Description (CS): Big Data a Cloud Computing jsou aktuální a stěžejní témata v oblasti digitalizace. Díky digitalizaci shromažďují firmy obrovská množství dat, která často zůstávají dále nevyužita. Především americké firmy dosahují obdivuhodných výsledků díky tomu, že svá data systematicky analyzují pomocí nejmodernějších Big Data technologií a získávají tak podklady pro automatizované aplikace tzv. Průmysl 4.0. To jim umožňuje získat náskok v oblasti informací a inovací a tím i konkurenční výhody. Potenciál Big Data ukazuje příklad spediční firmy US Xpress: tato velká americká společnost cíleně vyhodnocuje senzorická a prostorová data svého vozového parku a díky snižování časových prodlev a spotřeby pohonných hmot dosahuje ročně milionových úspor. Také velké německé a české koncerny v současnosti významně investují do oblasti Big Data. V ekonomické sféře dotačního území však dominují malé a střední podniky (MSP), které aplikace Big Data dosud téměř vůbec nevyužívají. Příčinou jsou především restriktivně vysoké investiční náklady do vlastní datové infrastruktury, chybějící průzkumy a know-how. Cloudové služby nabízejí firmám možnost využívat software jako servis a snížit tak vlastní náklady. V současnosti však v regionu chybí přesvědčivé příklady aplikací, upravené pro potřeby MSP a disponující spolehlivými analýzami nákladů a výnosů, ale také kompetentní nezávislá kontaktní místa. Navíc stále přetrvávají obavy v oblasti bezpečnosti dat, a to obzvlášť u přeshraničních služeb a transakcí. Regionální Big Data centrum, které zapojí MSP v regionu do výzkumu a inovací v oblasti Big Data a ve spolupráci s nimi vyvine spolehlivé a akceptované příklady aplikací, pomůže zlepšit situaci a vyrovnat tak znevýhodnění v konkurenceschopnosti vůči velkým koncernům. Potřebné kompetence dosud v regionu existují pouze odděleně v podobě vysoce výkonné IT infrastruktury pro ukládání a zpracování velkého množství dat (cloudová technologie a High-Performance-Computing v TC Písek) a datové analýzy (TC Grafenau). Záměrem tohoto projektu je vybudovat propojením těchto kompetencí plně vybavené Big Data centrum. Jeho součástí bude vedle vytvoření programu nadnárodního technologického transferu (složeného z pracovních setkání, seminářů, workshopů pro MSP a demonstračních laboratoří) především rozšíření technické spolupráce na přeshraniční úroveň. Aplikace Big Data jsou vysoce technicky komplexní, kooperace v této oblasti proto vyžaduje vývoj odpovídající softwarové architektury a ověření spolupráce na pilotních projektech. Díky projektu získají MSP v regionu trvalý přístup ke špičkovým moderním technologiím a budou integrovány do výzkumu a inovací v oblasti digitalizace. Jihočeská hospodářská komora zajistí trvalé propojení Big Data centra s regionální ekonomikou.

Durch Digitalisierung verfügen Unternehmen über riesige, oft noch weitgehend ungenutzte Datenmengen. Vor allem amerikanische Unternehmen erzielen spektakuläre Erfolge dadurch, dass sie ihre Daten mit modernsten Big-Data-Technologien systematisch analysieren und die Grundlage für automatisierte Industrie 4.0-Anwendungen schaffen. Dies ermöglicht Informations- und Innovationsvorsprünge sowie letztlich Wettbewerbsvorteile. Das Potential von Big Data verdeutlicht das Beispiel des Speditionsunternehmens US Xpress: das US-Großunternehmen wertet Sensor- und Geodaten seiner LKW-Flotte gezielt aus und realisiert durch Reduzierung von Leerlaufzeiten und Treibstoffverbrauch jährliche Einsparungen in Millionenhöhe. Auch deutsche und tschechische Großkonzerne rüsten mittlerweile massiv im Bereich Big Data auf. Die Wirtschaft in der Programmregion wird jedoch von kleineren und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) dominiert, in denen Big-Data-Anwendungen fast völlig fehlen. Ursache sind oft restriktiv hohe Investitionskosten in die eigene Dateninfrastruktur, Fehlen von Awareness und Know-how. Clouddienste bieten Firmen die Möglichkeit, Software als Service zu nutzen und die Kosten entsprechend zu variabilisieren. Zurzeit fehlen allerdings noch überzeugende, auf KMU zugeschnittene Anwendungsbeispiele mit belastbaren Kosten-Nutzen-Analysen sowie kompetente neutrale Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Zudem existieren Vorbehalte hinsichtlich Datensicherheit, besonders für grenzüberschreitende Dienste und Transaktionen. Ein regionales Big Data Zentrum, das die KMU der Region in Forschung und Innovation im Bereich Big Data einbindet und gemeinsam belastbare und akzeptierte Anwendungsbeispiele entwickelt, kann Abhilfe schaffen und den Wettbewerbsnachteil gegenüber den Großkonzernen ausgleichen. Bislang sind in der Region erforderliche Kompetenzen nur getrennt in hochleistungsfähige IT-Infrastruktur zur Speicherung und Verarbeitung der Datenmengen (Cloud-Technologie und High-Performance-Computing am TC Pisek) und Datenanalyse (TC Grafenau) vorhanden. In dem Vorhaben wird durch die Bündelung dieser Kompetenzen ein vollausgestattetes Big Data Zentrum aufgebaut. Hierzu gehört neben der Schaffung eines transnationalen Technologietransfer-Programms (bestehend aus Tagungen, Seminaren, KMU-Workshops und Demonstrationslaboren) vor allem der Aufbau der grenzüberschreitenden technischen Zusammenarbeit. Big-Data-Anwendungen sind technisch hochkomplex, eine Kooperation auf diesem Gebiet erfordert daher die Entwicklung einer entsprechenden Softwarearchitektur und die Erprobung der Zusammenarbeit in Pilot-Projekten. Durch das Projekt erhalten KMU der Region nachhaltig Zugang zu moderner Spitzentechnologie und werden in Forschung und Innovation im Bereich der Digitalisierung integriert. Die Südböhmische Wirtschaftskammer sorgt für die nachhaltige Vernetzung des Big Data Zentrums in der regionalen Wirtschaft.
Read more Description (EN): Big data and cloud computing are current key topics in the field of digitalisation. Through digitalisation, companies have huge, often largely unused amounts of data. Especially American companies achieve spectacular success by systematically analysing their data using state-of-the-art big data technologies and laying the foundation for automated Industry 4.0 applications. This enables information and innovation advances as well as ultimately competitive advantages. The potential of Big Data illustrates the example of the forwarding company US Xpress: the U.S. company specifically evaluates sensor and geodata of its truck fleet and realises annual savings in millions by reducing idle times and fuel consumption. Large German and Czech companies are also making massive upgrades in the area of big data. However, the economy in the programme region is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), where big data applications are almost completely absent. This is often due to restrictively high investment costs in your own data infrastructure, lack of awareness and know-how. Cloud services offer companies the opportunity to use software as a service and to increase the costs accordingly. At present, however, convincing examples of applications tailored to SMEs with reliable cost-benefit analyses as well as competent neutral contacts on site are still missing. There are also reservations regarding data security, especially for cross-border services and transactions. A regional big data center, which integrates the region’s SMEs in research and innovation in the field of big data and develops together robust and accepted application examples, can remedy and compensate for the competitive disadvantage compared to large corporations. So far, the region’s competences are only available separately in high-performance IT infrastructure for storing and processing data volumes (cloud technology and high-performance computing at TC Pisek) and data analysis (TC Grafenau). In the project, a fully equipped Big Data Centre will be set up by pooling these competencies. In addition to the creation of a transnational technology transfer programme (consisting of meetings, seminars, SME workshops and demonstration laboratories), this includes in particular the development of cross-border technical cooperation. Big data applications are technically highly complex, therefore cooperation in this field requires the development of a corresponding software architecture and the testing of cooperation in pilot projects. Through the project, SMEs in the region gain sustainable access to state-of-the-art technology and are integrated into research and innovation in the field of digitalisation. The South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce ensures the sustainable networking of the Big Data Centre in the regional economy.

Expected Results (CS): Situace MSP v oblasti výzkumu a inovací z pohledu výměny znalostí
Expected Results (DE): Situation von KMU im F&I-Bereich in Bezug auf den Wissensaustausch
Expected Outputs (CS): Digitalizace je jedním z hlavních témat výzkumu a inovací, takže na data je dnes pohlíženo jako na surovinu
21. století. Právě pro MSP je obtížné realizovat v této oblasti výzkumné a inovační projekty, protože jsou často spojeny s restriktivně vysokými investičními náklady do datové infrastruktury, chybí odpovídající know-how a často také vědomosti o užitečnosti systematické datové analýzy. Projekt dlouhodobě zlepší situaci MSP v této oblasti a podpoří tak spolupráci MSP s institucemi zaměřenými na výzkum a inovace, především s akademickou sférou.
Konkrétně bude výměna poznatků mezi MSP a institucemi zaměřenými na výzkum a inovace podporována následujícími způsoby:
1. Díky zapojení TC Písek a TC Grafenau na projektu spolupracují dvě zařízení zaměřená na výzkum a inovace, která společně budují přeshraniční technickou spolupráci. Obě disponují silnou sítí MSP, která se díky projektu rozšíří i na přeshraniční měřítko.
2. Díky Big Data centru vznikne pro MSP kontaktní místo pro výzkumné a inovační záměry v oblasti Big Data. To umožní transfer vědomostí mezi MSP a institucemi zaměřenými na výzkum a inovace.
3. V rámci projektu budou vytvořeny všeobecně srozumitelné publikace, které na základě skutečných příkladů aplikací pro potřeby MSP objasní aktuální stav techniky v oblasti Big Data s důrazem na jejich využití v praxi. Hlubší pohled do aktuálního stavu vědeckého bádání v oblasti techniky a možností zapojení do sítí získají MSP při účasti na programu transferu vědomostí.
Rozsáhlý networking, který bude provádět především Jihočeská hospodářská komora, umožní nejen výměnu znalostí mezi MSP a institucemi zaměřenými na výzkum a inovace, nýbrž také výměnu znalostí mezi MSP navzájem. Dostatek příležitostí k tomu poskytnou především konference a workshopy, určené pro MSP. MSP budou zapojeny přímo a v přeshraničním měřítku prostřednictvím pracovních setkání a seminářů.

21. Jahrhundert angesehen werden. Gerade KMU fällt es schwer, Forschungs- und Innovationsprojekte in diesem Bereich durchzuführen, da diese oft mit restriktiv hohen Investitionskosten in die Dateninfrastruktur verbunden sind, das Know-how und vielfach auch das Bewusstsein für den Nutzen systematischer Datenanalysen fehlen. Das Projekt verbessert die Situation von KMU in diesem Bereich nachhaltig und fördert insbesondere die Zusammenarbeit von KMU und F&I-Einrichtungen, speziell Hochschuleinrichtungen.
Konkret wird der Wissensaustausch zwischen KMU und F&I-Einrichtungen folgendermaßen gefördert:
1. Mit dem TC Pisek und dem TC Grafenau arbeiten in dem Projekt zwei F&I-Einrichtungen zusammen und bauen eine grenzübergreifende technische Zusammenarbeit auf. Beide verfügen über ein starkes KMU-Netzwerk, das sich nun grenzüberschreitend ergänzt.
2. Durch das Big Data Zentrum entsteht eine Anlaufstelle für KMU für Forschungs- und Innovationsvorhaben im Bereich Big Data. Somit wird ein dauerhafter Austausch zwischen KMU und F&I-Einrichtungen ermöglicht.
3. Im Rahmen des Projektes entstehen allgemeinverständliche Publikationen, in denen anhand realer, auf KMU zugeschnittener Anwendungsbeispiele der aktuelle Stand der Technik im Big Data anwendungsfreundlich vermittelt wird. Einen vertieften Einblick in den aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Stand der Technik und die Möglichkeit zum Netzwerken erhalten KMU durch das Wissenstransfer-Programm.
Das umfangreiche Networking, das v.a. die Südböhmische Wirtschaftskammer betreibt, ermöglicht nicht nur den Wissensaustausch zwischen KMU und F&I-Einrichtungen, sondern auch den Wissensaustausch der KMU untereinander. Hierzu bieten vor allem auch die Unternehmenskonferenzen und KMU-Workshops ausgiebig Möglichkeiten. KMU werden direkt und länderübergreifend über Tagungen und Seminare eingebunden.
