SMICE är ett nätverk som stödjer hållbara visioner hela vägen till handling! Genom samskapande bygger vi drivkraft, innovation och cirkulära flöden i hela Mittnorden. SMICE stödjer cirkulära initiativ genom att koordinera kunskaper och resurser. Tex. hitta företagspartners, fler eldsjälar eller bygga den kunskap som krävs för att kunna slutföra projektet. Inom nätverket erbjuds också tillgång till möteslokal likväl som digital teknik för samverkan över längre avstånd. Arbetet i SMICE bygger på Appriciative lnquiry (Al), en beprövad metod för långsiktig, hållbar samhällsutveckling.

Description (EN):

MICE is a network that supports sustainable visions all the way to action! Through co-creation, we build driving force, innovation and circular flows throughout the Middle Nordic region. SMICE supports circular initiatives by coordinating knowledge and resources. For example, find business partners, more enthusiasts or build the knowledge needed to complete the project. The network also offers access to meeting rooms as well as digital technologies for long-distance collaboration. The work in SMICE is based on Appriciative lnquiry (Al), a proven method for long-term, sustainable social development.

Achievements (SV):

Syftet med SMICE: SMICE- projektet handlade i grunden om näringslivsutveckling, men riktade sig också till privatpersoner, företag och organisationer. Den stora bredden har motiverats av vissheten att omställning till cirkulär ekonomi måste involvera alla. Projektet har testat olika typer av aktiviteter och metodik för att kunna stötta och skala upp idéer och utvecklingsprocesser. Genom att arbeta processbaserat och lyhört har projektet tillsammans med entreprenörer kunnat stödja långsiktigt hållbar utveckling, både inom näringslivet och samhället i stort. Arbetssättet har bestått av strategisk riktning (omställning), mobilisering (av aktörer) och koordinering (av aktörer, aktiviteter och finansiering). SMICE har haft rollen som en coachande, samordnade part, samtidigt som vi, utifrån direkt respons från entreprenörerna, drivit på utveckling av stödjande strukturer, t.ex regelverk och finansiering. Några slutsatser Projektet kunde tydligt se hur viktigt det var att nya hållbara entreprenörer och idéer fick stöd i ett tidigt skede, både ekonomiskt och idémässigt (strategisk riktning), liksom att befintliga verksamheter gavs tillgång till kunskap och stöd för att kunna ställa om. För att omställningen till cirkulär ekonomi skall kunna ske snabbt nog behövs ökad kunskap och aktivitet inom hela innovationsstödssystemet. Projektets roll som samordnande part var mycket värdefull i och med att det övergripande målet handlar om något så komplext som samhällsomställning. Inom projektet har vi kunnat ha överblick över befintliga system, agera i samråd med entreprenörer samtidigt som vi haft möjlighet påverka skapandet av nya system. På detta sätt har SMICE-projektet kunnat bidra till att öka hastigheten i omställning till cirkulär ekonomi.

Achievements (EN):

The purpose of SMICE: The SMICE project was basically about business development, but also aimed at individuals, companies and organisations. The broad breadth has been motivated by the certainty that the transition to a circular economy must involve everyone. The project has tested different types of activities and methodology to support and scale up ideas and development processes. By working process-based and responsively, the project together with entrepreneurs has been able to support long-term sustainable development, both within business and society at large. The approach has consisted of strategic direction (transition), mobilisation (of actors) and coordination (of actors, activities and funding). SMICE has had the role of a coaching, coordinated party, while, based on direct feedback from the entrepreneurs, we have driven the development of supportive structures, e.g. regulations and financing. Some conclusions The project was able to clearly see how important it was that new sustainable entrepreneurs and ideas were supported at an early stage, both financially and thoughtfully (strategic direction), as well as that existing businesses were given access to knowledge and support to be able to transform. In order for the transition to a circular economy to take place quickly enough, increased knowledge and activity within the entire innovation support system is needed. The role of the project as a coordinating party was very valuable in that the overall objective is about something as complex as social transition. Within the project, we have been able to have an overview of existing systems, act in consultation with contractors at the same time as we have had the opportunity to influence the creation of new systems. In this way, the SMICE project has been able to help speed up the transition to a circular economy.
