Description (EN):

Though cross-border rail tracks are key-elements of climate-friendly mobility, there is only a very few number of such tracks existing at the moment between AT and HU. Enhanced/faster accessibility, provided by rail connections between tertiary (Neusiedl am See, Kapuvár) and secondary nodes (such as Sopron and Győr) within the border area and the TEN-T-corridor and improved accessibility between Jennersdorf-Szentgotthard are the superior project-goals. The railway of the Neusiedler Seebahn has been maintained and modernised for more than 30 years, to counteract the already prepared shut-down in the 1980s. As a result of those measures, a continuing increase of the numbers of passengers could be registered. Until the year 2000 the number of passengers has reached the level of 400.000 (in 2006: 468.900, 2016: 729.000). On working days 2000 to 2500 travellers (mainly commuters) use NSB. The quality of railway transport and the technical condition of the track were improved due to the shares of central and regional governments. With the support of the AT owners of the NSB an amount of € 13.000.000 were invested between 2002 and 2005 into projects along the AT section of the railway. These projects dealt with the following issues: electrification of the whole track, reconstruction and establishment of safety equipment, track construction works, assurance of road crossings, correction of track-arcs to increase speed of the line. Within the project CrossBorder Rail, the HU section of the railway (10,73 km) will begin to be improved. Planned measures are the complete renewal of the control and safety technologies as well as the roadbed and track. On AT section, the already started renewal of the control and safety technologies will be continued and finished. Measures to enhance multi-modality and to provide accessibility for disabled passengers at the stations are also proposed. Travel time will be reduced significantly (approx. 11 mins) due to these measures.

Derzeit bestehehen zwischen AT-HU sehr wenige gü Bahnlinien, obwohl diese Schlüsselelemente der klimaschonenden Mobilität sind. Die übergeordneten Ziele sind: bessere/schnellere Erreichbarkeit durch Bahnverbindungen zwischen tertiären (Neusiedl/See, Kapuvár) und sekundären Knoten ( Sopron, Györ) des Grenzgebietes Richtung TEN-T Korridor und verbesserte Erreichbarkeit zwischen Jennersdorf-Szentgotthárd. Auf der Strecke der NSB wurden seit den 1980er Jahren laufende Modernisierungsarbeiten durchgeführt, um einer bereits vorgesehenen Auflassung der Strecke zu fermeiden. Als Ergebnis dieser Maßnahmen ist eine kontinuierliche Steigerung der Fahrgastzahlen zu beobachten. Bis zum Jahr 2000 hat die Anzahl der Reisenden auf der Linie NSB die 400.000-Marke erreicht und seitdem überschritten (2006: 468.900, 2016: 729.000), wodurch an Werktagen 2.000-2.500 Reisende (v.a. Pendler) das Angebot der NSB in Anspruch nehmen. Durch den Beteiligung des Bundes und des Landes an der NSB konnten die Qualität des Bahnverkehrs und der technische Zustand der Strecke weiter verbessert werden.Mit Hilfe der öst, Eigentümer wurden in den Jahren 2002-2005 Projekte im Wert von insgesamt €13.000.000 durchgeführt.Diese Projekte umfassten z.B. die Elektrifizierung der gesamten Strecke, den Umbau und die Errichtung von Sicherungsanlagen an mehreren Bahnhöfen, Gleisumbauarbeiten, Sicherung von EK und Gleisbogenkorrekturmaßnahmen zur Erhöhung der Geschwindigkeit. Im Zuge diese Projektes soll einerseits mit der Ertüchtigung des von der GySEV übernommenen ung. Streckenteils (10,73 km) begonnen werden. Dabei wird neben der Erneuerng der gesamten Sicherungstechnik auch der gesamte Oberbau erneuert. Am öst. Streckenteil soll die bereits begonnene Erneuerung der Sicherheitstechnik fortgesetzt und abgeschlossen werden.Daneben sind Maßnahmen zur Multimodalität an den Bahnhöfen und zur Barrierefreiheit geplant. Durch diese Maßnahmen sollte die Reisezeit deutlich (ca. 11 Min) verringert werden.

Jelenleg Magyarország-Ausztria között nagyon kevés a határon átnyúló vonal, annak ellenére, hogy ezek a klímabarát mobilitás kulcsfontosságú elemei. A projekt legfőbb célja, hogy jobb/gyorsabb eljutást biztosítson vasúton a határmenti harmadrangú (Neusiedl/See, Kapuvár) és másodrangú csomópontok (mint pl. Sopron, Győr) között a TEN-T folyosó irányába, valamint, hogy javítsa a Jennersdorf-Szentgotthárd közti elérhetőséget. A Fertővidéki HÉV / Neusiedler Seebahn vonalán az 1980-as évek óta folyamatosan zajlanak korszerűsítési munkálatok a vonal tervezett megszűntetése elkerülésének érdekében. Az intézkedések eredményképp az utasszám folyamatos emelkedése figyelhető meg. A 2000. évig az utasok száma az NSB vonalán elérte a 400.000-es határt és azóta túl is lépte azt (2006: 468.900, 2016: 729.000), melynek során munkanapokon 2000-2500 utas (elsősorban ingázók) veszi igénybe a szolgáltatásokat. A központi kormányzati és tartományi részesedésnek köszönhetően az NSB vonalán tovább javult a vasúti közlekedés minősége és a pálya műszaki állapota. Az osztrák tulajdonosok támogatásával 2002-2005 között összesen 13.000.000 euró értékben sikerült projekteket lebonyolítani. . E projektek az alábbiakra irányultak pl.: teljes vonal villamosítása, több állomáson biztosítóberendezések átépítése és új biztosítóberendezések létesítése, vágányátépítési munkák, útátjárók biztosítása és ívkorrekciók a vonali sebesség növelése érdekében. E projekt során egyrészről megkezdődik a GYSEV Zrt. által átvett magyar szakaszrész (10,73 km) fejlesztése. Ennek során a teljes biztosítórendszer felújítása mellett megújul a teljes vasúti felépítmény is. Az osztrák szakaszrészen folytatódik és lezárásra kerül a korábban elkezdett biztosítóberendezési felújítás, emellett az állomási multimodalitást és az akadálymentesítést célzó intézkedések vannak tervbe véve. Ezen intézkedések segítségével az utazási idő jelentősen (ca. 11 perc) lerövidül.
