Die Allgäu GmbH hat mit ihrem Geschäftsfeld Rad in den Jahren 2011-2015 einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Entwicklung und Präsentation des Allgäus als Radregion geleistet. Ergebnis ist das grenzüberschreitende Vier-Sterne Leitprodukt „Radrunde Allgäu“ und die damit ver-bundene Markteinführung und gewonnene Marktrelevanz. Radrunde Allgäu - Die Runde in die schönsten Ecken. Eine Radtour auf einem 4-Sterne klas-sifizierten Radfernweg. Auf einem 450 Kilometer langem, grenzüberschreitenden Wegenetz im Allgäu und im Tannhierm Tal kann die beeindruckende Natur erlebt werden. Die Radrunde Allgäu spricht ausschließlich die Genussradler an. Nun soll aus dem Geschäftsfeld RAD ein weiterer Meilenstein zur Positionierung des Themas RAD angegangen und ein MTB-Wegenetz geschaffen und beworben werden. Ein an Topographie und Natur angepasstes Mountainbike-Wegenetz Allgäu-Naturpark Lechtal-Reutte kann dieses Profil RAD weiter schärfen, neue Zielgruppen an Radfahrern für das Pro-jektgebiet interessieren und damit einen Beitrag zur Sicherung der Wertschöpfung aus dem Tourismus leisten. Hierbei ist eine Nutzerlenkung zu initiieren, um den alpinen Naturraum zu schützen. Eine von den Tourismusorten in Auftrag gegebene Machbarkeitsstudie aus dem Kleinprojektefonds in diesem Bereich hat zu einem positiven Ergebnis geführt. Im Fokus steht hier die Leitung der bisherigen Mountainbiker und der Abbau zunehmender Konflikte zwischen Wanderern und Mountainbikern. Des Weiteren soll das MTB-Wegenetz die drei Höhenlagen der Projektregion berücksichtigen. Dies ist eine Innovation, die es in dieser Form noch nicht gibt. Die Projektbeteiligten und weitere Akteure in der Projektregion wollen eine konkrete Konzept- und Produktentwicklung im Bereich MTB umsetzen. Die Umsetzung beinhaltet: -einheitliche Beschilderung und Routenmarkierung, Erstellung von Online und Printkartenmaterialien, Margekting zur Kommunikation des Mountainbikenetzes.

In the years 2011-2015, the Allgäu GmbH made a significant contribution to the development and presentation of the Allgäu region as a cycling region with its cycling business unit. A feasibility study commissioned by the tourist sites from the Small Projects Fund in this area has led to a positive result. The focus here is the management of the previous mountain bikers and the reduction of increasing conflicts between hikers and mountain bikers. Furthermore, the route network should take into account the three altitudes of the project region. This is an innovation that does not yet exist in this form. The project participants and other actors in the project region want to implement a concrete concept and product development which includes: uniform signage and route marking, creation of online and print card materials, margkting for communication of the mountain biking network.

Expected Results (DE): EI 3 - Anteil der Gästenächtigungen in der Nebensaison an den Gesamtnächtigungen eines Jahres (%)

Expected Outputs (DE): Durch das Projekt wird die Anzahl der Nächtigungsgäste um erwartungsgemäß 1.000 über die nächsten 3 Jahre gesteigert. Dieses Potential basiert auf Genuss-Mountainbikern sowie E-Mountainbikern aus den Ballungsräumen im Umkreis von 400 Km.
