Description (EN): The current project „Helping natural forests together“ is continuation of the successful HU-SK FOR FORESTS in the border regions.This project further strengthens the cooperation between the Slovak and Hungarian state forest managements, connects the regional initials for the environmental development of the forest managements and cooperating regions.In the framework of the project partners plan to transform the homogeneous forests of the same age to native, heterogeneous forests with more specie s.Professional content of the project is the implementation of silvicultural activities and forest protection measures which can result that forests can fulfill permanently their economic, defense and social tasks demanded by the society. At Ipoly Erdő Zrt. the acacia stocks – in the hills and highlands- threaten the native forests in large areas, as native heritage. In the project we plan to transform the acacia stocks to indigenous,natural oak and tern stocks, for which new technological pro cess is intended to achieve. During forest education LESY SR plans the continuos help of indigenous species of trees in such a way, that it removes unwanted shrubs and tree species by new technical solutions in the forest care. With the implementati on of the project forest playground, new nature trail, open-air resting place and places to visit are carried out. The domestic and cross-border tourism will grow.The implemented silvicultural works will be beneficial in more than 1000 ha forest area . 3,8 km „Green way” is created in the project framework. By the implmentation of the communication plan articles are published about the project.Local TV report, information boards,tri-lingual subsite, banners help the popularization of the project and the INTERREG Programme. By the common and mutual promotion we increase the number of cross-border visitors in the concerned areas (yearly by appr.3000 persons).More local residents will also spend their leisure time in the nicer forests locally.
Read more Description (SK): Pokračovaním úspešného cezhraničného projektu HU-SK je súčasný projekt „Spoločné napomáhanie prirodzených lesov“. Tento projekt prispieva k ďalšiemu prehlbovaniu spolupráce medzi slovenskými a maďarskými lesníkmi , spája regionálne iniciatívy partnerov v záujme rozvoja lesného hospodárstva a vidieka. V rámci projektu partneri plánujú zmeniť rovnoveké lesy s rovnakou štruktúrou na pôvodné, zmiešané a rôznoveké lesné spoločenstvá. Výsledkom projektu bude realizácia takých pestovných a ochranných opatrení, ktoré zaistia požiadavky spoločnosti na trvalo udržateľný hospodársky rozvoj, na ochranné a celospoločenské funkcie. Agátové porasty, ktoré zaberajú značné územia svahov a pohorí u Ipoly Erdő Zrt. ohrozujú pôvodné lesné spoločenstvá, ako prírodné dedičstvo, projekt rieši realizáciou nových technológií a postupov prevod týchto agátových porastov na pôvodné dubiny a ceriny. LESY SR za účelom podporenia pôvodných drevín uskutoční špeciálne postupy v procese pestovných prác, ktorými sa odstránia nežiadúce kroviny a druhy. Spolu s realizáciou projektu vzniknú v Maďarsku a na Slovensku lesné ihriská, nový náučný chodník, lesné odpočívadlo a rekreačné miesta. Vzrastie tuzemská aj cezhraničná turistika. Pestovné práca budú zamerané na lesné porasty na ploche viac ako 1000 ha. V rámci projekt vznikne 3,8 km dlhá „zelená cesta“. V súvislosti s realizáciou projektu bude zabezpečená aj publicita článkami o projekte, vysielaním v miestnej televízii, informačnými tabuľami, webovou trojjazyčnou stránkou a banery tiež budú pomáhať pri zverejňovaní projektu a programu INTERREG. Vzájomnou propragáciou na dotknutom území zvýšime návštevnosť (ročne o 3000 osôb). V krajších lesoch v mieste bydliska bude mať možnosť viac obyvateľov na oddych a rekreáciu.
Read more Description (HU): A határmenti régiókban a sikeres HU-SK FOR FORESTS pályázat folytatása a jelenlegi pályázat a „Együtt a természetes erdőkért“. Ez projekt tovább erősíti az együttműködést a szlovák és a magyar állami erdőgazdálkodók között, összeköti a regionális kezdeményezéseket az erdőgazdaságok és az együttműködő régiók környezeti fejlesztése érdekében. A partnerek a projekt keretében átalakítani tervezik a homogén, egykorú erdőket őshonos, több fafajból álló, heterogén erdőállományokra. A projekt szakmai tartalma olyan erdőművelési munkák és erdővédelmi intézkedések megvalósítása, amely eredményeképpen az erdő tartamosan tudja betölteni a társadalom által igényelt gazdasági, védelmi és közjóléti szerepét. Az Ipoly Erdő Zrt-nél az akác állományok -domb és hegyvidéken- nagy területen veszélyeztetik az őshonos erdőket, mint természeti örökséget, a pályázatban az akác állományok őshonos, természetszerű tölgy és cser állományokká történő átalakítását tervezik, amelyhez újszerű technológiai folyamatot kívánnak megvalósítani. A LESY SR az erdőnevelés során az őshonos fafajok folyamatos megsegítését tervezi, olymódon, hogy az erdőápolási technológiában speciális megoldásokkal távolítja el a nemkívánatos cserjéket és fafajokat. A pályázat megvalósításával Magyarországon és Szlovákiában erdei játszótér, új tanösvény, erdei pihenő és kiránduló helyek létesülnek. A belföldi és a határon átnyúló turista forgalom nő. Több mint 1000 ha erdőterületre lesz jótékony hatása az elvégzett erdőművelési munkáknak. 3,8 km hosszú "zöld út" létesül a pályázat keretében. A kommunikációs terv végrehajtásával több cikk jelenik meg a projektről, helyi TV riport, tájékoztató táblák, három nyelvű alhonlap, bannerek segíti a pályázat és az INTERREG program népszerűsítését. A közös és kölcsönös propagációval az érintett területeken a határmenti látogatók számát növeljük (évente mintegy 3000 fővel). A szebb erdőkkel több helyi lakos is helyben fogja eltölteni a szabadidejét.
Read more Achievements (EN): The current project “Helping natural forests together” was a continuation of the successful HU-SK FOR FORESTS project in border regions. This project contributed to the further deepening of cooperation between Slovak and Hungarian foresters and brought together regional initiatives of partners in the interest of forestry and rural development.
During the two-year implementation process, partners sought to transform homogeneous existing forests into natural multi-species heterogeneous forest stands. Activities of the project were the implementation of such silviculture and protection measures that will ensure the requirements of society for sustainable economic development and for protection and social functions of forests.
Black locust stands that occupy large areas of slopes and mountains at Ipoly Erdő Zrt. endanger the natural forests, as a natural heritage. The project solves conversion of these black locust stands to the original oaks and Turkey oak stands by implementing new technologies and procedures. Hungarian foresters transforms about 1,000 hectares of black locust stands in 11 cadastres, and more than 500,000 oak seedlings were planted on 46 hectares. Thanks to the project, the youth generation can explore the world of the forest on wooden playground with the theme of life in the forest.
Thanks to the project, the youth generation can explore the world of the forest on wooden playground with the theme of life in the forest. The small forest playground of Ipoly Erdő Zrt. was built next to the village of Csővár, in a wonderful forest environment, opposite the Csővár castle.
Foresters of LESY SR continuously support the natural tree species by removing undesirable tree species and shrubs, managing increased target tree species protection against weed and forest animals and creating better life condition for their growth.
LESY SR created a forestry educational path not far from Banská Štiavnica, around Lake Počúvadlo.
Through the implementation of the project, forest playgrounds, a new educational trail, a forest rest area and recreational places were set up in Hungary and Slovakia, thanks to which the partners are convinced that domestic and cross-border tourism will increase and visitors will gain a knowledge about forest and foresters´ work.
