Description (EN): Dam reserves of drinking water, irrigation, hydroelectricity or for artificial snow production have an important economic and social role for cross-border territories.
Description: Les barrages de réserves d’eau potable, d’irrigation, hydroélectriques ou pour la production de neige artificielle ont un rôle économique et social crucial pour les territoires transfrontaliers de montagne.
Description: Le dige di riserve d’acqua potabile, d’irrigazione, idroelettrici o per la produzione di neve artificiale hanno un ruolo economico e sociale cruciale per i territori transfrontalieri della montagna.
Expected Results (EN): The main objectives of RESBA project are: increase knowledges, form people, sensibiliser local managers and peoples on dams. These objectives will allow to develop evaluation methods and instruments of the vulnerability, and of control, of dams; involve and raise peoples awarness exposed to the risk of dam failure.
Expected Results: Les principaux objectifs du projet RESBA sont : accroître la connaissance, former, sensibiliser les administrateurs locaux et le grand public aux barrages quant à la gestion et à la prévention des risques. Ces objectifs permettront de développer des méthodes et outils d’évaluation de la vulnérabilité et de contrôle des barrages, impliquer et la sensibiliser la population exposée au risque de rupture des barrages.
Expected Results: I principali obiettivi del progetto RESBA sono: accrescimento della conoscenza, formare, sensibilizzare i gestori locali e il pubblico alle dige, alla gestione e la prevenzione dei rischi. Questi obiettivi permetteranno di sviluppare il metodo e gli strumenti di valutazione della vulnerabilità e dei controlli delle dige, implicati a sensibilizzare la popolazione esposta ai rischi di rottura delle dige.
