Syftet med Grön Tillväxt Trä är att öka användningen av trä inom byggnation samt som nya material och produkter. Projektet kommer att fokusera på att utnyttja de offentliga aktörernas roll som föregångare och beställare. Ökat samarbete och innovation kommer främjas genom kompetensutveckling av aktörer i värdekedjan samt stöttande av andra initiativ och idéer. Projektet vill främja innovationer samt attrahera fler företagsetableringar. Målet med projektet är att etablera ett ökat samarbete mellan aktörer kring trä som resurs för näringslivsutveckling och miljö. Projektet ska vara en samlad kraft över hela gränsregionen och kommunicera de stora fördelar som finns med trä som material.Grön Tillväxt Trä är en fortsättning på förprojektet ”Grön Tillväxt Trä” och ”Fyrbodal växer på träd”.

Description (EN):

The purpose of Green Growth Wood is to increase the use of wood in construction as well as as new materials and products. The project will focus on leveraging the role of public actors as a forerunner and client. Increased cooperation and innovation will be promoted through skills development of actors in the value chain and support of other initiatives and ideas. The project aims to promote innovation and attract more business start-ups. The goal of the project is to establish an increased cooperation between actors on wood as a resource for business development and the environment. The project will be a concerted force across the border region and communicate the great benefits of wood as a material.Green Growth Wood is a continuation of the pre-project “Green Growth Wood” and “Fyrbodal grows on trees”.

Achievements (SV):

Projekt Grön tillväxt trä är nu avslutat: Projektet har samlat aktörer, både offentliga och privata, över hela gränsregionen. Projektet har fokuserat på att utnyttja de offentliga aktörernas roll som föregångare och beställare. Några av de resultat man har uppnått är att nästan alla kommuner som ingår i projektet geografi har byggt någon offentlig byggnad helt i trä. Viken fylkeskommune har tagit fram ett policydokument att nya byggnader ska ha träkonstruktion. Man har tagit fram mycket material för att beskriva fördelarna med att bygga i trä. I samarbete med Högskolan Väst och Innvovatum har man stärkt arbete med fokus på design och inredning av trä. Projektet har lagt stor vikt vid kommunikation under projektet gång och man har bland annat producerat ett stort antal filmer.

Achievements (EN):

Project Green Growth Wood is now completed: The project has brought together actors, both public and private, across the border region. The project has focused on exploiting the role of public actors as a forerunner and client. Some of the results achieved are that almost all municipalities involved in the project geography have built any public building entirely of wood. The county municipality has produced a policy document that new buildings should have wooden construction. A lot of material has been developed to describe the benefits of building in wood. In collaboration with University West and Innvovatum, work has been strengthened with a focus on wood design and interior design. The project has put great emphasis on communication during the project and, among other things, it has produced a large number of films.
