Palócút cultural Tourism Cluster Association as a cultural thematic route in the Hungarian-Slovak border region, Podpolanie Cultural route planner, DC DETVA Founation for Preservation of Traditional Values, Slovak National Museum and municipalities o f Hrusov and Vanyarc are putting forward a joint proposal. The common objective is to utilise the cultural traditions and natural values of the border region, to develop and connect new and current attractions and thematic routes, to create sustainab le and family friendly tourism product sets, and the organisation necessary to manage the „Palócföld - Hont - Podpol'anie – Cultural Heritage Thematic Route”. Target groups: 1.) Tourists, especially from the neigbouring country 2.) Population of the region Our objectives - sustaining and improving attendance in order to increase the number of visitors by 10% - - investments providing new functions, - comprehensive resource survey of the region, and based on this - the creation of a joint cultur al thematic route. New supply elements will be developed thanks to the project. Open workshops, travelling exhibitions, new thematic routes for hikers, cyclists and car drivers with smart map application. Programme packages connecting cultural and na tural values. New permanent exhibitions in the area and organisation of 10 major events. We establish 15 playgrounds with traditional games and bicycle rentals on those settlements in which family- and visitor friendly services are absent. Our joint task is to make marketable products of current attractions, and to put together programme packages; to group events into unified series of programmes, new visual identity, brand building, introduction of trademark system, joint marketing activities, information points, printed and online marketing, travel film, exhibition participation, scientific research, publicity and knowledge transfer complete the project.

V maďarsko- slovenskej pohraničnej oblasti podajú spoločný projekt: Združenie Palócút Turisztikai Klaszter, Podpolanie- DC Detva, Hagyományos Értékek Megőrzéséért Alapítvány, ďalej obce Hrušov, Dolná Strehová a Vanyarc- Venarec. Našim spoločným cieľom je zlepšovať využívanie už existujúcich a nových turistických atrakcií, kulturných tradícií a prírodných hodnôt. Ďalším našim spoločným plánom je rozvíjanie a pripojenie tematických ciest, vytvorenie turistického balíčka pre rodiny s deťmi a vytvorenie k tomu potrebného organizačného systému. Naše ciele chceme realizovať v projekte s názvom „Palócföld - Hont - Podpol'anie - Hagyományőrző Tematikus Út”- „ Palóc- Hont- Podpoľanie- Tradičná tematická cesta”. Cieľové skupiny: 1.obyvatelia oblasti; 2. turisti, najmä návštevníci zo susedných krajín Stanovené ciele- s ohľadom na zvýšenie atraktívnosti oblasti a na zvýšenie počtu návštevníkov o 10%: - Investície s novými funkciami, - Prieskum hodnôt, na základe ktorého, - Vytvorenie kultúrno-tradičnej tematickej cesty. Tieto vylepšenia vytvoria aj nové zložky: - Workshopvy, putovné výstavy, vytvorenie aplikácií schopný umožňujúcich naplánovanie tematických chodníkov pre pešiu turistiku, cykloturistiku a automobilovej verzie, vytvorenie programových balíčkov na rozvoj a spájanie kultúrnych a prírodných hodnôt. Oblasť sa obohatí novou stálou expozíciou, plánujeme organizovať 10 veľkých akcií/udalosti, vybudujeme 15 tradičných ihrísk, vytvoríme možnosť vypožičiavaniu bicyklov v dedinách, kde ešte chýbajú rodinné programy a atrakcie pre turistov. Našou spoločnou úlohou je sprístupniť pre trh už existujúci potenciál, vytvorenie nových ponúk a balíka ponúk. Ďalej plánujeme: spájanie udalostí, spoločné marketingové aktivity, vytvorenie nového spoločného dizajnu, online marketing, cestopisný film, vedecký výskum, vytvorenie informačných bodov, publikácie a výmenu vedomostí pri dopĺňaní projektu.

A Magyar-szlovák határtérségben kulturális tematikus útként működő, PUKE, a Podpolanie Kulturális Utat tervező, DC DETVA, a HÉMA, valamint Hrusov, Dolna Strehova, Vanyarc önkormányzatai közös pályázatot nyújtanak be. Közös célunk a térség kulturális hagyományainak és természeti értékeinek jobb kihasználása, új és meglévő attrakciók, tematikus utak fejlesztése és összekapcsolása, fenntartható, családbarát turisztikai termékcsomag létrehozása, az ehhez szükséges szervezeti rendszer fejlesztése, amelyet jelen pályázatban „Palócföld-Hont- Podpol'anie-Hagyományőrző Tematikus Út” munkanéven említünk. Célcsoportok: 1.) A terület népessége, 2.) Turisták, kiemelten a szomszédos országból látogatók. Kitűzött céljaink–a terület vonzerejének és látogatószám 10%-os növelése érdekében a látogathatóságot megteremtő illetve javító-, - új funkciókat biztosító beruházásokat hajtunk végre, - teljessé válik a terület értékeinek feltárása, melyek alapján, - közös kulturális tematikus út létrehozása. A fejlesztések révén a kínálatban is újszerű elemek jönnek létre. Nyitott műhelyek, vándorkiállítások, okostérképes alkalmazással új tematikus útvonalak gyalogos, kerékpáros és autós változatban. A kulturális és természeti értékeket összekapcsoló programcsomagok kialakítása. Új állandó kiállításokkal is gazdagodik a terület, valamint 10 nagyrendezvényt szervezünk. 15 játszóudvar hagyományos játékeszközeit és a bicikli kölcsönzés lehetőségét azokra a településre helyezzük el, ahonnan még hiányoznak a család-, és látogatóbarát szolgáltatási elemek. Közös feladatunk a meglévő attrakciókból piacképes terméket, új és meglévő kínálati elemekből csomagajánlatokat összeállítani: Továbbá a rendezvények összekapcsolása egységes rendezvénysorozattá, új arculat, márkázás, arculattervezés, védjegy-rendszer bevezetése, közös marketing tevékenység, információs pontok kialakítása, print és online marketing, utifilm, kiállítási részvétel, tudományos kutatás, publikálás, tudásátadás egészíti ki a projektet.

Achievements (EN):

The common objective is to utilise the cultural traditions and natural values of the border region, to develop and connect new and current attractions and thematic routes, to create sustainable and family friendly tourism product sets. Palóc Út: 20 new thematic route offers, 20 programme package offers and 34 tourism package offers have been prepared along the Palóc Route. We established 15 playgrounds / playrooms. We purchased 15 period lace dresses. The online lace making programme has been prepared, demonstrating the preparation of simple lace making patterns. GUIDE@HAND mobile application, providing digital tour guide for users. We improved the application and integrated a point collection game into the interface. A travel movie and a 3D image film have been prepared about Palócland. Palóc Út received a new logo and visual identity within the project. Publications made: 5,000 copies of tour maps, 10,000 copies of leaflets for promoting thematic routes, 10,000 copies of joint publication on the member and partner settlements of Palóc Út (in Hungarian, English and Slovak languages). Vanyarc: 1.) SHOD EGGS MUSEUM AND OPEN CRAFT WORKSHOP – COMPELE RENOVATION AND CONSTRUCTING FOLKLORIC PLAYGROUND 2.) RENOVATION OF DESSEWFFY-BÁNFFY-MANSION – (For interactive and unique exhibitions) 3.) RENOVATION OF OUTDOOR STAGE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS AS AN EVENT VENUE, CONSTRUCTION OF STAGE ROOF HÉMA: We built the Palóc Barn in Mátraderecske, at 1. Deák Ferenc street, in the court of the Crafts House; a 5x8 metre wooden structure with tiled roof. We renovated the Artisan House in the proximity of the Recsk Country House and equipped it so that it is appropriate for summer courses. SNM: Madách Imre castle in Alsósztrehova – construction of the road in the Castle Detva: 35 culturally significant sites with information boards which can be visited on foot, by bike or by car. Exhibition of 30 dress replicas presenting traditional attire of the Podpoľanie region. Replicas of folk architecture buildings Exhibition of 16 historic bicycles. 2 representative publications in the form of a book Hrusov: We will publish a book, which will summarize local traditions in one publication. We will renovate Hontianská paráda venues (Culture Hall, Amphitheater, House of Traditions). We want to create a travel movie which presents attractions of the Hrušov.

Managing 2 fashion shows based on traditional costume motives. 1 developing online lace making programme. 8, Tangible outcomes: 'Participation at 5 tourism exhibitions (eg: Budapest,Debrecen) 5000 pcs. of tourist maps (4+4 colours,bilingual) 10 thousand pcs. foldouts (A4,threefolds) 4+4 colours 10 thousand pcs. of joint publication (A4, 20 pages, bilingual) 1 Study-tour (HU-SK-HU) 2 days,for 20 professional journalists
