postavení produktu na trhu. Při navigaci/komunikaci budou nasazeny nejmodernější prostředky digitálních technologií.

Achievements (DE): Im Rahmen des Interreg-Projektes ATCZ74 wurden 62 Infotafeln umgesetzt, die im Projektgebiet des Eisernen Vorhang-Radroute installiert wurden.

Mit der touristischen Inszenierung/Storytelling, Qualifizierung der Betriebe und Vermarktung als internationale Radroute sollen Nächtigungen in die Region erzielt werden (Steigerung im Projektverlauf um 2%). Es wird die Zusammenarbeit mit Reisevertanstalter angestrebt, mind. 3 Veranstalter führen Angebote zu ICT. Laut Studie im Auftrag des BM Leben zum Wirtschaftsfaktor Radfahren aus 2009 werden mit dem Radtourismus nachweislich Wertschöpfungseffekte erzielt und Arbeitsplätze gesichert. Das kulturelle und natürliche Erbe der Grenzregion AT - CZ entlang des Grünen Bandes zwischen Gmünd und Hohenau an der March soll nachhaltig in Wert gesetzt werden. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Betriebe sollen besser erschlossen, besser zugänglich gemacht und vermarktet werden. Das Grüne Band soll als Rückgrat eines einzigartigen Verbundes von Natur- und Kulturerbe auch für künftige Generationen als lebendiges Denkmal der Zeitgeschichte bewahrt und eine nachhaltige Tourismusentwicklung forciert werden.

Expected Outputs (CS):

Turistickým inscenováním příběhů, zvyšováním kvality podniků a uvedením na trh mezinárodní cyklistické stezky jako nabídky, má být dosaženo zvýšení počtu přenocování v regionu. (Cílem je zvýšení o 2%). Bude vytvořena snaha o spolupráci s organizatory turistic. akcí, min. 3 organizátoři přednesou nabídku k ICT. Dle studie, zadané rakouským spolk. ministerstvem Leben k hospodářskému faktoru „Cykloturistika“ z roku 2009, bylo prokazatelně doloženo, že prostřednictvím cykloturistiky bylo docíleno efektu zvýšení hodnoty regionu a zajištění pracovních míst. Kulturní a přírodní dědictví pohraničního regionu mezi AT - CZ. podél Zeleného pásu mezi Gmündem a Hohenau a.d.March má být dlouhodobě zhodnoceno. Pamětihodnosti a podniky mají být lépe rozvíjeny, zpřístupněny a lépe prosazeny na trhu. Zelený pás má za úkol sloužit jako páteř jedinečného spojení mezi přír. a kult. dědictvím také pro budoucí generace jako živoucí památník dějin a má napomáhat k dlouhodobému rozvoji turistiky v regionu.
