Description (EN):

ECOTUR_AZUL consists of the implementation of a common model for the sustainable use of the territory, the valorisation and the responsible use of its resources, maritime and land. It will provide attractiveness and competitiveness to the territories and maritime port cities of the Macaronesian space, boosting its Blue Growth. The project addresses cooperation from environmental protection and the preservation of natural and landscape resources, on the one hand, and the enhancement of cultural and natural heritage as an engine of growth and for its sustainable use through: — Actions aimed at heritage resources and emblematic enclaves. — The promotion of an innovative, sustainable and high quality offer. — Actions for the preservation and valorisation of its endogenous resources. — Actions to raise awareness and qualification of human capital and facilities linked to the tourist services and equipment of port environments.

ECOTUR_AZUL consiste en la implantación de un modelo común para el aprovechamiento sostenible del territorio, la valorización y el uso responsable de sus recursos, marítimos y terrestres. Dotará de atractivo y competitividad a los territorios y las ciudades portuarias marítimas del espacio macaronésico, impulsando su Crecimiento Azul. El proyecto aborda la cooperación desde la protección medioambiental y la preservación de los recursos naturales y paisajísticos, por un lado, y la puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural y natural como motor de crecimiento y para su aprovechamiento sostenible a través de: - Actuaciones dirigidas a recursos patrimoniales y enclaves emblemáticos. - La promoción de una oferta innovadora, sostenible y de alta calidad. - Acciones para la preservación y la valorización de sus recursos endógenos. - Acciones de sensibilización y cualificación del capital humano e instalaciones vinculadas a los servicios y equipamientos turísticos de entornos portuarios.
