Description (EN):

The project is to take advantage of the added value of the cooperation between the World Heritage Cities of the territory of cooperation to collaborate jointly by forming a City-2020 Network towards the objectives of the EU2020 and UN203, emphasising a concrete and important priority for all the cities that make up the Network; improving business and commercial competitiveness, especially in the tourism sector. To this end, smart, sustainable and inclusive actions will be developed: Improving sustainable, innovative and quality tourism products and services, promoting trade in capital cities, supporting hotel companies to become more competitive, improving the business environment in African countries through open commercial areas, supporting SMEs through training actions and supporting social entrepreneurs to create economic, social and environmentally sustainable projects.

El proyecto consiste en aprovechar el valor añadido de la cooperación entre las ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad del territorio de cooperación para colaborar conjuntamente formando una Red City-2020 en pro de los objetivo de la Estrategia EU2020 y UN203, haciendo hincapié en una prioridad concreta e importante para todas las ciudades que conforman la Red; la mejora de la competitividad empresarial y comercial, especialmente en el sector turístico. Para ello, se desarrollarán acciones inteligentes, sostenibles e integradoras: Mejora de productos y servicios turísticos sostenibles, innovadores y de calidad, fomento del comercio en las ciudades capitales, apoyo a las empresas hoteleras a ser más competitivas, mejorar el entorno empresarial en países africanos mediante zonas comerciales abiertas, apoyo a las Pymes a través de acciones formativas y apoyo a los emprendedores sociales a crear proyectos economíca, social y medioambientalmente sostenibles.
