Die deutsch-dänische Programmregion wird als eine Region mit großem Wachstumspotential betrachtet. Bei einem Großteil der Bürger in der Fehmarnbelt-Region ist das Verständnis, in einer gemeinsamen Grenzregion zu leben, noch nicht spürbar vorhanden und bedarf einer aktiven Begleitung im Integrationsprozess. Daher ist es angebracht, kulturelle und sportliche Aktivitäten zwischen Bürgern der Region als verbindendes Mittel für eine nachhaltige Gemeinschaft zu unterstützen. Mit Hilfe eines Mikroprojekte-Pools sollen kulturelle und sportliche Aktivitäten zwischen Vereinen, Institutionen und Bürgern, darunter auch Kinder und Jugendliche, grenzüberschreitende Begegnungen ermöglicht werden. Einmal jährlich sollen größere kulturelle oder sportliche Events in der Grenzregion durchgeführt werden, welche die Gemeinschaft fördern und den Teilnehmern ein besseres kulturelles Verständnis vermitteln. Der Erwerb von deutschen und dänischen Sprachkenntnissen und interkulturellen Kompetenzen soll bei allen Aktivitäten ein wichtiger Bestandteil sein, indem die Teilnehmer der Mikroprojekte durch gemeinsame Reflexion diese Kompetenzen auch in Bezug auf die jeweiligen Wirkungsfelder stärken. Auf Basis der durchgeführten Aktivitäten sollen Best-Practise-Methoden zur Stärkung der o.g. Kompetenzen entwickelt und in der grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit weiter verwendet werden. Die Ergebnisse des Projektes werden für alle am Projekt beteiligten Akteure von großem Nutzen sein, da die Teilnehmer durch die gemeinsamen Aktivitäten neue Kompetenzen entwickeln und nach Abschluss des Projektes verfestigen können. Das Projekt wurde in Zusammenarbeit der Projektpartner auf Basis ihrer Erfahrungen und Bedarfe im östlichen Teil der deutsch-dänischen Programmregion entwickelt. Alle im Projekt statt findenden Aktivitäten erfordern mindestens einen dänischen und einen deutschen Partner, sodass dieses Projekt nur als grenzüberschreitende Initiative durchgeführt werden kann. Innovativ an diesem Projekt ist die Schaffung einer interkulturellen Lernperspektive. Der Partnerkreis wird die grenzüberschreitenden Aktivitäten und Events gemeinsam durchführen, wodurch Methoden für die Schaffung einer verbesserten kulturellen Integration entwickelt und in der weiteren Arbeit nachhaltig verankert werden.

Den dansk-tyske programregion betragtes som en region med potentiale for vækst. For en stor del af befolkningens vedkommende, især i regionen omkring Femern Bælt, er bevidstheden om at leve i en fælles grænse-region imidlertid endnu ikke sporbar men kræver en mere aktiv involverende integrationsproces. I denne forbindelse synes det oplagt at anvende kulturelle og sportslige aktiviteter som middel til at skabe nye bæredygtige fællesskaber gennem det direkte møde mellem mennesker. Gennem en mikroprojektpulje vil projektet støtte gennemførelsen af en række kulturelle og sportslige samarbejder mellem foreninger, institutioner og borgere, for på den vis at give såvel børn, unge som voksne indbyggere i regionen muligheden for at indgå i nye grænseoverskridende relationer. Derudover skal der årligt afholdes større kulturelle eller sportslige events i regionen, som understøtter fællesskabet samt giver deltagerne en bedre kulturel forståelse for hinanden. Tilegnelsen af danske og tyske sproglige og interkulturelle kompetencer vil være en vigtig bestanddel af samtlige projektets aktiviteter, fx hvor deltagerne i de enkelte mikroprojekter gennem fælles refleksion skal styrke deres interkulturelle kommunikative kompetencer samtidig med, at de lærer mere om hinandens virkefelter. I takt med gennemførelsen af aktiviteterne skal en metode til styrkelse af interkulturelle og sproglige kompetencer, udvikles, formidles og forankres til brug ved videre grænseoverskridende arbejde i regionen. Projektets resultater vil være til stor nytte for alle medvirkende i projektet, da deltagerne gennem de enkelte aktiviteter både involveres i udviklingen af nye kompetencer, og er med til at forankre dem, også efter projektets afslutning. Projektet er udviklet i et samarbejde mellem de deltagende partnere, på basis af erfaringer fra og behov i den østlige del af den dansk-tyske progamregion. Alle projektets aktiviteter kræver deltagelse af min. en dansk og en tysk partner, og projektet kan således alene gennemføres som et grænseoverskridende initiativ. Det innovative ved projektet er at anlægge et interkulturelt læringsperspektiv på såvel partnerkredsens fælles opgaver, som de grænseoverskridende aktiviteter og events, sådan at der kan udvikles metoder til at skabe en forankret og øget kulturel integration i regionen.

The Danish-German borderregion is generally looked upon as a region with a potential for growth. However, the feeling of living in a common borderregion is not yet traceable amongst a large part of the population, but requires a more active and involving process of integration. Therefore, it seems obvious to use activities within culture and sports as a means to create new sustainable communities trough the direct meeting between people. By the use of a Microproject pool the project will support the implementation of culture and sports cooperations between associations, institutions and citizens, in order to give children, youth and adults from the region the possibility to partake in new cross-border relationships. In addition, there will be held bigger annual events in the region within culture or sports, which will support the community as well as giving the participants a better understanding of eachother. The aquisition of Danish and German linguistic and intercultural competences will be an important aspect of all the activities within the project, i.e. when participants in the microprojects will strengthen their intercultural competences through a common reflection while also learning more about the practices on ‘the other side’ of the border. Parallel with the carrying out of the activities, a method for the strengthening of intercultural and linguistic competences will be developed, communicated and anchored among the participants and partners for further use in cross-border activities in the region. The project results will be of great use for all participants in the project, as the participants – through the activities – will be involved in the development of the new competences as well as the anchoring of the new competences, also after the end of the project period. The project is developed through a co-operation between the participating partners, on the basis of experiences and needs in the eastern part of the Danish-German programme region. All the project activites will require the participation of minimum one Danish and one German partner, thus underlining that the project can only be accomplished as a cross-border initiative. The innovative character of the project is to bring an intercultural learning perspective into use both regardring the common assignments of the project partners and the cross-border microprojects and events, thus securing the development of methods which will create a sustainable and increased culturel integration in the region for years to come.

Im Projekt kultKIT stellten sich die 10 Projektpartner der Herausfor-derung des Wassers und bauten Brücken zwischen den Menschen im Grenzgebiet der Fehmarn Belt Region. Das KIT in kultKIT steht für Kompetenz, Interaktion und Verständnis und der Name kultKIT bezieht sich auf das Ziel des Projekts, die Kompetenzen in der Nachbarsprache und das gegenseitige Kulturverständnis der Deutschen und der Dänen zu verbessern. Um das Projektziele von kultKIT zu erreichen, wurde ein Teil der EU-Fördermittel an kleinere Projektakteure in den Bereichen Kultur, Sport, Bildung und Freizeit weitergege-ben, um die deutsch-dänische Zusammenarbeit in der Grenzregion zu fördern. Das Projekt hat mit der Errei-chung seiner Zielsetzung einen großen grenzüberschreitenden Mehrwert erreicht, der sowohl im besseren interkulturellen Verständnis der Bürgerinnen und Bürger, darunter einem größeren Einblick in die Kultur und Kenntnis der Lebensweisen auf der jeweils anderen Seite der Grenze, als auch in der Zusammenarbeit der kult-KIT-Projektpartner manifestiert. Förderung von deutsch-dänischen Mikroprojekten (AP3) Das kultKIT-Projekt verfügte über zwei Fördermitteltöpfe, einerseits für die Erstattung von Transportkosten in Verbindung mit Treffen zur Vorbereitung von Projekten und andererseits Mittel zur Durchführung von deutsch-dänischen Mikroprojekten. Mit der Förderung von Mikroprojekten, in denen sich die Menschen in der deutsch-dänischen Grenzregion persönlich begegneten und neue Gemeinschaften gebildet haben, hat kultKIT dazu beigetragen, das interkulturelle Verständnis zu stärken und die Möglichkeiten für Zusammenarbeiten mit Akt-euren auf der anderen Seite der Grenze sichtbar und nutzbar zu machen. In den Jahren 2016-2018 sind 39 Projektanträge bei kultKIT eingegangen. Es wurden 35 Projekte bewilligt, von denen jedoch 3 nicht durchgeführt wurden. Insgesamt haben 2.156 Menschen an den durchgeführten Projek-ten teilgenommen. Durch den Transportpool wurden 30 Treffen mit insgesamt 226 Teilnehmern finanziert. Veranstaltungen (AP2 und AP3) Außer der deutsch-dänischen Mikroprojekte hat das kultKIT-Projekt selbst 5 deutsch-dänische Informations-veranstaltungen zu den Fördermitteln und 4 größere Projektevents durchgeführt. Entwicklung und Austausch von Methodenen (‚promising practices‘) (AP4) Das Ziel des Arbeitspaketes zur Methodenentwicklung war die Ausarbeitung von ‘promising practices’-Methoden/Lehren aus den im Projekt durchgeführten Aktivitäten zu erstellen. Die konkreten Ergebnisse wer-den Facht Sheets und Leitfäden für eine erfolgreiche, grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit zur Stärkung der interkulturellen und sprachlichen Kompetenzen zusammengefasst. Die so entstandenen Produkte sollen den Projektpartnern, Bürgern, Einrichtungen und Vereinen der Region sowie anderen Akteuren, etwa anderen Grenzregionen, als Inspirationsquelle dienen. Vertretungen aus Kommu-nen und Schulen der Partnergemeinschaft diskutierten über Aufgaben zum Schulwesen und Sport und lernten sich kennen. Zusammenarbeit der kultKIT-Projektpartner (AP1) Die 10 Projektpartner des kultKIT-Projekts, insbesondere die beteiligten Kommunen, Städte und Kreise, haben eine gut funktionierende und vertrauensvolle kommunale Zusammenarbeit quer über die deutsch-dänische Grenze in der Fehmarnbelt Region etabliert. Diese Zusammenarbeit manifestiert sich u. A. in einem interkom-munalen Fachaustausch und der Erweiterung von Kompetenzen bei den Verwaltungen sowie in der Entwick-lung eines Netzwerks zwischen den beteiligten Akteuren. Hier tragen auch die konzeptionellen und methodi-schen Arbeiten im AP4 zur Verstetigung der Zusammenarbeit bei (z.B. Portal/Themenseite zu deutsch-dänischem Schüleraustausch, Konzept zum Nachbarsprachenlernen).

"I projektet kultKIT deltog de 10 projektpartnere i udforskningen af vandet og byggede broer mellem indbyggerne i grænseområdet i Femern Bælt-regionen. KIT i kultKIT står for kompetence, interaktion og forståelse, og navnet kultKIT henviser til projektets mål om at forbedre kompetencerne i nabosproget og den gensidige kulturelle forståelse af tyskerne og danskerne. For at nå kultKITs projektmål blev en del af EU-finansieringen givet videre til mindre projektaktører inden for kultur, sport, uddannelse og fritid for at fremme det tysk-danske samarbejde i grænseregionen. In the project kultKIT, the 10 project partners engaged in the exploration of the water and built bridges between the people in the border area of the Fehmarn Belt region. The KIT in kultKIT stands for competence, interaction and understanding and the name kultKIT refers to the aim of the project to improve the competences in the neighbouring language and the mutual cultural understanding of the Germans and the Danes. In order to achieve the project objectives of kultKIT, part of the EU funding was passed on to smaller project actors in the fields of culture, sport, education and leisure in order to promote German-Danish cooperation in the border region. The project has achieved great cross-border added value with the achievement of its objective, which manifests both in the better intercultural understanding of citizens, including a greater insight into the culture and knowledge of the ways of life on the other side of the border, as well as in the cooperation of the kult-KIT project partners. Funding of German-Danish microprojects (AP3) The kultKIT project had two funding pots, one for the reimbursement of transport costs in connection with meetings to prepare projects and on the other hand funds for the implementation of German-Danish microprojects. By promoting microprojects in which people in the German-Danish border region met in person and formed new communities, kultKIT has helped to strengthen intercultural understanding and make the opportunities for cooperation with actors on the other side of the border visible and usable. In 2016-2018, kultKIT received 39 project applications. 35 projects were approved, of which 3 were not implemented. A total of 2,156 people participated in the projects carried out. The TRANSPORTPOOL financed 30 meetings with a total of 226 participants. Events (AP2 and AP3) In addition to the German-Danish microprojects, the kultKIT project itself organised 5 German-Danish information events on the funding and 4 major project events. Cooperation of kultKIT project partners (AP1) The 10 project partners of the kultKIT project, in particular the municipalities, cities and districts involved, have established a well-functioning and trusting municipal cooperation across the German-Danish border in the Fehmarnbelt region. This cooperation is, among other things, manifested in an intercommunal exchange of expertise and the expansion of competences in administrations as well as in the development of a network between the actors involved. Here also the conceptual and methodological work in the AP4 contributes to the continuation of the cooperation (e.g. portal/theme page on German-Danish student exchange, concept for neighbouring language learning).
