Vandaag wordt steeds meer erkend dat design een vitale rol speelt in het proces dat ideeën in werkelijkheid omzet en er rendabele producten en diensten van maakt die aangepast zijn aan de behoeften van de gebruikers. Het is duidelijk dat ondernemingen, vooral kmo’s en kleine en middelgrote industrieën, design nog altijd weinig of niet genoeg als een marktgerichte, transversale aanpak en vaardigheid zien om er een echte hefboom voor ontwikkeling van te maken. Daarom heeft het Transregionaal project voor innovatie en promotie van design – II de ambitie om van de grensstreek een referentie te maken voor kmo’s en kleine en middelgrote industrieën die hun concurrentievermogen in projecten en op nieuwe markten willen ontwikkelen dankzij designmiddelen. De belangrijkste uitdagingen zijn de integratie van designelementen benadrukken als hefboom voor waardecreatie in ondernemingen, zodat zij hun designinvesteringen optimaal kunnen benutten op de markt, en de ontwikkeling van een performante begeleidingsmethodologie op basis van gedeelde middelen. Deze grensoverschrijdende samenwerking zal de impact van de activiteiten van het project vermenigvuldigen en een sterke partnerschapsdynamiek creëren tussen ontwerpers en ondernemingen.

Aujourd’hui, un avis de plus en plus partagé admet que le design joue un rôle essentiel dans la concrétisation des idées et leur transformation en produits et services profitables adaptés aux besoins des utilisateurs. Force est de constater que les entreprises, et surtout les PME/PMI, intègrent toujours peu ou pas suffisamment le design, en tant que démarche et compétence transversale orientée marché, pour en faire un véritable levier de développement. Le projet « Transregional project for Innovation and Promotion of Design – II » porte alors l’ambition de faire de la zone transfrontalière une référence pour les PME/PMI qui souhaitent développer leur compétitivité sur des projets et nouveaux marchés grâce aux ressources du design. Les principaux défis sont alors d’accentuer l’intégration des ressources du design comme levier de création de valeur au sein des entreprises, les accompagner dans la valorisation sur les marchés de leurs investissements en matière de design et développer une méthodologie d’accompagnement performante basée sur des outils partagés. Cette coopération au niveau transfrontalier va multiplier l’impact des activités du projet et créer une dynamique partenariale forte entre acteurs du design et entreprises.

Today, it is increasingly recognised that design plays a vital role in turning ideas into reality and turning them into profitable products and services tailored to the needs of users. It is clear that companies, and especially SMEs/SMIs, still incorporate little or not enough design, as a market-oriented transversal approach and skill, to make it a real lever for development. The “Trans-regional project for Innovation and Promotion of Design – II” therefore aims to make the cross-border region a reference for SMEs/SMIs wishing to develop their competitiveness on projects and new markets thanks to design resources. The main challenges are then to increase the integration of design resources as a lever for creating value within companies, to help them get the most of their design investments in the markets and to develop a high-performance support methodology based on shared tools. This cross-border cooperation will multiply the impact of the project’s activities and create a strong partnership dynamic between design stakeholders and companies.

Présentation du projet TRIPOD-II : https://www.interreg-fwvl.eu/fr/tripod-ii Les opérateurs français, wallons et flamands, tous spécialistes du design et/ou de l’accompagnement des entreprises, associent et partagent leurs méthodes, outils, savoir-faire et expériences, et proposent conjointement 4 activités complémentaires aux entreprises et designers : -L'accompagnement des entreprises dans leurs projets (WP3) : la démarche s'appuie tout d'abord sur un diagnostic stratégique et design, mené dans la mesure du possible par un bînome transfrontalier. A l'issue de cette première phase, les conseillers établissent des recommandations et proposent un parcours personnalisé pour la mise en oeuvre du projet de l’entreprise, que ce soit par des séances de créativité ou l’intervention d’un designer. Tous les dossiers sont présentés lors des comités d’évaluation où sont présents des opérateurs des trois versants pour compléments, préconisation de designers et validation des recommandations. Résultats au 30 septembre 2020 : •70 diagnostics (29F-40W-1VL) •10 projets ont bénéficié de séances de créativité (7W-3VL) •21 interventions designers (10F-11W) -Une offre de formations pour le développement des compétences (WP4) : construites en synergie avec les WP3 et WP5, les premières formations aux méthodes et outils du design ont été proposées aux entreprises dès le mois d'avril 2017. Des workshops plus spécifiques ont été mis en place à partir du deuxième semestre du projet. Les sessions dédiées aux prescripteurs, pour accentuer les synergies avec les projets, ont démarré au mois de mai 2017. Les sessions destinées aux designers ont démarré au mois d’octobre 2017. Nous faisons une distinction entre Formation et Workshop : •formation : journée complète qui allie théorie et exercices •workshop : demi-journée ne comportant que des exercices Résultats au 30 septembre 2020 : 38 modules (formations+workshops-masterclass) à destination des entreprises, des designers et des prescripteurs pour 197 structures différentes (88F-68W-41VL). -La promotion et valorisation des bénéfices du design (WP5) : une première visite d'entreprise wallonne a été réalisée ainsi qu’une visite chez Décathlon en décembre 2019. Plusieurs articles ont été rédigés sur nos manifestations comme les Designer Club, les formations, séance de co-création avec les entreprises… Suite à la réorientation du Label TRIPOD-II, 2 outils questionnaires ont été finalisés et testés et sont encours de diffusion. Des vidéos inspirantes de promotion du projet et du programme sont en cours de finalisation. Résultats au 30 septembre 2020 : 10 articles + 2 visites d’entreprises. -La structuration de réseaux (WP6) : Un DESIGNER CLUB transfrontalier a été mis en place et a eu lieu 8 fois depuis le début du programme et 2 fois en Interclub avec des clubs d’entreprises de la région de Mons (B) le 07/11/2017 et de Lille (F) le 26/09/2019. 1ère édition de « DESIGN FUSION », grand meeting transfrontalier biennale en octobre 2018. La seconde, initialement prévue en octobre 2020 a été reportée au 2 février 2021. Résultats au 30 septembre 2020 : 8 DESIGNER CLUB et 2 Interclubs. 313 participants différents (165F–65W–83VL) De nombreuses synergies dans GoToS3 ont émergé avec notamment les projets Protopitch 3.0, C2L3Play, Codesign Aliment, Fast to Market, Luminoptex, Texacov, Biocompal, Bioharv mais aussi avec ProfilWood (portefeuille Feel Wood) et OBS, que ce soit dans l’accompagnement des entreprises, la formation, dans l’organisation d’événements communs et le relais d’appels à projets. TRIPOD-II était présent à l’événement mid-term « Cross Innovation » organisé par GoToS3 le 10/10/2019 avec pour thème le Design Fiction. Presentation of the TRIPOD-II project: https://www.interreg-fwvl.eu/fr/tripod-ii French, Walloon and Flemish operators, all specialists in the design and/or support of companies, combine and share their methods, tools, know-how and experiences, and jointly offer 4 complementary activities to companies and designers: —Accompaniment of companies in their projects (WP3): the approach is based first of all on a strategic and design diagnosis, carried out as far as possible by a cross-border bînome. At the end of this first phase, the advisors draw up recommendations and propose a personalised journey for the implementation of the company’s project, whether through creativity sessions or the intervention of a designer. All files are presented at the evaluation committees where operators from the three sides are present for additions, recommendations from designers and validation of recommendations. Results as of 30 September 2020: •70 diagnostics (29F-40W-1VL) •10 projects benefited from creativity sessions (7W-3VL) •21 designer interventions (10F-11W) -A training offer for skills development (WP4): built in synergy with WP3 and WP5, the first trainings on design methods and tools were offered to companies in April 2017. The second, originally scheduled for October 2020 has been postponed to 2 February 2021. Aantal ondernemingen die steun ontvangen: 200. Dit aantal omvat de 130 ondernemingen die steun ontvangen in het kader van MT3 en 25 ondernemingen die opleidingen krijgen zonder een andere vorm van steun, evenals 45 andere ondernemingen die deelnemen aan de 'Design Meetings'. Aantal nieuwe ondernemingen die steun ontvangen: 30. Het betreft de ondernemingen die minder dan 3 jaar oud zijn bij de start van het project of ondersteunde creators die hun eigen bedrijf starten vóór het eind van het project. Aantal deelnemers aan gezamenlijke, plaatselijke tewerkstellingsinitiatieven en gezamenlijke opleidingssessies: 229. Aantal grensoverschrijdende ondersteunende acties die de mobiliteit en de tewerkstelling van doelgroepen aanmoedigen: 75. De twee activiteiten van de module ‘Structurering en ontwikkeling van een grensoverschrijdend designnetwerk’ dragen bij aan de versterking van de doelwaarde op programmaniveau en de bevordering van mobiliteit over de grenzen van de drie regio’s heen, om uitwisselingen tussen de verschillende doelgroepen te stimuleren. Aantal gezamenlijke opleidingssessies: 63. Alle opleidingssessies zullen gezamenlijk worden ontwikkeld. De partners en in het bijzonder zij die al opleiding aanbieden, zullen uiteraard verder bouwen op hun ervaring en expertise, maar met het doel samen een specifiek en uniek aanbod te ontwikkelen dat beantwoordt aan de bijzondere behoeften van ondernemingen in de grensstreek die innoveren door design.

Nombre d'entreprises bénéficiant d'un soutien : 200. Sont comptabilisées ici les 130 entreprises accompagnées dans le cadre du MT3, ainsi que 25 entreprises bénéficiant de formations sans autres formes de soutien, et 45 autres entreprises participant aux « Meetings Design ». Nombre de nouvelles entreprises bénéficiant d'un soutien : 30. Il s’agit ici d’entreprises de moins de 3 ans à la date de démarrage du projet ou de créateurs accompagnés, qui créent leur entreprise avant la fin du projet. Nombre de participants à des initiatives locales communes en matière d'emploi et à des formations communes : 229. Nombre d’actions d’accompagnement en transfrontalier favorisant la mobilité et l'emploi des publics cibles : 75. Les deux activités du module « Structuration et développement de Réseau Transfrontalier du Design » contribuent à renforcer la valeur cible au niveau du programme et à favoriser la mobilité de part et d’autre des frontières des trois régions afin de favoriser les échanges entre les différents groupes cibles. Nombre de sessions de formation conjointes : 63. Toutes les sessions de formation seront développées conjointement. Les partenaires et notamment ceux proposant déjà une offre de formation s’appuieront bien entendu sur leur expérience et leur expertise, mais dans le but de développer conjointement une offre spécifique, inédite et répondant aux besoins particuliers des entre prises du territoire transfrontalier dans leur démarche d’innovation par le design.
