Innovatum Science Center och Inspiria Science Center har tillsammans med Högskolan Väst, Högskolan i Østfold, Fyrbodals kommunalförbund och Østfolds Fylkeskommune beviljats medel via Interreg Sverige-Norge för att: Öka kunskapen om kompetensbehovet i Fyrbodal och Østfold och vilka arbetsmöjligheter som finns i området. Öka intresset bland ungdomar att utbilda sig i teknik och naturvetenskap för att möta dessa behov. Öka rörligheten över landsgränsen för att skapa en gemensam arbetsmarknad.

Innovatum Science Center and Inspiria Science Center have together with University West, University of Østfold, Fyrbodal Municipal Association and Østfolds Fylkes kommune been granted funding via Interreg Sverige-Norway to: Increase knowledge of the competence needs in Fyrbodal and Østfold and what job opportunities exist in the area. Increase the interest among young people to train in technology and science to meet these needs. Increase cross-border mobility in order to create a common labour market.

Achievements (NO):

Tenk et felles arbeidsmarked for ingeniører, naturvitere, IT-konsulenter, teknologer og vitenskapsfolk i hele Fyrbodal og Østfold. Et felles arbeidsmarked der kunnskap blir verdsatt og som kompetansemiljøene tiltrekkes av. Et arbeidsmarked der myndigheter, næringsliv, utdanningsinstitusjoner og science centre trekker i samme retning. Projektet Scandinavian Science Cluster (SSC) har under 2015-2018 aktivt bidragit till att skapa den framtiden. Ungdomar stod i centrum i projektet där målet var att öka den gränsöverskridande rörligheten på arbetsmarknaden. Science Centren, en mötesplats för att intressera ungdomar för teknik och vetenskap, utvecklades med hjälp av projektet till en arena för att matcha ungdomars intresse för teknik och vetenskap med näringslivets behov av arbetskraft. Projektet har genom sina insatser bidragit till: Økt intresse or arbeidsmuligheter over landegrensene. Økt kunnskap om næringslivet i begge land. Økt innsikt i fremtids-muligheter og utfordringer. Økt naturvitenskapelig interesse og kunnskap i befolkningen. Elementer som vil bli videreført etter prosjektets slutt er blant annet: Varige utstillinger på science centrene. Nye løsninger for skole/næringsliv samarbeid. Lærlingetreff med bedrifter mot elever. Virtuelle bedriftsbesøk. Feltkurs med teknologiske verktøy. Oppsøkende virksomhet på skoler. Achievements (EN):

Think of a common job market for engineers, scientists, IT consultants, technologists and scientists throughout Fyrbodal and Østfold. A common job market where knowledge is valued and which the competence environment is attracted to. A job market where authorities, businesses, educational institutions and science centers draw in the same The Scandinavian Science Cluster (SSC) project has during 2015-2018 actively contributed to creating that future. Young people were at the center of the project, where the goal was to increase cross-border mobility in the labor market. The Science Centre, a meeting place to interest young people in technology and science, was developed with the help of the project into an arena to match young people's interest in technology and science with the business world's need for manpower. Through its efforts, the project has contributed to: Increased interest or employment opportunities across borders. Increased knowledge of business life in both countries. Increased insight into future opportunities and challenges. Increased natural science interest and knowledge in the population. Elements that want to be continued after the end of the project include: Permanent exhibitions at the science centres. New solutions for school/business collaboration. Apprentice meeting with feats against students. Virtual farm visits. Field course with technological tools. Outreach activities in schools. Adapted teacher course.
