Scopo generale del progetto presente è lo sviluppo/evoluzione equilibrato e sostenibile dell'intera regione Wipptal. Oltre a ciò si mira all’aumento della competitività dei due territori interessati. Attraverso misure 'people to people' verrà migliorato il processo d'inte-grazione transfrontaliero. Attraverso il focus decisamente regionale dei piccoli progetti si mira a rafforzare nella popolazione l’identificazione con l’UE risp. con l’obiettivo della cooperazione oltre i confini e con ciò di ottenere una decisa valorizzazione dell’immagine. Das übergeordnete Ziel des Projektes ist die ausgewogene und nachhaltige Entwicklung der "Gesamtregion" sowie der grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit. Darüber hinaus wird eine Stärkung der Attraktivität und Steigerung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der beiden beteiligten Regionen als Ziel angestrebt. Durch sogenannte "people-to-people"-Massnahmen soll der grenzüberschreitende Integrationsprozess erhöht werden. Durch die stark regionale Ausrichtung der Kleinprojekte soll bei der Bevölkerung die Identifikation mit der EU bzw. dem Ziel der Zusammenarbeit über die Grenzen hinaus verstärkt und somit eine deutliche Image-aufwertung erzielt werden.
