The objective of the project “Dukes of Alpes” is to enhance the touristic attractivity of Alpines’ territories around historic places of Savoy House. For the 600 anniversary of the Duchy of Savoy the department of Savoy, the Fondation of Hautecombe, the Castle of Manta -FAI Italian Environmental Fund, the association Savoy’s Lands encourage visitors to rediscover emblematic places of the most antic European Dynasties: Racconigi Castle, Manta Castle and the Hautecombe Abbey. The Savoy House is valorised by Piedmont Residences of Savoy, Humanity World Heritage. The project purpose a complementary approach, focused on cross-border territory: bring visitors to experiment, rediscover these places, and purpose a more European lecture of history.

Les Ducs des Alpes a pour objectif d’accroître l’attractivité touristique des territoires alpins autour des lieux historiques de la Maison de Savoie. A l’occasion du 600e anniversaire du Duché de Savoie, le département de la Savoie, la Fondation de Hautecombe, le Castello della Manta - FAI Fondo Ambiente Italiano, l’association Le Terre dei Savoia incitent les visiteurs à redécouvrir des lieux emblématiques de la plus ancienne dynastie d’Europe : le château de Racconigi, le château della Manta et l’abbaye de Hautecombe. La Maison de Savoie est mise en valeur grâce aux résidences royales autour de Turin, patrimoine mondial de l’Humanité. Le projet propose une approche complémentaire, centrée sur le territoire transfrontalier : conduire les invités à expérimenter, en parcourant ces lieux, combien les Alpes et leur environnement marquent cette dynastie et proposer une lecture renouvelée et européenne de l’Histoire.

L'obiettivo de I Duchi delle Alpi è quello di incrementare l'attrattiva turistica dei territori alpini attorno ai luoghi storici di Casa Savoia. In occasione del 600 ° anniversario del Ducato di Savoia, il dipartimento della Savoia, la Fondazione di Hautecombe, il Castello della Manta - FAI Fondo Ambiente Italiano, l'associazione Le Terre dei Savoia incoraggiano i visitatori a riscoprire i luoghi emblematici della più antica dinastia d'Europa: il castello dei Racconigi, il castello della Manta e l'abbazia di Hautecombe. La Casa Savoia è valorizzata dalle residenze sabaude piemontesi, Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità. Il progetto propone un approccio complementare, incentrato sul territorio transfrontaliero: condurre gli ospiti a sperimentare, ripercorrendo questi luoghi, quanto le Alpi e il loro ambiente abbiano segnato questa dinastia e proporre una lettura rinnovata ed europea della storia.

Expected Results (EN):

The objectives of the project are: • Restauration of essential elements of the current visit, degraded or unreachable at Hautecombe (front of the Church), la Manta (Carlo Emanuel Gallery) and Racconigi (Carlo Alberto’s bathroom). • Organise common actions of cultural and touristic promotion. • Define methods and format in a sustainable manner, historic exposition in various places after the experimentations started in 2016 and 2017. • Develop, thorough new technologies especially, instrument to support the visit, connecting the different places .

Expected Results (FR):

Le projet consiste en : la restauration d'éléments essentiels à la visite, actuellement dégradés ou inaccessibles, à Hautecombe (façades de l’église), La Manta (galerie Charles Emmanuel) et Racconigi (bains de Charles Albert), l'organisation d'actions communes de promotion culturelle et touristique, la définition de méthodes et de formats pour déplacer durablement les expositions historiques sur les différents lieux, suite à des expérimentations lancées en 2016 et 2017, le développement, au moyen notamment de nouvelles technologies, des outils d’aide à la visite communs aux partenaires et reliant les différents sites.

Il progetto consiste in: restaurare elementi essenziali della visita attualmente degradati o inaccessibili a Hautecombe (facciate della chiesa), La Manta (galleria Carlo Emanuele) e Racconigi (bagni di Carlo Alberto) ; organizzare delle azioni congiunte di promozione culturale e turistica; definire metodi e formati per trasferire in maniera sostenibile le mostre storiche in luoghi diversi, in seguito a delle sperimentazioni iniziate nel 2016 e 2017; sviluppare, attraverso nuove tecnologie in particolare, strumenti di supporto alla visita che collegano i diversi siti e che siano comuni ai partner.
