Polsko-saksońskie przygranicze dotknięty jest migracją młodych ludzi oraz niedoborem wykwalifikowanych pracowników zajmujących się rzemiosłem oraz pielęgniarstwem, jednocześnie wykazuje możliwy do zwiększenia potencjał w gastronomii i turystyce. Te wyzwania strukturalne można lepiej pokonać poprzez intensywną współpracę transgraniczną. Projekt „Entdecke Dein Nachbarland!-Poznaj Kraj Sąsiada!“ oferuje program praktyk dla uczniów i zapewnia możliwości kooperacji i nawiązania współpracy:
1. W ramach programu praktyk partnerzy pośredniczą w znalezieniu miejsc stażowych w kraju sąsiednim dla młodych ludzi ze wschodniej Saksonii i Dolnego Śląska uczących się rzemiosła, pielęgniarstwa, gastronomii oraz turystyki. W szkołach uczestniczących w projekcie przewidziano realizację branżowych warsztatów językowych przygotowujących do odbycia stażu. Zaplanowano także coroczne spotkania dla wszystkich uczniów biorących udział w projekcie. Celem projektu jest wzmocnienie współpracy w dziedzinie edukacji zawodowej oraz podnoszenie kwalifikacji międzykulturowych i zawodowych uczniów. Dzięki temu projekt przeciwdziała odpływowi uczniów z regionu przygranicznego oraz niedoborowi wykwalifikowanych sił roboczych.
2. Projekt przewiduje także realizację ofert nawiązania współpracy dla multiplikatorów szkolnictwa zawodowego w obszarze wsparcia: dwa razy w roku odbędą się polsko niemieckie giełdy kooperacyjne (w Zgorzelcu/Bolesławcu/Lubaniu oraz Bautzen/Löbau/Görlitz) służące inicjowaniu współpracy transgranicznej w gospodarce i szkolnictwie zawodowym, ale także zademonstrowaniu istniejących już form współpracy. Warsztaty służące nawiązaniu współpracy organizowane dla przedsiębiorców i nauczycieli a także dwujęzyczna platforma internetowa umożliwiają wymianę doświadczeń i objęcie siecią współpracy inicjatyw zajmujących się edukacją zawodową z regionu wsparcia oraz rozwinięcie nowych form współpracy.

Der sächsisch-polnische Grenzraum ist von Abwanderung junger Menschen und Fachkräftemangel im Handwerk und in der Pflege betroffen, hat aber gleichzeitig ausbaubares Potential im Bereich von Gastronomie und Tourismus. Diese strukturellen Herausforderungen und Probleme können durch eine intensive grenzübergreifende Zusammenarbeit besser bewältigt werden. Das Projekt „Entdecke Dein Nachbarland!-Poznaj Kraj Sąsiada!“ bietet ein Praktikumsprogramm für Auszubildende und stellt Kooperations- und Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten bereit:
1. Im Rahmen des Praktikumsprogramms werden Auszubildende aus dem Handwerk, der Pflege, der Gastronomie und des Tourismus aus Ostsachsen und Niederschlesien in ein Betriebspraktikum im jeweiligen Nachbarland vermittelt. Das Projekt sieht vorbereitende branchenspezifische Sprachworkshops an den teilnehmenden Schulen vor. Ebenso planen die Projektpartner eine jährliche Begegnung für alle am Projekt teilnehmenden Auszubildenden. Ziel des Projektes ist die verstärkte Zusammenarbeit im Aus- und Weiterbildungsbereich, sowie die interkulturelle und branchenspezifische Qualifizierung der Auszubildenden. Damit wirkt das Projekt der Abwanderung von Auszubildenden aus der Grenzregion sowie dem Fachkräftemangel entgegen.
2. Darüber hinaus realisiert das Projekt Vernetzungs-angebote für Multiplikatoren der beruflichen Bildung im Fördergebiet: zweimal jährlich finden deutsch-polnische Kooperationsbörsen statt (in Zgorzelec/ Bolesławiec / Lubań und Bautzen/Löbau/ Hoyerswerda) mit dem Ziel grenzübergreifende Kooperationen in den Bereichen Wirtschaft und berufliche Bildung zu initiieren, aber auch bereits bestehende sichtbarer zu machen. Vernetzungsworkshops für Unternehmer und Lehrer sowie ein zweisprachiges Kooperationsportal im Internet dienen zum Austausch und zur Vernetzung zwischen berufsbildenden Akteuren der Förderregionen und zur Entwicklung zukünftiger Kooperationen.

The Polish-Saxon borderland is affected by migration of young people and scarcity of qualified craftsmen or nurses, however it shows an expandable capacity within catering and tourism. These structural challenges may be better overcome by intensive cross-border co-operation. The project “Entdecke Dein Nachbarland!-Learn about your Neighbouring Country!” offers a programme of internships for students and ensures an opportunity to start or continue co-operation:
1. As part of the internship programme, the partners act as intermediaries in finding internship positions in the neighbouring country for young people from the eastern Saxony and Lower Silesia who are learning handicraft, nursing, catering business, and tourism. The schools participating in the project are planned to carry out trade language workshops preparing the trainees for internships. Also annual meetings are scheduled for all the students participating in the project. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the co-operation in vocational education and to increase the students' intercultural and professional qualifications. Thus, the project prevents the outflow of students from the borderland and the insufficiency of qualified workforce.
2. The project also envisages co-operation offers for multipliers of vocational education in the support area: Polish-German co-operation markets will be held twice per year (in Zgorzelec/Bolesławiec/Lubań and Bautzen/Löbau/Görlitz) in order to initiate cross-border co-operation in business and vocational education, but also to demonstrate the existing forms of co-operation. Workshops devoted to commencement of co-operation, to be organised for business people and teachers, together with a bilingual Internet platform will enable exchange of experience, development of new forms of co-operation, and will cover with a co-operation network the initiatives concerning vocational education within the support area.

4. Poszerzenie wiedzy nauczycieli, instruktorów i przedsiębiorców w odniesieniu do strukturalnych osobliwości szkolnictwa zawodowego oraz wymagań branżowych w obu krajach i związanych z tym możliwościami.
5. Dostosowanie oferty edukacyjnej w obszarze wsparcia dotyczącej branży rzemieślniczej, pielęgniarstwem, gastronomii i turystyki do potrzeb wspólnego transgraniczego rynku pracy.
6. Wzmocnienie współpracy i powiązanie siecią placówek edukacyjnych, stowarzyszeń i przedsiębiorstw we wschodniej Saksonii i na Dolnym Śląsku, przy pomocy platformy internetowej i poza okresem trwania projektu.
7. Poprawa sieci współpracy gospodarczej w odniesieniu do rozbudowy wspólnego rynku pracy.
8. Zwrócenie większej uwagi ogółu na istniejące formy współpracy polsko-niemieckiej w regionie wsparcia.

8. Verstärkung der Zusammenarbeit und Vernetzung von Bildungseinrichtungen, Vereinen und Unternehmen in Ostsachsen und Niederschlesien über das Projekt hinaus mithilfe der Internetplattform
9. Verbesserung der wirtschaftlichen Vernetzung in Hinblick auf den Ausbau eines gemeinsamen Arbeitsmarkts.
