FAUNAPYR contribue à la protection des écosystèmes transfrontaliers grâce à une meilleure connaissance de la répartition géographique de la faune pyrénéenne et renforce la collaboration en matière d’échange, de visualisation et d’exploitation des données concernant la faune, en termes de conservation, de biodiversité et de développement durable du secteur touristique. Ce projet vise également à encourager et à socialiser la contribution de la science citoyenne, ainsi que la connaissance et la conservation de la biodiversité. Dans ce but, le projet rassemble 6 partenaires français et espagnols possédant une expérience dans la production, la gestion et l'exploitation des données relatives à la biodiversité (actuellement des millions d'enregistrements), qui apportent également les contributions de la science citoyenne. Avec cette approche globale et complète, FAUNAPYR apporte une valeur ajoutée aux informations actuellement disponibles au niveau régional, en les plaçant dans un contexte géographique plus large qui facilite la circulation de l'information entre les différents acteurs pyrénéens. FAUNAPYR contribue à l’Axe 3 du Programme POCTEFA 2014-2020, grâce aux: - Plate-forme en ligne permettant la visualisation et la consultation de données sur la faune de toute la région pyrénéenne. - Création d'un réseau de collaboration entre les institutions générant des informations relatives à la faune. - Création d'outils d'exploitation pour la conservation de la biodiversité et tourisme.

FAUNAPYR contribuye a la protección de los ecosistemas transfronterizos mediante la mejora del conocimiento sobre la distribución espacial de la fauna pirenaica, fortaleciendo la colaboración en materia de intercambio, visualización y explotación de datos de fauna en el ámbito de la conservación de la biodiversidad y desarrollo sostenible del sector turístico. Además, pretende valorizar y socializar la aportación de la ciencia ciudadana al conocimiento y conservación de los ecosistemas pirenaicos. El proyecto agrupa 6 socios franceses y españoles y un socio asociado español, con experiencia en la generación, gestión y explotación de datos de biodiversidad (con millones de registros actualmente), incluyendo aportaciones de ciencia ciudadana. Con este enfoque global e integrador, FAUNAPYR genera valor añadido sobre la información actualmente disponible a escala regional, al ponerla en un contexto geográfico mayor y facilitando los flujos de información entre distintos actores pirenaicos. FAUNAPYR contribuye al Eje 3 del Programa POCTEFA 2014-2020 mediante los siguientes resultados esperados: - Creación de una red de colaboración entre entidades generadoras de información sobre fauna - Plataforma online de visualización y consulta de datos sobre fauna para el conjunto del ámbito pirenaico - Creación de herramientas de explotación de los datos para mejorar la conservación de la biodiversidad y las actividades turísticas vinculadas a la observación de fauna

Description (EN):

FAUNAPYR contributes to the protection of the Pyrenean ecosystems by improving our knowledge on animal spatial distribution. The project reinforces the collaboration of partners and potential actors in terms of data interchange, visualization and exploitation for the conservation of the Pyrenean biodiversity and sustainable tourism. Moreover, the project contributes to value and socialize the contribution of the citizen science in the understanding and conservation of the Pyrenean ecosystems. FAUNAPYR involves 6 French and Spanish partners, as well as an Spanish associated partner, with experience in the fields of the generation, management and exploitation of biodiversity data (with currently millions of records), including the contribution of citizen science. With this global approach, FAUNAPYR generates an added value on the information available at a regional scale. FAUNAPYR contributes to the Axis of the 2014-2020 POCTEFA Program, with the following expected main tangible results: - Creation of a collaboration network involving entities managing fauna data - Online platform to visualize and consult spatial distribution data on the Pyrenean fauna - Creation of tools allowing a better use and exploitation of fauna data in order to improve biodiversity conservation and tourism activities linked to fauna observation
