Project - Edible flowers: innovations for the development of a cross-border sector

Description (EN): The main goal of the project is to reorganise the emergent sector of comestible flowers, in order to develop the oldest cross-border production of decorative flowers, with the application of technological innovations in capacity to enhance every aspects linked to production, quality, using safety, transport, conservation, selling.
Description: L’objectif général du projet est de réorganiser la filière émergente des fleurs comestibles, de manière à faire évoluer la plus ancienne production transfrontalière de fleurs décoratives, à travers l’application d’innovations technologiques en mesure de mettre en valeur chaque aspect lié à la production, à la qualité, à la sécurité d’utilisation, au transport, à la conservation et à la vente.
Description: L’obiettivo generale del progetto è di riorganizzare la filiera emergente dei fiori eduli, in modo tale da far evolvere la più antica produzione transfrontaliera di fiori ornamentali, attraverso l’applicazione di innovazione tecnologica in grado di mettere in valore ogni aspetto legato a produzione, qualità, sicurezza d’uso, trasporto, conservazione e mercato.
Expected Results (EN): Technical and experimental activities consist in: • The analyse of plants organically composition and their sensorial characteristics; allergic and microbiological tests, evaluation of the potential toxicity, development of protocol of reproduction and production; energetical economy and protection of the production with sustainable techniques, technologies for the conservation, containment and preparation of foods. • Th analyse of directive for the development of a system of production, commercialisation and innovative product consummation; study on the Controlled Designation of Origin and quality; a “living lab” for the consultation of developed technologies and methodologies. The project aim, also, an important activity of communication, links to thematical installations and permanent Open Lab, participation to national and international expositions, and to activities o formation for farmers and students.
Expected Results: Les activités techniques et expérimentales consistent en : • L’analyse de la composition organique des plantes et de leurs caractéristiques sensorielles ; tests allergènes et microbiologiques, évaluation de la potentielle toxicité, mise au point des protocoles de reproduction et de culture ; économies énergétiques et protection des cultures avec des techniques durables, technologies pour la conservation, le conditionnement et les préparations alimentaires. • L’analyse des directives pour la mise en œuvre d’un système de production, de commercialisation et de consommation du produit innovant ; étude d’un label d’origine contrôlée et de qualité ; un living lab pour la consultation des méthodologies et technologies développées. Le projet prévoit également une importante activité de communication, accompagnée d’installations thématiques et d’Open Labs permanents, de la participation à des foires nationales et internationales, et à des activités de formation pour les agriculteurs et les étudiants.
Expected Results: Le attività tecniche e sperimentali consistono nell': analisi della composizione organica delle piante e delle loro caratteristiche organolettiche; test allergologici e microbiologici; valutazione delle potenziali attività tossiche; messa a punto di protocolli di moltiplicazione e di coltivazione; risparmio energetico e protezione delle colture con tecniche di coltivazione sostenibile; tecnologie per la conservazione e il confezionamento e per le preparazioni alimentari. analisi delle linee guida per la messa in opera di un sistema di produzione, commercializzazione e consumo del prodotto innovativo; studio di un marchio di provenienza e/o qualità; un living lab per la consultazione delle metodologie e tecnologie sviluppate. Il progetto prevede inoltre un’importante attività di comunicazione accompagnata da installazioni tematiche e Open Labs permanenti, partecipazione a fiere nazionali e internazionali, attività formazione per agricoltori e studenti.
