Description (EN): Beekeeper companies of the Alpine’s Region are facing huge difficulties du to damages caused by the varroae parasite. Actually, the struggle against this parasite is limited at the application of synthetic acaricidal substances which are generating some resistance phenomenon. These methods are also susceptible to affect honey quality and other beehives products.
Description: Les exploitations d'apiculteurs des régions alpines sont confrontées à de graves difficultés dues aux dégâts causés par le parasite varroa. Actuellement, la lutte contre ce parasite se limite à l'application de substances acaricides de synthèse qui commencent à engendrer des phénomènes de résistance. Ces méthodes sont aussi susceptibles d'altérer la qualité des miels et des produits de la ruche.
Description: Le aziende di apicoltori delle regioni alpine sono confrontati a delle gravi difficoltà dovute ai danni causati dalla parassita varroa. Attualmente, la lotta contro questo parassita si limite all’applicazione di sostanze acaride di sintesi che iniziano a dare luogo a un fenomeno di resistenza da parte della parassita. Questi metodi sono anche suscettibile di perturbare la qualità del miele e dei prodotti dell’alveale.
Expected Results (EN): From the experience of Italian beekeepers, Turin University and INRA PACA, with professional organisations, would : normalize a new Innov’Api method based on bee population management; evaluate their effect on bee colonies global health, and more precisely on virus link to varroa, show the economic impact on companies independently of their size, globalize this method to ameliorate beehives products quality for beekeepers from the region, contribute to the maintaining and development of beekeepers activities over the Alpine’s territory.
Expected Results: A partir de l'expérience des apiculteurs italiens, l'université de Turin et l'INRA PACA, avec les organisations professionnelles, veulent : normaliser une nouvelle méthode Innov'Api, basée sur la gestion des populations d'abeilles ; évaluer son effet sur la santé globale des colonies et en particulier les virus liés au varroa ; démontrer l'impact économique sur les exploitations quelle que soit leur taille ; divulguer et généraliser l'application de cette méthode pour améliorer la qualité des produits de la ruche chez les apiculteurs de la région ; contribuer au maintien et au développement de l'activité apicole dans les territoires alpins.
Expected Results: Dall’esperienza di apicoltori italiani, l’Università di Torino e l’INRA PACA, con le organicazioni professionale vogliono: normalizzare un nuovo metodo Innov’Api, basato sulla gestione delle popolazione di api; valutare il suo effetto sulla salute globale delle colonie e, più particolarmente, i virus legati al varroa; dimostrare l’impatto economico sulle aziende qualsiasi la loro grandezza; divulgare e generalizzare l’applicazione di questo metodo per migliorare la qualità dei prodotti dell’alveale per gli apicoltori della regione; contribuire al mantenimento e allo sviluppo delle attività apicale nel territorio alpino.
