Hybride Materialien sind vielversprechende neuartige Verbundwerkstoffe und Materialverbünde, welche aufgrund ihrer besonderen Eigenschaften und durch Kopplung mit neuen Verarbeitungstechnologien neue Potentiale eröffnen. Eine wesentliche Barriere zur Verbreitung der neuen Technologien sind miteinander gekoppelte Fragestellungen betreffend Materialherstellung, neuartige Materialverarbeitung bis hin zu anwendungsspezifischen Designanforderungen.Ziel des Projekts ist der Aufbau einer grenzüberschreitenden Technologie- und Forschungsplattform für die Herstellung und Verarbeitung hybrider Materialien. TFP-HyMat stellt eine interregionale Innovationskapazität dar, welche in der Lage ist, die komplexen und interdisziplinären Fragestellungen im Bereich der Herstellung und Verarbeitung hybrider Materialien in koordinierter Form zu bearbeiten. Durch diesen Kooperationsansatz soll es künftig möglich sein, den regionalen Unternehmen für konkrete Produktinnovationen eine Wissensbasis für hocheffiziente Produktionsverfahren basierend auf neuartigen Hochleistungsmaterialien zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das gegenständliche Projektkonsortium stellt dabei einen erweiterbaren Kompetenz-Nucleus dar, der notwendige wissenschaftliche Disziplinen zum kooperativen Kompetenzaufbau beinhaltet. Durch ein integriertes Pilotprojekt werden die gewählten Kooperationsansätze zum abgestimmten Kompetenz- und Forschungsinfrastrukturaufbau am Beispiel „Biogene Filamente für den 3D-Druck“ implementiert und evaluiert. Die Ergebnisse der Aufbauarbeiten (Anschaffung der notwendigen Ausrüstung ist Gegenstand des Projekts) und der Grundlagenarbeiten unterliegen keiner Nutzungsbeschränkung und werden über Publikationen/Transfermaßnahmen offengelegt. Eine gekoppelte Bedarfserhebung bei Unternehmen fließt in die Weiterentwicklung der Technologie- und Forschungsplattform ein.

Hybrid materials open up new potentials due to their special properties and by coupling with new technologies. A major barrier to the diffusion of new technologies is the interconnected issues of materials production, advanced materials processing, and application-specific design requirements. The project aims to build a cross-border technology and research platform for the manufacture and processing of hybrid materials to make it possible for the regional companies to provide a knowledge base for highly efficient production processes based on innovative high-performance materials. An integrated pilot project implements and evaluates selected cooperation approaches for the coordinated competence and research infrastructure development using the example of "Biogenic filaments for 3D printing". The results of the construction work (acquisition of the necessary equipment is the subject of the project) and the basic work are subject to no restrictions on use and are disclosed through publications / transfer measures. A coupled business needs assessment feeds into the advancement of the technology and research platform.

Expected Results (DE): EI 2 - Grenzüberschreitende Cluster und sonstige Netzwerke (Anzahl)

Expected Outputs (DE): Es wird ein grenzüberschreitendes Kompetenznetzwerk aufgebaut, das die relevanten Akteure aus Wissenschaft und Forschung vernetzt und damit die Basis für dem Projekt nachgelagerte Innovationen bildet. Über assoziierte Partner werden KMUs angesprochen.
