Description (EN):

The project seeks to strengthen the Canary Islands’ relationship with African entities and enhance their capacities to develop information and support tasks for companies; improve the Canary Islands’ knowledge of African markets and business opportunities; and establish cooperative relations with African companies that allow participation in international tenders through consortia. To this end, it is intended to: 1. Provide economic information, markets, tenders, studies, missions, information days, etc. 2. Training programme for African technicians and entrepreneurs on international tenders. 3. Regularisation of African companies in the automotive sector and improving safety and health and environmental management. The project is supported by two web portals and on the availability and training of the human resources of the participating entities. The long-term objective is to foster cooperation between Canary Islands and African companies.

El proyecto busca reforzar la relación de Canarias con entidades africanas y potenciar las capacidades de éstas para desarrollar tareas de información y apoyo a las empresas; mejorar el conocimiento que Canarias tiene de los mercados africanos y las oportunidades de negocio; y establecer relaciones de cooperación con empresas africanas que permitan la participación en licitaciones internacionales a través de consorcios. Para ello se pretende: 1. Proporcionar información económica, mercados, licitaciones, estudios, misiones, jornadas informativas, etc. 2. Programa de formación a técnicos y empresarios africanos sobre licitaciones internacionales. 3. Regularización de empresas africanas del sector automoción y de mejora de la seguridad y salud y gestión ambiental. El proyecto se apoya en dos portales web y en la disponibilidad y capacitación de los recursos humanos de las entidades participantes. El objetivo a largo plazo es fomentar la cooperación entre empresas canarias y africanas.
