The project establishes a sustainable and sustainable institutional network between political, administrative and civil society actors in the Bavarian-Czech border area and between the universities of Pilsen and Bayreuth, which serves to solve future common societal challenges. Based on the needs of the associated partners and stakeholders, it develops strategies on migration and integration. The networking includes the cooperation of the universities of Pilsen and Bayreuth with their associated partners in the field of application-oriented research for the joint development of solution strategies between political, administrative and civil society institutions for the exchange of experience and joint application of the solution strategies. The current experience with the refugee situation shows that cross-border cooperation is necessary and desired to address the causes of social challenges. However, only national activities are taking place to contain associated negative consequences. The different conditions within the border area make it possible to develop and test model European strategies for both transit and reception regions. Topic-specific objectives are:
Strengthening cross-border coordination on immigration and integration (building networks, joint activities). Harmonisation and setting best practices for dealing with immigration and integration (common adaptation and solution strategies). Projects include:
Networking of universities (conferences, short internships, lectures)Analysis of migration-related structures, actors and processes in the border areaNetwork, exchange and development of strategies in 12 workshops, 2 excursions, 2 meetings with institutions from politics, administration and civil society Transfer to education through school workshops, lecture series and short internships for students
The results and experiences achieved by the project constitute a sustainable platform for future cooperation and thus contribute to integration, harmonisation and coherence in the Bavarian-Czech border area.

Das Projekt etabliert ein tragfähiges und nachhaltiges institutionelles Netzwerk zwischen politischen, administrativen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteuren im bayerisch-tschechischen Grenzraum und zwischen den Universitäten Pilsen und Bayreuth, das der Lösung zukünftiger, gemeinsamer gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen dient. Ausgehend von den Bedürfnissen der assoziierten Partner und Akteure entwickelt es Strategien zum Themenkomplex Migration und Integration. Die NETZWERKBILDUNG umfasst die Zusammenarbeitder Universitäten Pilsen und Bayreuth mit ihren assoziierten Partnern im Bereich der anwendungorientierten Forschung zur gemeinsamen Entwicklung von Lösungsstrategienzwischen politischen, administrativen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Institutionen zum Erfahrungsaustausch und gemeinsamer Anwendung der LösungsstrategienDie Partnerinstitutionen verfügen über eine herausragende, komplementäre Expertise zur praxisbezogenen Bearbeitung der gesellschaftlichen Herausforderung Migration und Integration, die nun erstmalig für ein regionales Projekt nutzbar gemacht wird. Die aktuellen Erfahrungen mit der Flüchtlingssituation zeigen, dass eine grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit zur Bearbeitung von Ursachen sozialer Herausforderungen notwendig und gewünscht ist. Es finden jedoch lediglich nationale Aktivitäten zur Eindämmung damit verbundener negativer Folgeerscheinungen statt. Die unterschiedlichen Voraussetzungen innerhalb des Grenzraums ermöglichen es, sowohl für Transit- als auch Aufnahmeregionen modellhafte, europäische Strategien zu entwickeln und zu erproben. THEMENSPEZIFISCHE ZIELE sind:
Stärkung der grenzübergreifenden Koordination in Bezug auf Einwanderung und Integration (Aufbau von Netzwerken, gemeinsame Aktivitäten)Harmonisierung und Festlegung von Best Practices für den Umgang mit Einwanderung und Integration (gemeinsame Adaptions- und Lösungsstrategien)Die PROJEKTAKTIVITÄTEN umfassen:

Předkládaný projekt vytvoří nosnou trvale udržitelnou institucionální síť mezi aktéry z oblasti politické, správní i ze sféry občanských sdružení, a to v česko-bavorském příhraničním prostoru, stejně jako mezi univerzitami v Plzni a Bayreuthu. Tato síť bude sloužit při společném řešení budoucích společenských výzev. Na základě potřeb asociovaných partnerů a aktérů budou vyvinuty strategie k tematickému komplexu migrace a integrace.
VYTVOŘENÁ SÍŤ bude zahrnovat spolupráci následujících subjektů:
univerzit v Bayreuthu a Plzni společně s jejich asociovanými partnery v oblasti aplikovaného výzkumu za účelem společného vytváření strategií řešenípolitických, správních institucí a organizací z neziskové sféry za účelem výměny zkušeností a společné aplikace strategií řešeníPartnerské instituce disponují kvalitní, komplementární expertízou k prakticky orientovanému zpracování problematiky „migrace a integrace“, která bude nyní poprvé využita v rámci regionálního projektu. Aktuální zkušenosti se situací kolem tzv. uprchlické krize ukazují, že přeshraniční spolupráce je nutná a žádoucí pro zpracování příčin sociálních problémů. Přesto jsou však doposud realizovány pouze aktivity vedoucí k zamezení negativních důsledků na úrovni jednotlivých národních států. Rozdílné podmínky a předpoklady v rámci pohraničí umožňují vytvářet a ověřit modelové evropské strategie pro tranzitní i přijímající regiony. SPECIFICKÝMI CÍLI VZHLEDEM K TÉMATU tak jsou:
posílení přeshraniční koordinace v souvislosti s imigrací a integrací (tvorba sítí, společné aktivity)harmonizace a stanovení příkladů dobré praxe pro práci v oblasti imigrace a integrace (společné adaptační strategie a návrhy řešení).PROJEKTOVÉ AKTIVITY zahrnují:

Das Projekt steigert durch folgende Resultate den Wert des Ergebnisindikators:
(a) Einrichtung eines gemeinsamen Wissenszentrums an beiden Universitäten zur Verbreitung von Ergebnissen und Best Practice Beispielen sowie zum grenzüberschreitenden Austausch von Erfahrungen
(b) Onlineplattform zur Dokumentation, Vernetzung und Außendarstellung
(c) 1 Zusammenfassende Analyse der grundlegenden Strukturen und Prozesse zu Migration und Integration für das ganze Fördergebiet mit einer einheitlichen Struktur (frei zugängliche elektronische Form)
(d) 1 unterzeichneter bilateraler Vertrag zwischen den Partneruniversitäten
(e) 2 Fachpublikationen, die die Erkenntnisse der realisierten Forschungen zusammenfassen. Der Fokus wird auf die Anwendung der Erkenntnisse durch Zielorganisationen, Fallstudien und Best Practice Beispiele der Vorgehensweisen und Instrumente gelegt (z.B. Instrumente für die Inklusion von Kindern mit Migrationshintergrund in Schulen, Strategien gegen die soziale Exklusion von Flüchtlingen usw.)
(f) Kurzpraktika für Studierende bei beteiligten Institutionen (6 CZ, 6 BY)
(g) 24 Vertreter der öffentlichen Verwaltung, Politik und Zivilgesellschaft aus CZ nehmen an einer zweitägigen Fachexkursion nach BY teil
