Die Lebensräume am Unteren Inn zählen zu bedeutendsten Brut-, Rast-, Überwinterungs- u. Mausergebieten in Mitteleuropa, sie umfassen in BY und OÖ 1 gemeinsames RAMSAR-Gebiet, 3 nationale Naturschutzgebiete (2 in BY, 1 in OÖ) und 4 Gebiete (2 FFH, 1 SPA, 1 Europaschutzgebiet) als Teil des europaweiten Verbundsystems NATURA2000. Ziele für Gebiete sind ungestörte Stillgewässer, fließgewässerdynamischer Prozesse, auetypischer Vielfalt an Lebensräumen und funktionaler Zusammenhang mit angrenzenden Gebieten. Das Projekt baut schrittweise steuerndes, gü koordinierendes Management für Schutzgebiete auf. Das Projekt soll Standards schaffen, um Betreuung quantitativ (ganzjährig) sicher zu stellen u. auf sämtliche NATURA 2000-Aspekte (Flussdynamik, Auen, Brennen, Altwässer usw.) auszuweiten. Betreute Fläche wird von 19,55 km² um 11,04 km² auf 30,59 km² erhöht. Die Langfristige grenzübergreifende Betreuung soll durch Erarbeitung einer grenzübergreifende Kooperationsvereinbarung für das naturschutzfachliches Projektmanagement auf Basis von Managementplänen (NATURA 2000), Erkenntnissen des LIFE -Projektes Unterer Inn mit Auen, aktuellen Bearbeitungen und unter Einbindung der relevanten Akteure sichergestellt werden. Hier wird die Art der Zusammenarbeit, die Koordinierung des gü Managements für die Schutzgebiete, gemeinsame Forschungen und Maßnahmen festgelegt. Die Einrichtung eines grenzübergreifende Steuerungszentrums für naturschutzfachliche Aktivitäten u. als Umweltbildungseinrichtung für die Einbindung der Bevölkerung folgt einer übergeordneten Gesamtperspektive mit dauerhafter Betreuung aller Schutzgebiete zur Bewahrung u. Weiterentwicklung der Biodiversität am Unteren Inn. Der Standort liegt im geografischen Schwerpunkt d. Schutzgebiete in Ering (BY) u. Mining (OÖ), hier besteht langfristig aufgrund naturräumlicher Gegebenheiten der einzige freie Zugang zum Fluss.

Description (EN):

The habitats at the Lower Inn are among the most important breeding, resting, wintering and moulting areas in Central Europe. The project builds on stepwise, cross-border, coordinated management for protected areas. The project aims to create standards to ensure support quantitatively (all year round) and extend it to all NATURA 2000 aspects (river dynamics, floodplains, burning, waste water, etc.). Supervised area is increased from 19.55 km ² by 11.04 km ² to 30.59 km ². The long-term corss-border care should be ensured by drawing up a cross-border cooperation agreement for nature conservation project management on the basis of management plans, findings of the LIFE project Unterer Inn, current developments and involving the relevant actors. It defines the type of cooperation, the coordination of the management of protected areas, joint research and action. The establishment of a cross-border control center for nature conservation activities and as an environmental education institution for the integration of the population it follows a superordinate overall perspective with permanent care of all protected areas for the preservation and further development of biodiversity at the Lower Inn.

Expected Results (DE): EI 4 - Erhöhung der Fläche der betreuten Europaschutzgebiete (km²)

Expected Outputs (DE): Durch GSU und Kooperationsvereinbarung für gü Management für 8 Gebiete wird die Fläche der betreuten Gebiete um 11,04 km² erhöht (von 19,55 km² auf 30,59 km²), zusätzliche Biodiversitätsziele gemanagt u. Betreuungsqualität wird verbessert.
