Description (EN):

The proposed project seeks to create conditions for "smart cities" cooperation between the partners with the use of modern technologies, where systems of interaction will be developed primarily between the Municipalities and the citizens and then with businesses and visitors. The development of interaction systems and the increased use of ICT in areas of common interest will lead to the dismantling of the services of the Municipalities, as there will be electronic service to the citizens. This fact will contribute to the communication and cooperation between the municipalities with more efficient and immediate way by reducing red tape, increasing transparency and helping simplify procedures with time and cost for services and users. Conditions will be created for active participation and communication with the authorities but also for direct and valid information on issues of common interest

Το προτεινόμενο έργο επιδιώκει την δημιουργία συνθηκών συνεργασίας «έξυπνων πόλεων» μεταξύ των εταίρων όπου με την χρήση σύγχρονων τεχνολογιών θα αναπτυχθούν συστήματα αλληλεπίδρασης πρωτίστως των Δήμων με τους δημότες, και έπειτα με τις επιχειρήσεις και τους επισκέπτες τους. Η ανάπτυξη συστημάτων αλληλεπίδρασης και η αύξηση της χρήσης ΤΠΕ σε τομείς κοινού ενδιαφέροντος, θα οδηγήσουν στην αποφόρτιση των υπηρεσιών των Δήμων, καθώς θα υπάρχει ηλεκτρονική εξυπηρέτηση των δημοτών, θα συμβάλουν στην επίτευξη της επικοινωνίας και της συνεργασίας μεταξύ των υπηρεσιών των δήμων, με αποτέλεσμα η λειτουργία τους να γίνεται πιο αποτελεσματική και άμεση, θα μειώσουν την γραφειοκρατία, θα αυξήσουν την διαφάνειας και θα συμβάλλουν στην απλοποίηση των διαδικασιών μειώνοντας το χρόνο και το κόστος για τις υπηρεσίες και τους χρήστες, ενώ παράλληλα θα δημιουργήσουν συνθήκες για ενεργό συμμετοχή και επικοινωνία με τις αρχές αλλά και άμεση και έγκυρη ενημέρωσης σε ζητήματα κοινού ενδιαφέροντος

Achievements (EN):

PREPARED THE EXPLORE PAFOS DIGITAL DIGITAL PLATFORM WITH EXCLUSIVE REALITY TECHNOLOGY WITH SPECIFIED SPEECH TYPES: Another step to transform Paphos into a digital and "smart" city was made by the Municipality of Paphos. An online platform and digital application Explore Pafos, which runs Augmented Reality technology, was presented at a conference held this morning as part of the European Smart Cities program. The platform is available through the www.explorepafos.org link, and the app is available from the Apple Store and Google Play. The platform is a digital tour guide of Paphos which has multimedia information (text, photos, videos, 360) on the most important points of interest of the province, classified by category: Culture, Environment, Tourism, Services. It also has an interactive map with points of interest, event calendar and multilingual content in Greek, English, Russian, Hebrew and German.

Expected Results (EN):

The expected results of the project are: - Developing systems of interaction and increasing the use of ICT in areas of common interest that will lead to the discharging of the services of the Municipality, as there will be an electronic service to the citizens. They will also help to achieve communication and co-operation between municipalities making their operation more efficient and immediate. - Reducing bureaucracy, increasing transparency and simplifying procedures will reduce time and costs for services and users and will contribute dynamically for improving living standards. The citizens wii have the ability to actively participate and communicate with the authorities but also to be provided with direct and valid information on issues of common interest.

Expected Results (EL):

Τα αναμενόμενα αποτελέσματα του έργου είναι: - Η ανάπτυξη συστημάτων αλληλεπίδρασης και η αύξηση της χρήσης ΤΠΕ σε τομείς κοινού ενδιαφέροντος, τα οποία θα οδηγήσουν στην αποφόρτιση των υπηρεσιών του Δήμου, καθώς θα υπάρχει ηλεκτρονική εξυπηρέτηση των δημοτών. Επίσης θα συμβάλουν στην επίτευξη της επικοινωνίας και της συνεργασίας μεταξύ των υπηρεσιών των δήμων, με αποτέλεσμα η λειτουργία τους να γίνεται πιο αποτελεσματική και άμεση. - Η μείωση της γραφειοκρατίας, η αύξηση της διαφάνειας και η απλοποίηση των διαδικασιών θα μειώσουν το χρόνο και το κόστος για τις υπηρεσίες και τους χρήστες και θα συμβάλουν δυναμικά στην βελτίωση του βιοτικού επιπέδου. Σε αυτό νευραλγικό ρόλο θα παίζει και η δυνατότητα, των πολιτών, για ενεργό συμμετοχή και επικοινωνία με τις αρχές αλλά και η άμεση και έγκυρη ενημέρωσης για ζητήματα κοινού ενδιαφέροντος

Expected Outputs (EN):

The expected outputs of the project are: a) the development of a common Digital Tourism / Culture and Entrepreneurship platform that will include, among other things, web portal services, newsletter, polls, b) the development of digital applications of e-democracy and participation in the Municipality of Paphos, which include: e-signatures platform, e-polls platform, e-community platform, c) the development of digital applications of e-democracy and participation in the Municipality of Lesvos: where, in addition to the above, there is also a web-based complaints system capable of recording problems and complaints of citizens, d) support of E-Government applications in the Municipality of Chania through the provision of equipment including 4 Infokiosk 8 special complaints loggers. Outputs also include: - the digital tour of the Municipality of Chania, the digitized material of cultural and tourist interest that will be used to create the content of the above applications, - the business plans for the full implementation of the actions of "smart" cities; - the Strategic Plan for Marketing of Cities and the organization of a workshop on the role of local authorities in the challenge of "smart" cities "aiming at the exchange of good practices and know-how; to enhance the project's discretion. - the organization of info days for this project by distributing informative and promotional material, projections and speeches

Expected Outputs (EL):

Οι αναμενόμενες εκροές του έργου είναι: α) η ανάπτυξη κοινής ψηφιακής πλατφόρμας Τουρισμού/Πολιτισμού και Επιχειρηματικότητας που θα περιλαμβάνει μεταξύ άλλων υπηρεσίες διαδικτυακής πύλης, newsletter, Polls κ.α, β) η ανάπτυξη ψηφιακών εφαρμογών ηλεκτρονικής δημοκρατίας και συμμετοχής στο Δήμο Πάφου που περιλαμβάνουν: πλατφόρμα ηλεκτρονικής συμμετοχής-ηλεκτρονικών υπογραφών, πλατφόρμα ηλεκτρονικών δημοσκοπήσεων, πλατφόρμα ηλεκτρονικών κοινοτήτων κ.α, γ) η ανάπτυξη ψηφιακών εφαρμογών ηλεκτρονικής δημοκρατίας και συμμετοχής στο Δήμο Λέσβου: όπου εκτός από τα παραπάνω περιλαμβάνεται επίσης διαδικτυακό σύστημα καταγραφής παραπόνων με δυνατότητα καταγραφής προβλημάτων και παραπόνων των πολιτών, δ) υποστήριξη εφαρμογών E-Government στο Δήμο Χανίων μέσω της προμήθειας εξοπλισμού που περιλαμβάνει 4 Infokiosk 8 ειδικά μηχανήματα καταγραφής παραπόνων. Στις εκροές επίσης συμπεριλαμβάνονται: - η ψηφιακή περιήγηση στο Δήμο Χανίων, το ψηφιοποιημένο υλικό πολιτιστικού και τουριστικού ενδιαφέροντος που θα αξιοποιηθεί στη δημιουργία περιεχομένου των παραπάνω εφαρμογών, - τα επιχειρησιακά σχέδια για την πλήρη εφαρμογή των δράσεων των «έξυπνων» πόλεων, - το στρατηγικό σχέδιο Marketing των πόλεων και η διοργάνωση workshop με θέμα τον ρόλο της τοπική αυτοδιοίκηση στην πρόκληση των «έξυπνων» πόλεων» στοχεύοντας στην ανταλλαγή καλών πρακτικών-τεχνογνωσίας και στην ενίσχυση της διακριτικότητας του έργου. - η διοργάνωση ημερίδων πληροφόρησης της εν λόγω συνεργασίας με διανομή ενημερωτικού και διαφημιστικού υλικού, προβολές και ομιλίες.
