Mit der Entwicklung des Lechwegs hat der Kooperationsraum entlang des naturnahen Lech von Lech am Arlberg bis Füssen einen Weg in Richtung naturnaher Qualitätstourismus eingeschlagen. Eine Weiterentwicklung in diesem Sinne wurde bereits über das Interreg-Projekt Winterwandern Allgäu-Tirol sowie über das Interreg-Projekt grenzüberschreitendes Lech-Erlebnis erreicht. Nach intensiven strategischen Überlegungen und basierend auf naturgebundenen Heilressourcen und Heilkompetenzen rund um die Kneipp'sche Gesundheitslehre beschlossen die Partner nun, einen gemeinsamen gesundheitstouristischen Erlebnisraum zu schaffen. Der Wildfluss Lech verbindet nicht nur die Partner, er steht auch sinnbildlich für die Kraft der Natur, die heilende Wirkung auf stressgeplagte Menschen hat. Die Schaffung eines grenzüberschreitenden gesundheitstouristischen Erlebnisraums basiert auf einer gemeinsamen Produktentwicklung und Qualifizierung im Bereich der Kneipp'schen Gesundheitslehre sowie in einem konzertierten Marketing einschließlich einer internationalen Fachtagung zum Thema traditionelle Europäische Heilverfahren (Medicinicum Lech). Diese Veranstaltung wird ohne Förderungen umgesetzt. Der Erlebnisraum wird sichtbar gemacht durch eine profilgebende Kneipp-Infrastruktur beginnend im Portalort Füssen. Daran anknüpfend wird die Gemeinde Holzgau als weiteres Kneipp-Zentrum aufgebaut. Die strukturschwachen Lechtaler Seitentalgemeinden gewinnen durch das Projekt eine auf ihren Alleinstellungsmerkmalen basierende Positionierung im Sinne von "Auszeit-Dörfern". Zentrales Element der grenzüberschreitenden Gesundheitsregion ist das Bad Kreckelmooser Heilwasser, das als öffentliches Gut verfügbar gemacht wird. Im Rahmen des Projekts wird ein Kompetenznetzwerk zur Kneipp'schen Gesundheitslehre unter Einbindung von Kliniken/Universitäten/Hochschulen aufgebaut. Einen Schwerpunkt dabei bildet die Säule innere Ordnung und gesunder Schlaf. Das Projekt zielt auf eine Ausweitung der Saisonalität.

With the development of the Lechweg, the cooperation area along the Lech from Lech am Arlberg to Füssen has taken a path towards quality tourism. Further development in this sense has already been achieved through the Interreg project "Winterwandern Allgäu-Tirol" and the Interreg project "Cross-border Lech Experience". After intensive strategic considerations and based on natural healing resources and healing competences around the Kneipp health education the partners decided to create a common health tourism adventure space. The wild river Lech not only connects the partners, it is also symbolic of the power of nature, which has healing effects on stress-plagued people. The creation of a cross-border health-tourism experience space is based on joint product development and qualification in the area of Kneipp health education as well as concerted marketing including an international symposium on the topic of traditional european medical procedures (Medicinicum Lech). This event will be implemented without funding. The experience space is made visible through a profiling Kneipp infrastructure beginning in the portal town of Füssen. The central element of the cross-border health region is Bad Kreckelmooser healing water, which is made available as a public good. Within the framework of the project, a competence network for Kneipp's health teaching is being developed with the involvement of clinics / universities / colleges. The project aims for an extension of the seasonality.

Achievements (EN):

Development of natural health tourism along the Lech River: The aim of the project Lebensspur Lech was and is to deepen the cross-border experiential space along the wild river Lech, which has already been developed very well through other projects, also from a health tourism point of view and on the basis of the natural healing process of Sebastian Kneipp. The expansion of trusting cooperation in this area and the consolidation of the Lech development axis is a key achievement. The other is the increase in the competitiveness of the destinations through the modern product development and qualification. The project is thus another milestone in placing tourist-relevant and convincing offers on the market while documenting the growth of Europe. Cross-border cooperation has achieved the highest degree of self-evident.

Expected Results (DE): EI 3 - Anteil der Gästenächtigungen in der Nebensaison an den Gesamtnächtigungen eines Jahres (%)

Expected Outputs (DE): Die Ergebnisse tragen zur Ausweitung der Saisonalität bei. Angestrebt wird eine Verschiebung der Nächtigungen von 5% zu Gunsten der Nebensaison bzw. schwachen Saison innerhalb von 10 Jahren (Details siehe Beilage).
