The ECOMARPORT project aims to promote Marine-Maritime R & D & I of the European and African Macaronesian regions by implementing an operational network of environmental and marine observation in terms of water and air quality in ports (greens in Macaronesia), through the development and use of sustainable cutting-edge technologies, generation of products and tools of value for all its users, all through an adequate and efficient cooperation and technology transfer between public and private sectors in the field of marine-maritime sciences and technologies, promoting business opportunities in the context of Blue Growth. To this end, ECOMARPORT will incorporate innovative technological developments through new measuring devices, services and tools in environmental management and impact, in order to enhance results, products and services in management and the social environment.

El proyecto ECOMARPORT tiene como objeto promover la I+D+i Marino-Marítima de las regiones Macaronésicas europeas y africana implementando una red operativa de observación ambiental y marina en términos de calidad de agua y aire en los puertos (verdes en la Macaronesia), mediante el desarrollo y uso de tecnologías de vanguardia sostenibles, generación de productos y herramientas de valor para el conjunto de sus usuarios, todo ello a través de una cooperación y transferencia tecnológica adecuada y eficiente entre sector público y privado en el ámbito de las ciencias y tecnologías marino-marítimas, fomentando oportunidades de negocio en el contexto del Crecimiento Azul. Para ello, ECOMARPORT incorporará desarrollos tecnológicos innovadores a través de nuevos dispositivos de medida, servicios y herramientas en la gestión e impacto medioambiental, al objeto de poder valorizar los resultados, productos y servicios en la gestión y el entorno social.
