This is done by building networks, not only between research institutions, but also between local actors in different regions. The collaboration is to develop ways to actively manage the traditional ecological knowledge of local communities. The women participating in the project have a strong anchorage in the local environment in which to operate and can be seen as resources to work on traditional ecological knowledge of local actors.
