Das UNEET-Projekt verfolgt den innovativen Ansatz den Personalbedarf der Hotel- und Gastronomiebranche (HORECA) mit der verfügbaren Arbeitskraft junger Erwachsener in sieben NWE Regionen zu bedienen und dadurch junge Menschen, insbesondere NEETs, in den Arbeitsmarkt in NWE zu integrieren. Die besorgniserregende Höhe der Jugendarbeitslosigkeit in NWE (durchschnittlich 18,8% in den Projektregionen) und die Notwendigkeit für bessere und ganzheitliche Lösungen, haben die Projektpartner dazu veranlasst, dieses ambitionierte Projekt mit starkem transnationalen Fokus und Schwerpunkt auf die Arbeitsmarktintegration junger Erwachsener zu entwickeln. Das Konsortium hat die Hotel- und Gastronomiebranche gewählt, da sie sich durch konstanten Personalwechsel, hohen Personalbedarf (250.000 unbesetzte Stellen pro Jahr), die Verfügbarkeit von Stellen für Berufseinsteiger und die hohe Bereitschaft, junge Arbeitskräfte einzustellen, auszeichnet. Damit ist dieser arbeitsintensive Sektor, der ca. 27 Millionen Menschen in NWE direkt und indirekt beschäftigt, ideal, um konkrete und effektive Resultate für Jobsuchende und Unternehmen zu generieren. Gleichzeitig wird dieser Sektor durch die Verfügbarkeit neuer Arbeitskräfte profitieren. Durch die komplementäre Expertise der Partner wird im UNEET-Projekt eine digitale Plattform mit mehreren zielgruppenspezifischen Modulen entwickelt, die den Zugang von NEETs zum Arbeitsmarkt unterstützt, um: die Fähigkeiten und Bedürfnisse der Zielgruppe zu identifizieren, die Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten der NEETs zu stärken, die Attraktivität von Arbeitsplätzen im HORECA-Sektor zu steigern, die transnationale Mobilität zu steigern und die ökonomische Leistungsfähigkeit der Partnerregionen zu stärken. Das einzigartige „Social Innovation“-Projekt hat das Ziel 1200 NEET an den Arbeitsmarkt heranzuführen in vier verschiedene Länder (Frankreich, Deutschland, Vereinigtes Königreich, Irland).

Le projet UNEET propose une approche innovante pour favoriser l’insertion professionnelle des NEET (sortis du système scolaire, sans emploi, ni formation), en croisant les besoins de recrutement du secteur Hôtellerie-Restauration et la main d’œuvre disponible parmi les jeunes dans 7 régions du NO de l’Europe. Les chiffres inquiétants du chômage des jeunes dans ces régions (en moyenne 18,8% dans les régions concernées) et le besoin de développer des solutions plus complètes pour faire face à cette situation ont conduit les partenaires à collaborer dans la conception d’un projet ambitieux avec une forte dimension transnationale. Une analyse précise a permis au consortium d’identifier le secteur de l’hôtellerie-restauration comme le plus pertinent pour les objectifs de ce projet. La rotation importante du personnel, le déficit en main d’œuvre (250 000 emplois non pourvus chaque année en Europe), l’accessibilité des emplois aux bas niveaux de qualification et l’ouverture aux jeunes, confirment que ce secteur, qui représente environ 27 millions d’emplois directs et indirects, pourrait bénéficier de ce projet et contribuer à l´intégration professionnelle durable des jeunes adultes. En combinant les expertises complémentaires de chaque partenaire, le projet UNEET renforcera l’accès des NEET au marché du travail à travers la création d’un programme digital en faveur de l’employabilité incluant différents modules d’accompagnement visant à : identifier les besoins des bénéficiaires et les compétences requises dans ce secteur, renforcer les compétences et capacités des NEETS, améliorer les capacités de recrutement et l’attractivité du secteur de l’Hôtellerie-Restauration, promouvoir la mobilité professionnelle transnationale et booster l’économie des régions participantes. Ce projet d’innovation sociale sans précédent a pour objectif de renforcer l’employabilité de 1200 NEETS dans 4 pays (France, Royaume-Uni, Irlande, Allemagne).

UNEET proposes an innovative approach to foster the professional integration of NEETs (young adults Not in Education, Employment, and Training), by matching the recruitment needs of the hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) sector with the existing labour supply of young adults in 7 NWE regions. The alarming youth unemployment rates in NWE regions (on average 18,8% in the project regions) and the need for better and integral solutions to tackle this issue, have pushed partner organisations to join their forces to conceive an ambitious employment driven project with a strong transnational dimension. An in-depth analysis has allowed the Consortium to identify the HORECA sector as the most suitable for the purposes of this project. Constant employee turnover, work force recruitment deficit (250.000 unfilled jobs per year in Europe), availability of broad entry-level positions and a favourable disposition to hire young people, confirm that this labour-intensive sector, which represents around 27 million of jobs, could benefit from the project and contribute to the sustainable professional integration of young adults. By joining the different but complementary expertise of each partner organisation, UNEET will foster NEETs’ access to the labour market through the creation of a digital employability programme with several tailored support modules to: identify the beneficiaries’ needs and skills required by the sector, reinforce NEETs’ competences and skills, strengthen the recruitment capacity and attractiveness of the HORECA sector, promote transnational professional mobility and boost the economic performance of the participants' regions. This unprecedented social innovation project aims to reinforce the employability of 1200 NEETs in 4 countries (France, UK, Ireland, Germany).
