Description (EN):

The main goal of the project is the support of the cooperation and development of the cultural heritage locations, furthermore, the expansion of the attraction of cross-border region, the common activity of the town Šamorín and the St. Mór Benedictin e Prior in Győr as a result. The principal activities beside the renovation of the Koruna Building in Šamorín and the reconstruction of the St. Mór Prior building in Győr are common exhibitions, mutual conferences with religious and canonical topic, creating choral meetings. These events in both towns will take place and will be well integrated, thus in Győr as the opening event and in Šamorín as closing conference. The expected results of the project are the significantly increased number of the visitors arriving from the neighbouring countries on both sides of the border, establishing a mutual cultural strategy with 8 cultural programs a year, and ensuring overall 1500 visitors a year on both sides of the border concerning the developm ent attractions. The target group of the conjoined conferences and workshops is nearly 400 people, students of the senior classes of elementary schools, of secondary schools, the participants and representatives of the Slovak-Hungarian cross border canonical life, and last but not least the residents and visitors of Šamorín and Györ region. The reconstruction of the Koruna building also enables establishing a tourist information office in the heart of the town, where the number of visitors ex ceeds 1000 people and which would significantly contribute to increasing the tourism.

Hlavným cieľom projektu je rozvoj spolupráce v oblasti kultúry, a pomocou spoločných aktivít medzi Šamorínom a Svätým Bencér Mórom v Győri zvýšiť atraktivitu prihraničného regiónu. Hlavné aktivity projektu sú nasledovné: rekonštrukcia budovy Koruny v Šamoríne a rekonštrukcia budovy Svätého Bencés Mór v Győri, vytvorenie stálych výstav v rámci rekonštruovaných budov, organizovanie spoločných konferencií cirkevo - kultúrnou tematikou, workshopov a vystúpenia spoločných speváckych zborov. Tieto udalosti sa uskutočnia vo spojení prihraničných partnerov, pričom otváracia konferencia bude v Győri a ukončovacia bude v Šamoríne. Výsledkom projektu bude značné zvýšenie návštevnosti z druhej strany hranice, vybudovanie strategickej spolupráce v oblasti kultúry pomocou 8 spoločných podujatí ročne, a zabezpečenie ročne 1500 návštevníkov na výstavách na obidvoch stranách hranice. Cieľová skupina spoločných konferencií je približne 400 osôb z radov základných škôl, stredných škôl, zástupcov cirkevného života a nie v poslednom rade obyvatelia a návštevníci okolia Šamorína a Győru. Rekonštrukcia objektu Koruny v srdci Šamorína umožňuje vybudovanie kultúrno - turistickej informačnej kancelárie, ktorej návštevnosť bude ročne min 1000 ľudí, čo bude mať veľký vplyv na rozvoj cestovného ruchu.

A projekt fő célkitűzésé a kulturális örökségi helyszínek együttműködésének és fejlesztésének támogatása, továbbá a határmenti térség vonzerejének növelése Somorja város és a győri Szent Mór Bencés Perjelség közös tevékenysége eredményeként. A projekt főtevékenységei a somorjai Korona épületének felújítása és a győri Szent Mór Perjeség épületének rekonstrukciója mellett, közös kiállítások, közös vallási-egyházi tematikájú konferenciák, kórustalálkozók létrehozása. Ezen rendezvények a két városban egymást jól kiegészítve kerülnek megrendezésre, így Győrben a projekt nyitórendezvénye , illetve Somorján a zárókonferenciája. A projekt várt eredményi a szomszédos országból érkező látogatók számának jelentös emelkedése a határ mindkét oldalán, közös kultúrális stratégiai együttműködés megteremtése évi 8 kultúrprogram keretén belül, és a határ mindkét oldalán a fejlesztéssel érintett atrakcióknak együttesen évi 1500 látogató bebiztosítása. A közös konferenciák és workshopok célcsoporta közel 400 fő, alapiskolák felsötagozatos diákjai, középiskolák diákjai, Szlovák-Magyar határmenti terület egyházi élet résztvevői és képviselöi, és nem utolsó sorban a Somorja és Györ vidék lakossága és látogatói. A Korona épület rekonstrukciója lehetővé teszi a város szivében egy kultúrális turisztiai információs iroda létrehozását, melynek évi látogatói meghaladhatják az 1000 fős létszámot is, és amely nagyban hozzájárul a turizmus noveléséhez.

The main goal of the project is the support of the cooperation and development of the cultural heritage locations, furthermore, the expansion of the attraction of cross-border region, the common activity of the town Šamorín and the St. Mór Benedictine Prior in Győr as a result. The principal activities beside the renovation of the Koruna Building in Šamorín and the reconstruction of the St. Mór Prior building in Győr are common exhibitions, mutual conferences with religious and canonical topic, creating choral meetings. Thanks to the project were organized, twice three-day workshops in Slovakia for 30 primary school students focusing on the natural values of the Danube region, twice a two-day workshop for 60 secondary school students in Hungary entitled “the life of the religious orders in the 21st century”. In addition to the workshops, we organized ta wo, very successfully common choirs concerts and a large conference focusing on the future of monasteries building for 60 participants. In the reconstructed monastery building in Šamorín will be open the tourism formation center, where the created touristic products (pre-arranged full program of day trips within the region) will be presented for visitors.

1, null. 2, null. 3, Tangible outcomes: 1x Conference. 4, Tangible outcomes: 2*2 day workshop for 60 participants. 5, Tangible outcomes: 2 days meeting in Šamorín, and 1 concert in Győr and 1 concert in Šamorín. 6, Tangible outcomes: 2-page SK/HU and 2-page D/A leaflets -professional material with 10 pictures, 1 x 1000 pieces(SK/HU) 1x 1000 pieces D/A, 2 maps, sample trip for 40 people, which aim is the promotion of the product for the participants of the tourist and cultural life on both sides of the border. 7, Tangible outcomes: 1x renovation. 8, Tangible outcomes: Introducing the natural values along the Danube by kayaking, exploring the Little-Danube floodplains, dragon boating, lectures about nature protection, introducing the traditions along the Danube reviving the ancient crafts.(e.g. gold panning). 9, Tangible outcomes: complete and professional restoration of the frescoes and stuccoes of the old pharmacy and the two refectories (monastery dining rooms, furthermore related wood conservation works of various objects in the great refectory according to the conservating/restorating plans attached. 10, Tangible outcomes: Replacing/conservating the flooring, replacing 5 windows, installing a complete new lighting system fulfilling highest requirements of the precious surfaces in the pharmacy and the refectories. Installing means of museum informatics. All interventions detailed in the architectural plan attached.
