Canary Islands presents important experiences and programs to support the internationalisation of companies but none of them specifically specialised in the export of high added value services such as engineering, architecture, consulting and other subjects where companies have a high specialisation and ability to generate value in the Canary Islands but with little capacity to open up to international markets. This fact damages the growth of the economy in the medium and long term and is due to the small size of most companies, which makes it extremely difficult to expand trade beyond the region in which they are located. This project aims to support the internationalisation of companies by focusing more in this edition towards business dynamisation, the detection of companies and opportunities and procedures with a clear support component in parallel for public institutions generating demand in this field.

Canarias presenta importantes experiencias y programas de apoyo a internacionalización de empresas pero ninguno de ellos especializado específicamente en materia de exportación de servicios de alto valor añadido como son la ingeniería, arquitectura, consultoría y otras materias donde las empresas presentan una alta especialización y capacidad de generar valor en Canarias pero con poca capacidad de apertura hacia los mercados internacionales. Este hecho, perjudica el crecimiento de la economía a medio y largo plazo y se debe, al reducido tamaño de la mayoría de las empresas, lo que dificulta en extremo su expansión comercial más allá de la región en la que se ubican. Con este proyecto se pretende apoyar a la internacionalización de las empresas enfocándose más en esta edición hacia la dinamización empresarial, la detección de las empresas y oportunidades y procedimientos con un claro componente de apoyo en paralelo para instituciones públicas generadoras de demanda en este ámbito.
