El Espacio Catalán Transfronterizo (ECT), constituido por la demarcación de Girona y la provincia de los Pirineos Orientales, forma un conjunto geográfico e histórico, con una identidad compartida. Sin embargo, esta zona sufre de un importante déficit que dificulta los intercambios transfronterizos: la falta de una oferta transfronteriza de transporte colectivo sostenible de carreteras. En el marco de su colaboración bilateral iniciada en el 2006, la Generalitat de Catalunya y el Département des Pyrénées-Orientales, autoridades organizadoras de transporte, han descatado como uno de los principales elementos para el desarrollo de los intercambios transfronterizos una necesaria mejora de la oferta de transportes públicos. Así, los socios han elaborado el proyecto ConnECT, en el marco de su convenio temático firmado en el 2014, respondiendo adecuadamente a las necesidades de movilidad de los habitantes de la zona transfronteriza. Así ConnECT tiene como objetivo desarrollar la movilidad en este territorio mediante la estructuración de una oferta de servicio de transporte público sostenible, competente, adaptada, sin ruptura de servicio público ni limitaciones relacionadas con la frontera. Los principales ejes de trabajo responderán a retos claves de este territorio mediante una optimización de la oferta de transporte existente, una facilitación del acceso a la información y el desarrollo de nuevos enlaces transfronterizos para satisfacer las necesidades de 3 grupos destinatarios.

Description (EN):

The catalan cross-border area, including Girona and the Département des Pyrénées-Orientales, forms a relevant geographical and historical area with a shared identity. However, this territory suffers from a real disadvantage which complicates cross-border exchanges : absence of cross-border sustainable collective road transportation. As part of the bilateral cooperation between Generalitat de Catalunya and Département des Pyrénées-Orientales established in 2006, as organizing authorities of transport services, they pointed out the need to improve the public transport services, as a key component to developp the cross- border exchanges. Thus, the partners prepared the ConnECT project, in accordance with their thematic agreement signed in 2014, responding more effectively to the mobility needs of the inhabitants of the cross-border area. ConnECT aims to develop the mobility on this territory by structuring a real sustainable public transport service, efficient, adapted, without any interruption of public service or constraints linked to the border. The main lines of work will responde to several key issues of the territory by optimizing the existing transport offer, providing easy access to information and additional cross-border connections to meet the needs of three targeted population groups.

L’Espace Catalan Transfrontalier (ECT), constitué par la démarcation de Girona et le département des Pyrénées-Orientales, forme un ensemble géographique et historique doté d’une identité partagée. Néanmoins, ce territoire souffre d’un réel handicap qui complique les échanges transfrontaliers: l’absence d’une offre transfrontalière de transport collectif durable routier. Dans le cadre de leur collaboration bilatérale instaurée en 2006, la Generalitat de Catalunya et le Département des Pyrénées-Orientales, en tant qu’autorités organisatrices de transport, ont pointé comme l’un des principaux éléments pour le développement des échanges transfrontaliers une nécessaire amélioration de l’offre de transports publics. Ainsi, les partenaires ont élaboré le projet ConnECT, dans le cadre de leur convention thématique signée en 2014, répondant de façon adéquate aux besoins de mobilité des habitants du bassin transfrontalier. ConnECT vise ainsi à développer la mobilité sur ce territoire par la structuration d’une offre de service de transport public durable, performante, adaptée, sans rupture de service public ni contrainte liée à la frontière. Les principaux axes de travail répondront aux enjeux clés de ce territoire par une optimisation de l’offre de transport existante, une facilitation de l’accès à l’information et le développement de nouvelles liaisons transfrontalières permettant de répondre aux besoins de 3 groupes de population cible.
