Description (EN):

The project consists of creating a network of municipalities for the conservation, management and enhancement of natural and ethnographic heritage through the creation of ecotourism products and services and active tursimo in the regions of the territory of cooperation. The municipalities will use a holistic approach that will incorporate the physical, economic, social and environmental dimensions of the development of the tourism offer, always from a marked perspective of sustainability and conservation of the natural and landscape heritage. The municipalities of the ECO-TUR Network will jointly develop a strategy for the promotion of ecotourism in their territories through a methodology focused on the use of the value of cooperation and good practices of each partner. It is about proposing a strategy aimed at vertebrating the territory through the generation of routes and associated activities from the consolidated tourist centers to rural and natural environments.

El proyecto consiste en crear una Red de municipios para la conservación, gestión y puesta en valor del patrimonio natural y etnográfico a través de la creación de productos y servicios ecoturísticos y de tursimo activo en las regiones del territorio de cooperación. Los municipios emplearán un enfoque holístico que incorporará las dimensiones física, económica, social y medioambiental del desarrollo de la oferta turística, siempre desde una perspectiva marcada de sostenibilidad y conservación del patrimonio natural y paisajístico. Los municipios de la Red ECO-TUR desarrollaran de manera conjunta una estrategia para el fomento del ecoturismo en sus territorios a través de una metodología enfocada al aprovechamiento del valor de la cooperación y las buenas prácticas de cada socio. Se trata de plantear una estrategia encaminada a vertebrar el territorio mediante la generación de rutas y actividades asociadas desde los núcleos turísticos consolidados a los entornos rurales y naturales.
