TRAIN je projekt sodelovanja med raziskovalnimi ustanovami, grozdi biotehnoloških podjetij in podjetji, namenjen skupnemu razvoju novih diagnostičnih in terapevtskih rešitev na podlagi celične biologije in analizi velikih količin podatkov. Pričakovana sprememba je pospešitev prenosa znanja siz področja raziskav na industrijo s pripravo preizkušenih diagnostičnih storitev, ki bo na razpolago biomedicinskim podjetjem, da lahko razvijejo nove biofarmacevtske produkte.

TRAIN è un progetto di cooperazione tra centri di ricerca, imprese e cluster del settore biomedicale, finalizzato allo sviluppo congiunto di nuove soluzioni diagnostiche e terapeutiche basate sulla biologia cellulare e l’analisi di grandi quantità di dati. Il cambiamento previsto è l’accelerazione del trasferimento dalla ricerca all’industria mediante la realizzazione di una serie di kit a disposizione delle aziende biomedicali per creare nuovi prodotti biofarmaceutici.

Description (EN):

TRAIN is a project of cooperation between research centres, enterprises and clusters of the biomedical industry, aiming at the joint development of new diagnostic and therapeutic solutions based on cell biology and the analysis of huge amounts of data. The change proposed is an acceleration of the passage from research to industry to the creation of a series of kits which should be available to biomedical companies to create new bio-pharmaceuticals.

Povečati sodelovanje med ključnimi akterji na področju biomedicine, kot so raziskovalne ustanove, univerze in podjetja, da bi spodbudili prenos inovativne kombinacije dveh biomedicinskih tehnik, kot sta celična biologija in analiza velikih količin podatkov na področju srčnih bolezni, vnetnih bolezni živčevja, težav povezanih s težkimi poškodbami in drugih morebitnih bolezni ter povečali konkurenčnost na področju biomedicinskih raziskav.

Expected Results (IT):

Incrementare la cooperazione tra soggetti chiave del campo biomedico quali istituti di ricerca, università e aziende per realizzare una piattaforma di servizi, basata su un’innovativa combinazione di due tecniche biomedicali, la biologia cellulare e l’analisi di grandi quantità di dati, nell'ambito delle patologie cardiologiche, neuro infiammatorie, delle problematiche legate a ferite difficili e di altre potenziali patologie, aumentando così la competitività nel settore della ricerca biomedica.

Expected Outputs (SL):

Povečano sodelovanje med raziskovalnimi centri, biomedicinskimi podjetji in grozdi na programskem območju z vzpostavitvijo trajne čezmejne mreže za skupni razvoj tehnološke platforme, ki združuje dve do sedaj ločeno uporabljeni disciplini, ter njeno uporabo na različnih biomedicinskih področjih, kot so miokardni infarkt, kriti ne poškodbe, bolezni vnetja živčevja in druge. To bo izboljšalo znanje in s tem konkurenčnost programskega območja na tem ter drugih področjih zdravstva. Večje sodelovanje bo vidno v glavnih projektnih raziskavah in inovacijah kot tudi pri prenosu rezultatov. Načrtno raziskovanje namreč zahteva tako znanstveno odličnost raziskovalnih centrov (ICGEB in IJS) in partnerskega podjetja (Experteam), kot tudi možnost kapitalizacije rezultatov obeh grozdov, enega v Sloveniji (Tehnološki Park Ljubljana) in drugega v Italiji (Biovalley). Projekt bo prinesel tudi izkušnje v visokošolskem izobraževanju raziskovalcev in biomedicinskih strokonjakov. Partnerji imajo dolgoletne izkušnje vsak na svojem področju in nameravajo nadaljevati s sodelovanjem tudi po zaključku projekta ter onkraj geografskih omejitev projekta in tako postati referenčna skupina za raziskave in inovacije v proizvodnji kompletov za analizo celične funkcionalnosti za takojšnjo uporabo, ki so namenjeni številnim biomedicinskim in farmacevtskim podjetjem. Korist nadaljnjega obstoja te partnerske mreže, ki se bo z dejavnostmi tehnološkega prenosa razširila na čezmejno območje in opravljenih raziskav bosta imeli tako družba, zaradi boljših zdravstvenih storitev, ki jih bodo omogočili ti rezultati, kot trg, glede na pogostnost ciljnih bolezni v svetu.

Aumentata cooperazione tra i centri di ricerca, le imprese ed i cluster del settore biomedicale nell'area programma attraverso la creazione di una rete transfrontaliera duratura per lo sviluppo congiunto di una piattaforma tecnologica che raggruppa due discipline finora utilizzate separatamente, che trovano applicazioni in diversi ambiti biomedici, tra cui infarto miocardico, ferite difficili, malattie neuro infiammatorie ed altre; ciò migliorerà la conoscenza e quindi la competitività dell’area programma in questi ed altri potenziali settori della salute. L’aumento della cooperazione sarà evidente nelle attività chiave di ricerca e innovazione del progetto, come anche in quelle di trasferimento dei risultati; la ricerca pianificata, infatti, necessita sia dell’eccellenza scientifica dei centri di ricerca ICGEB e IJS e dell’azienda partner Experteam, sia delle capacità di capitalizzazione dei risultati dei due cluster situati rispettivamente in Slovenia (Technology Park Lubiana) e in Italia (Biovalley), sia dell’esperienza nell’alta formazione di ricercatori e professionisti del settore biomedicale che ha il PP MPŠ. I partner vantano un’esperienza pluriennale nei rispettivi campi, e intendono continuare tale collaborazione oltre la dimensione geografica e la durata del progetto, puntando a diventare un gruppo di riferimento per la ricerca e l’innovazione nella produzione di kit per l’analisi della funzionalità cellulare pronti all’uso, da parte di numerose aziende biomedicali e farmaceutiche. La continuazione di questa rete avviata dal partenariato ed estesa all’area transfrontaliera, insieme alle attività di trasferimento tecnologico, garantirà l’impatto della ricerca svolta sia sulla società, grazie alle potenziali cure facilitate da questi risultati, sia sul mercato, vista l’incidenza globale delle patologie target.
